Kevin arrived and looked at our issue and determined it was minor, and in no way a health risk. He advised me as to a course of action, and the problem was remedied just by his consultation and disinfecting on my part. Everything turned out great. Kevin runs his business like my dad ran his, with honesty and integrity. If you are worried about the mold you think you might have, call him, and feel comfortable that he won't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Kevin and his team were professional from start to finish. Following a professional mold test, we contacted Kevin to remediate the problem. I am an off site manager of the property, so communication is key. Kevin communicated clearly and confidently from setting up the initial inspection, to providing the quote, to scheduling the appointment, and finally to sending documentation and photos at the end. All his promises for timeframes were met (!!!). Our tenants in the effected space were very pleased with the professionalism of Kevin and his team through out the process. Our tenants felt completely assured that the problem was handled completely and that the space was safe to use again, free of mold. As property owners, we felt the same. From start to finish this was an easy and efficient process which exceeded my expectations. Kevin came out to my house on time (9 minutes early actually) inspected my shower ceiling which had a good amount of black mold on it. He checked for further damage that could be lurking behind the walls which he concluded that there wasn't. By the way - He was correct because we are now in a full on bathroom remodel and I have actually seen behind the walls, no mold! I was promptly provided with a very detailed and itemized estimate with a fair price reflecting a 10% Angies List discount. He and a colleague came out to my house a couple of weeks later blocked off the area to be treated so as not to contaminate the rest of the house and in a few hours I had a gorgeous, squeaky clean shower ceiling. I had black looking mold showing up in the tub of two of my bathroom. I called Air and Surface and they arrived @ my residence on time (actually 5 min. early). He did a phenomenal job. He explained what it was, why this was happening, how to correct it and what to do to avoid it in the future. He even offered to check my master bathroom which had a shower and tub. He made recommendations here as we'll to avoid future mold problems. Very knowledgeable, will definitively use again if needed,

It was a good experience. The ceiling dropped on my car and he fixed it too -- that was nice that I didn't have to deal with that on top of everything else.

Kevin did a great job. He was available for an estimate very quickly, gave me a thorough overview of what he would do and the cost, was timely, and was able to schedule and complete the service rapidly. It took two days to remove and clean all the areas. The morning after the second day was the first time I've woken up without a headache and inability to breath through my nose. It was wonderful! Kevin also recommended the drywall company I have previously used. He sent them all the measurements and details of what they would need so I was able to quickly schedule an appointment to have the drywall replaced. There ended up being more damage than expected, and Kevin notified me of the additional cost and discussed what could be repaired later and what it would involve. He cleaned the work areas quite well after the work was complete and actually left it cleaner than it was to begin with. He disposed of some old cabinets I had sitting in the garage, which was a huge help to me. I greatly appreciate that Kevin treated my house as though it were his own. When he completed the removal, he then sent me a document of pictures and detailed description of what he did. It's great to have that record! I will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend him.

Contacted Kevin Renner. Set a date and time. Kevin arrived on time and was very knowledgable and courteous. Explained the process and even helped get an air conditioning duct service, drywall specialist and plumber in on the process of the remediation. While working he kept my condo unit secured. He and his crew cleaned every item in my unit. I was very impressed with his professionalism and highly recommend their service. I would definitely use him again, if the need arises.

After mold was found in the kitchen of a small investment property I was purchasing, I contacted Kevin at Air and Surface Disinfection to do the remediation. Even before we met in person, Kevin was prompt and friendly in answering my emails. He and his brother arrived exactly on time the first day and did a first-rate job of getting rid of the mold and properly cleaning and de-molding the area. January 6, 2012, a Terminix Inspector discovered severe water damage underneath the bathroom floor via the crawl space of my home while performing an inspection for rodent entryways. Due to the Inspector?s reaction to the leak, I immediately scheduled a Plumber who came out on an emergency call to stop the leak. I was told by an Insurance Adjuster, Building Contractor and Plumber to evacuate the home due to mold and structural concerns. I waited patiently for a few weeks relying on insurance to be supportive. Florida Peninsula Insurance sent out an Engineer who did a 4-hour inspection and told me that the floor joists amazingly were okay and I could go back home and wait to hear from the insurance company. I didn?t feel safe at home and contacted a Mold Specialist named Dave Pitney who performed Lab Testing. On January 25, 2012, I was told again the home was not healthy or safe and I should leave immediately and perform standard mold remediation using a contractor certified in mold remediation and familiar with guidelines and industry acceptable practices as to remediation standards, containment strategies, air flow control techniques and the proper use of personal protective equipment. From the initial assessment to the very last day, Kevin and his team were absolutely incredible. Kevin was extremly thorough at the initial assessment. He explained everything as he went along. He made the process [that I was very apprehensive about] basically painless. I needed a plumber he gave me the name of someone he trusted, and even arranged an appointment for me. I elected to have the pre & post air tests. He gave me the names of 3 testers and helped me with coordinating that inspection. He worked with my schedule for access to the house. He was very accessible and was very prompt in answering my email. I can't say enough about ASD. I was very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

In January I had a rodent in my attic and the exterminator found a hole in between a wall that led from the crawlspace under the house to the attic. When the exterminator was in the crawlspace under the house he found extensive water damage underneath the bathroom and kitchen floors. The shower had been leaking in between the wall for years and rotted out all the flooring in the bathroom, joists and some of the kitchen. The damp conditions also led to an infestation of mold. A plumber was called and cut into the wall to stop the leak. A contractor then said he could fix the remainder of the damage. I called Kevin at Air and Surface Disinfection to give me an estimate. He was very professional and through with explaining how the problem happened and the process he was going to do to clean it up. His estimate was also right in line with another estimate I received from another company. Kevin and his team were great, they came in and put up two containment units and started work. I had to work most of days they were there and I felt very comfortable with leaving him at my house to do his work. During the week he was very conscientious of trying not to disturb the rest of my house, so i could carry on with my normal activities, which he did. The work he did was awesome, my house is back to normal. He was also very receptive to any questions I had and concerns during the whole process and gave me updates at the end of each day on the progress that happened and what was going to take place the next day. I would strongly suggest Kevin and Air and Surface Disinfection, if have any mold issues.

ASD was very responsive and explained their process in very clear terms. Their estimate was clear, very professional and very competitive on price. The only reason we did not use them for the job was that my mother-in-law had signed a contract and given a deposit to another contractor. I would definitely use ASD in the future.
