They were responsive in coming out for the estimate. They told me it would be about three weeks until receipt but they actually attempted to schedule installation earlier but I had a conflict and had to push back the date. On the day for the scheduled install they did not show, but had called my work number to notify me of the cancellation. Since I was at home waiting for them since it was early in the morning, I had no idea of the cancellation until I finally checked my phone messages. The second installation date ended up being several weeks later. They arrived on time and worked more quickly than anticipated. I am happy with the installation. They were attentive to aesthetic details in measuring and installing. I was worried about installing into my brand new tile but there were no problems. They answered my questions patiently and were informative and helpful.

We emailed Borter with measurements and within a day got a reply with an estimate. We were pleased with the quote, and we scheduled an appointment for a measurement. The gentleman was prompt, cheery and professional. He measured all and promised a detailed quote (which was about the same as the first quote). He was helpful with suggestions as to mirror size and hardware and listened carefully to what we wanted. We had the quote by the next day and ok'ed the work. Within two weeks, the two installers were here to finish the job. They were also prompt, professional and cheery. Within a 1/2 hour, the mirror was installed as well as the shower panel. Our bathroom is finished and it looks great! Thanks Borter for a job well done!

Carol Borter took excellent care of me on the phone, set appointment. Craig provided estimate and gave valuable other information. After job was completed, an additional handle on the door was needed and the installer came back at no charge to put it in. I am very appreciative.

It went very well. The service man was very nice. He offered to pick up tiny pieces of glass from carpet but I said I would vaccum. Found more glass on upper sill and also outside. Asked him to remove visible silicone which he did but I had to cut more away afterwards.

The morning of the scheduled estimate, I was called and told that there were be an additional fee of $200 just for measuring, delivery and installation and that Mr. Borter recommended I call another company to do the job. In other words, he was not interested. I had taken the morning off of work and was very disappointed that I was not called back to be told that my job was not worth their time. Instead, my time was wasted.

They completed the job on time as promised. Borter has done work for me before and always done exemplary work, completed on time and priced right on the estimate.

The job went very smoothly. No problems whatsoever.

Overall lousy, the scheduled time to meet was 3:00pm I left work early to be able to be at the home to meet the window person on time, it wasn't until 4:00 pm that I received a message while I was on the other line. The message was from a obviously teenage employee who stated they could not meet the scheduled time. When I returned the call the same person answered and told me that the window person had called in sick, this was something they could have told me before I left work early. As I got upset with this person all he could say was "sorry dude" I left work early and waited and hour past the scheduled time for "sorry dude". Borter glass wasn't even professional enough to have a mature adult call and apologize for not fulfilling their service commitment. Price quoted was good but then again you get what you pay for, luckily I didn't pay.

They were polite and on time. This company is what you want. They were reasonably priced, the other bid I received was for $178. I would use them again.

Recommended by many for a shower door to fit a very small opening (23"). I went to the showroom and was helped by Carol. She was very patient and knowledgeable and offered suggestions. She gave me samples to think about at home. I called later that day to put in my order and Carol was again helpful with questions. It was so great to deal with her. The door was professionally installed a week or so later. Thrilled!

Called got a quote and made an appointment. Was promised phone call prior to show so I could leave work. Never received phone call at work only on cell phone out in car. NOTE: ONLY GIVE THEM ONE NUMBER FOR THEM TO REACH YOU!! Made second appointment week later, same story no call, my daughter calls and tells me there is a guy at the house in a glass truck. I told her give me the number so I could call the company. Called the company and spoke to a individual whom notified the truck that I'd be on the way. Got home at 3:26, appointment was at 3 pm. Called the company only to be told "our time is too valuable" . Mine is too, thats why I asked for a call ahead. I'm not comfortable in todays world to allow my daughter to let a strange man roam our house while installing windows. Call me old fashioned, but if the guy waited 15 minutes he could've waited 10 more.

From the two individuals I spoke with over the phone, to the installer Alberto and his assistance, this team was polite, courteous, and prompt. I called them on a Monday morning around 9:00 and by a little after 10:00, they had fully installed and fixed my sliding glass door. Quick turnaround and a great price compared to other glass companies I called. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone as they know how to take care of their customers!

Mr. Borter was on time and completed the work I needed done to replace the broken panes of glass. The costs of completing the work was higher than the estimate, but this was understandable given the complexity of the work required.

THE SEAL ON MY INSULATED WINDOW BROKE AND IT FOGGED. THEY REPLACED IT WITH AN UN-INSULATED UNIT, WHICH CREATED A MISUNDERSTANDING, CAUSING THEM TO COME BACK A FEW TIMES. TURNS OUT THEY DIDN'T SEE THAT THE UNIT WAS INSULATED, WHICH WOULD BE A LOT MORE MONEY. I COULD HAVE RETURNED THE UNIT AND GET AN INSULATED ONE, BUT IT WAS FINE SO I KEPT IT. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND THE OWNER EXPLAINED IT TO ME WELL. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME UNTIL IT WAS SETTLED. I GAVE A B ON THE PRICE ONLY BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE WANTED TO PAY CHEAPER. I DIDN'T SHOP AROUND BECAUSE I TRUSTED THAT THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB AND THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. ACTUALLY I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT PRICE FOR AN INSULATED UNIT AND SINCE I DIDN'T SHOP AROUND I DON T KNOW THAT THERE WOULD BE A BETTER PRICE. I LIKE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE I MOVED TO TAMPA IN THE EARLY 80'S, AT LEAST, AND I'VE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND THEIR PRICES ALWAYS SEEMED GOOD.
