They missed the first two appointment they made. The guy showed up and he clearly didn't any have idea what he was doing for this particular model.

Had appointment for 12 to 3p.m. Friday, Aug 16th they called 9:30 a.m. wanted to know it I wanted them any earlier than noon, I said no my original time would be fine they called at 3pm said they were running late, promised A tech would call and my job will be complete byn8p.m. I received no.tech call and Noone showed up at all

We could never schedule because I couldn't get at least a reasonable non-binding estimate for toilet installation. I didn't ask for a quote, just a cost bracket to avoid spending $89 for an out of budget service.

The guys were very friendly and professional. The work went quickly with no issues. They charge by the job not the hour but I paid way to much for the value I received. It was $556 for them being here 1 1/2 hours; I could have had a handyman do the same work for significantly less money.

$582 for a 20 minute job. Normally for such a simple 10 minute job I would replace the valve myself. Its extremely simple and easy. But when I did the valve was stuck because of mineral deposits so I broke it. I had no water in the house so I used emergency same day service. Bottom line I was charged $582 for a job where they spend about 60 minutes at my house. 20 minutes to prepare a quote, 30 minute repair, 10 minutes documentation. That's about $10 a minute. They charge $139 for an emergency service call but did no apply that charge to the work, just to come out and give an estimate. Then they charged $$443 for the simple repair installing a $25 part. If my water was not off and being late in the day I would never have used them. I called around today to five different plumbers they all told me about between $90-$125 plus a service fee. While the job was done they gouged us. $582 - email me and I will send you a copy of the invoice. NEVER USE THEM

We had a previous good experience with Ben Franklin Plumbing that encouraged us to try again, but it took 3 visits from 2 plumbers to get it done. We wanted to get a water line installed to our fridge in the kitchen, as well as a quote on fixing a leaky kitchen sink. The first guy that came out insisted he had to see the rest of the house (manager said this is normal, but he's the only of 3 techs we had that did this). He insisted on quotes for a water heater and softener (neither of which we wanted, and we told him this). After 30 minutes of all of that, he got to the quotes. The tech was Jamaiican, and very hard to understand. He quoted both jobs around $900, and had trouble when I wanted a break down of each job, as I really only needed the water line. He kept pushing their "plan", but wouldn't tell me what the cost was (found out later it's $8/month), just that I'd save 15% that day. I finally told him just to leave, because he clearly was more interested in selling then helping us. After a bad review, the manager called and wanted to send someone else out. He confirmed that just the ice maker would be $512 total (including the $69 fee to come out that we'd already paid). He agreed to not charge another fee to come out, and to send someone else out. Kyle came out the next day. He was very nice and knowledgable. He said that the job would have been over $1000, and that it was going to be exspenive. Nobody told him we had already been quoted. He reviewed and said the quote that both the first tech and the manager agreed to was completely wrong. He honored it, but said that it was half the cost it should have been. He did the work, and all seemed good. However, when he pushed the fridge back, the breaker kept tripping. We figured it was a faulty breaker, not his fault, and sent him on his way. When we reviewed later, we found that he had actually pushed the fridge on the stainless steel water pipe, to the point where it was jammed and up against the fridge, causing it to short out and trip our breakers. Had we not caught this ourselves, it would have cost us for an electrician. On top of the fact that he could have shorted out our brand new fridge. We then found out he connected the water line to the hot water, not the cold. He had to come back out another day, and admitted he didn't check them, just assumed that the house was set up like most are. Ultimately, we got what we wanted done for a fair price (we had a quote from another place, Ben Franklin seemed to be more expensive if they had quoted correctly). But it took a span of 3-4 days, 3 visits, and a lot of stress and phone calls trying to handle this.

Total con job. Scott Blackburn is a con artist. James Mullis is a liar. They are both cowards. You can read more here. [*** Link removed ***] But from what I see this 'list' it is pure BS too from all the A ratings. These guys are nothing but thieves that have no real plumbing experience. They stole a toilet and tried to charge us over $1000 to replace it. They installed a used toilet on a rusted out flange when all we wanted was a main line cleared. They also charged us for stuff that wasn't done like replacing the flange. They are not worthy of your time.

It went well. Erik Young and his supervisor James Mullis gave us a great price on all that needed to be done. The installer Carlos and his crew were polite, helpful, and on time. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I know that these plumbers can be on the pricey side, but the quality work and warranties are worth every penny. Great customer service.

Fine. Very professional, informational,and polite.

Scott was very professional, discussed each project I needed in depth prior to starting the jobs and gave me the pricing of each as well, so I could decide whether to proceed or not. He did a great job and I would highly recommend his services if you are in need of a plumber. My only concern is that their prices were a little steep, but I received quality work for those prices with a established company behind them. I will not worry that the job will fall apart in the future.

Everything went smooth. I wasn't there at the time of the service call but my wife was. Ted was polite and very professional.

They come out, they're thorough, things have been fixed that I've been thankfulfor and I have great confidence in them.

The inspection was through and no problems were found.

Knew what he was doing and did a great job very happy with service. There was no cost I have Benjamin Franklin warranty services that cover the first $500 so there was no charge.

Excellent! Jose was on time, professional, outgoing, and friendly. He reviewed with me how to properly maintain my new water heater. He also took a look at some other plumbing issues I have and made recommendations. He even fixed a leaky faucet for me! An exceptional experience! I will definitely call them again when I need plumbing work done.

Jose completed all the work and explained how the new system worked and he inspected inside plumbing. Jose was very knowledgeable and efficient.

This was a great experience! Roy lived up to what I've learned to expect from Ben Franklin and One Hour Air as their techs are always punctual, professional and go the extra mile to educate their customers and ensure satisfaction.

Clayton was awesome. He explained everything and gave us multiple pricing options and suggestions on improving our service. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is now my plumber and they give a Military rate. Awesome!
