Bast's quote was too high for us to choose them. Their customer service was good and they were knowledgeable.

The new wood was adjacent to the wood that was installed years ago. There was an obvious difference in the coloration because the old wood had faded. We had the floor sanded and refinished. The quality of their work and the quality of the material they use makes the difference. They are quite professional. This was the third time that we used them, and each time we have been satisfied. They are easy to work with. They are not the least expensive. They are definitely on my list of companies to contact for future work.

Due to our indecision we worked with Bast over a period of 8 months. The entire team at Bast was extremely patient and supportive of us as we tried to narrow down choices of wood. They were more than willing to order in samples and allowed us to view them in our home to see how well it would work. Matt Johnson educated us on the different types of wood and came to the house to take measurements. Stacey & Michelle helped us by sending information and scheduling appointments. The installation team was very impressive. The entire house was installed in 2 days. The crew was very professional and experienced in their work. They made sure we were satisfied with the look of the wood as they progressed and were very neat in their work. They did a fantastic job matching the wood to the tile without the need of transitions. They had no problem when I went into a room they had finished and I did not like the color of one of the boards and asked to replace it. They were able to remove it and replace it without any problems.

Bast was incredibly professional and the gentleman that did the work for me, Paul, did an absolutely beautiful job. I did a lot of research before I began this project, and got a lot of estimates, but Bast was my first (and should have been my last stop). I am very happy with the work they did, and gladly give them two thumbs up.

They were absolutely excellent. They installed flooring in our house and did a very professional job. They could not do the installation because we were showing that we had moisture in our floor. It turned out that when we had our pool put in 1979 and they did not cap the sprinkler system correctly, so for years and years when we put the sprinkler system on the water was coming into our foundation. We had to make sure that it was done correctly. They did a fabulous job and I would recommend them. We spent about $10,000 on that work and the price seemed to be right at the time. They were not the least expensive, but were the best qualified.

It was an excellent experience, I had no problems. They were easy to work with, easy to schedule and easy to deal with. You could go to their show room, ask for samples and take them home. If you needed them to come out they would, there were absolutely no problems at all working with them.

From start to finish, the crew was there on time each day and they finished the project before their projected time. There are a lot of runs in the polyurethane, but they were willing to fix these. Overall the floors are beautiful and the first thing anyone notices when they walk in the house.

Really well. Because of the fumes from the finishing, we ended up camping in the backyard for 4 nights. If you can swing it, I'd recommend getting a hotel, but it was fun. We get a lot of praise for the floor

It was a great experience, and I am really happy with them. The technician was very good. They have been in business for a very long time.

They are very professional, were on time. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. We were very satisfied with the finished product.

Chris Newcom was very helpful and responsive throughout the sales process in helping us pick out the right materials for our tastes and needs. After we signed the contract, however, we never heard from Chris again despite 2 messages left at the office for him regarding concerns we had during the installation. The crew (4 people) arrived pretty much on time and set up their work areas and materials without asking about our needs or preferences - creating some inconveniences. Two gentlemen were here consistently until the floor was done and did great work. The onsite supervisor, Marcello, was in and out during the installation. Overall, we are satisfied with the final product, but the crew was very sloppy with the detail work such as molding, replacing doors, and cleaning adhesive off the floor prior to leaving. We had to call them back multiple times to take care of details that they said they would handle. Communication and coordination with the office and onsite super was bad!

John and Roger were on time and reliable through out the project - which took about 6 work days. They treated our home like their own. Politely asked how and where to set up their equipment and materials so as not to disrupt our living or our working - both my wife and I have home offices. They were detailed and conscientious in their work and creative in working around issues and contstraints posed by the construction of the existing staircase. The only detail that they missed was puttying the nail holes on the new treads before the final finishing was completed. Scheduling Chris to do the final sanding and finishing of the new treads and rails with the office was a hassle...but Chris did a great job. The office staff are not very customer-focused when it comes to communication, coordination and scheduling with customers - from our experience.

We decided not to do the work. But he gave a good estimate, came out on time, and returned the call promptly. He was very professional. If we were going to do the work we would definitely consider them.

EXCELLENT. WE USED BAST SEVERAL YEARS AGO TO INSTALL NEW FLOORS UPSTAIRS AND HAD GREAT EXPERIENCE THEN AS WELL. THIS TIME AROUND THEY REFINISHED OUR 11 YEAR OLD WOOD FLOORS AND THEY LOOK LIKE NEW.

AFTER COMPLETING THE JOB OUR REFRIDGERATOR LEAKED WATER NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE. BAST RETURNED TO RE-DO THE JOB AT NO FURTHER COST TO US. BAST IS COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, TIMELY, AND PROFESSIONAL. THE FINISHED FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL, LIKE NEW.

WE USED THIS CONTRACTOR 4 YEARS AGO BUT WOULD RECOMMEND THEM BASED ON THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We did not price other companies because Bast came highly recommended. They were very professional & attentive.
