Description of Work: This contractor never answered two e-mails that I sent requesting a roof replacement estimate. After calling and speaking with the office with my request I received a call from Cliff about 3 days later on 07/02/15. After discussing what I was looking to have done Cliff indicated he would inspect the roof the following week in order to estimate replacing the entire roof with shingles or possibly metal. As of today 07/28/15 (over 3 weeks) I have never heard back from this company and have never received any kind of estimate whatsoever for roof replacement on my house.

Description of Work: They were honest and told us that roof was not in need of repair. Damage we cited was due to older leak that had been repaired. We watched the area through several rainstorms and water test they performed...without any leaking. They saved us a great deal of unneeded cost.

Description of Work: WE CONTRACTED TO HAVE 6 ROOF VENTS INSTALLED INTO OUR OFFICE. THE APPROX TOTAL JOB TIME QUOTED WAS 2DAYS. WE CLOSED THE OFFICE FOR 2 DAYS AT A SIGNIFICANT INCOME LOSS BUT THE WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE....AFTER I CONFIRMED DATE AND TIME SHIELDS ROOFING NO SHOWED! RECEPTIONIST WAS CONFUSED THOUGHT THE JOB WAS DONE SINCE "WELL IT WAS ON THE SCHEDULE". REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO REACH A SUPERVISOR/OWNER/MANAGER HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFULL.

+ -1 moreI CALLED THIS COMPANY TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON REPLACING MY SHINGLE AND BUILT-UP GRAVEL ROOFS. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DIDN'T SET SPECIFIC APPOINTMENTS, BUT SOMEONE WOULD COME OVER NEXT WEEK. THEY SAID I DIDN'T NEED TO BE HOME. THE LADY SAID THAT AFTER THE SALESMAN EVALUATED MY ROOFING NEEDS, HE WOULD SEND ME AN ESTIMATE IN THE MAIL. FIRST, I HAD A LEAK IN MY HOUSE AND WAS IN DESPERATE OF A ROOFER. SECONDLY, HOW COULD THEY GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE WHEN THEY DIDN'T KNOW SPECIFICALLY WHAT I WANTED. THE LADY TOLD ME I COULD CALL AND DISCUSS THE ESTIMATE ONCE I RECEIVED IT. I DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY THE DID BUSINESS, SO I CALLED AND CANCELED THEIR VISIT. APPARENTLY THEY CAME OUT ANYWAY, AS A WEEK LATER I RECEIVED THEIR ESTIMATE IN THE MAIL. RELUCTANTLY I DECIDED TO CALL AND ASK THEM SOME QUESTIONS. I CALLED TWICE AND ONLY GOT A RECORDING, SO I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THEM TO RETURN MY CALL. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK! I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH A COMPANY WHO SHOWS SO LITTLE REGARD FOR ME.
