The installation crew (Nick and partner) was professional, efficient and polite. They arrived on time, removed the old door and drive and installed the new one. The took all old materila and packing materiel with them and left a clean door and garage. It was a pleasure to do business with BankoOverhead Doors.

The salesmen came to give an estimate with several options, samples and price ranges. They scheduled the install for the following week. Joe came by himself to do the install and it took about 6 hours. He left everything clean and it all works fine. One small thing was that I was told by the salesman that the clickers would work for both garage doors. In fact you need a separate clicker for each door and the keypad only works on one door. It's a small inconvenience. Also, in order to use the opener buttons in the car, a serviceman must come out and place a black box in your garage that must remain plugged in for you to use those buttons that come with the car. He programs it for you all at no charge.

We have a 2-car and 1-car garage. When the house was built, the 2-car garage had an automatic opener installed. However the 1-car side was only pre-wired, but no opener installed. We did OK with this for 10 years. My husband purchased a motorcycle and he wanted to be able to open and close the door from his motorcycle. I called Banko on 10/28/13 to get a quote. I was told it would be $338.00 for a 3/4 HP door which included all wiring, "doorbell" style opener and keypad opener on the outside. Rather than call around to a bunch of other places, I decided since Banko had so many positive reviews, it had to be the best. I was told they could come out the next day with a time window of 3-5 p.m. This worked great for me as the morning was no good. At 1:30, the technician called and said he had a cancellation and could he come early. I told him it was fine. He arrived 15 minutes later. We discussed what was to be done. He finished in 1 hour and gave me the owner documents and walked me through setting up the keypad code. He was very apologetic for not having light bulbs and explained he had given his last 2 bulbs to another customer during a service call. That was no problem as we always ave a stock of all types of bulbs and after finding out the maximum wattage of bulb, I installed 2 bulbs and everything was good. The sales person and technician were friendly, professional, prompt and gave me an accurate quote. I would use them again and if I ever need service I know who to call.

What can I say. Our 16' double garage door cable went off of the cable drum and the door was jammed sideways. Dan answered the phone early Sunday evening. He was professional and honest. He show up promptly and did the job. In addition to fixing the problem he check everything to make sure it was in working order. He lubricated and made safety adjustments to the the springs, opener chain, wheels, and hinges. We did pay a premium for service on a Sunday night call and he did advise us he could come on on Monday for half the price. We chose to have him come out and pay the premium. I would rather deal with that then have a skunk or whatever ransacking the garage.

Awesome experience with Banko! Found them based on the great reviews here and checked out their website. Great setup that allows you to schedule an appointment so went ahead & got the ball rolling. They came out and were very helpful in matching my new single bay garage door to the existing double bay. Selected the garage door openers and scheduled the work for the next week. Work went very well. The technician showed up on time and had everything completed in a few hours and really did the job right. After he left, our old rickety & noisy garage doors/opener is no more. Everything is smooth & quiet and couldn't be more satisfied with our experience.

They were very good and the price was great. They showed up on time, performed the work and my wife said they did a great job. The garage door has been functioning smoothly since.

Install was a quality job. The installer was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Installer took the time to answer all my questions and advised me on how to maintain my new garage door opener. Overall I was very happy with Banko doors and would recommend their services. Having dealt with other garage door companies in my past 22 years in the Tampa Bay area I have to say that Banko Overhead Doors is the best.

I called Banko and spoke with someone who picked up the phone. I let them know that I needed a service call and so they transferred me to an another extension and so I left a voice message. I never heard back from them. I called another company from Angie's List and that company came out the same day.

Same day service.(Excellent) Repairman was friendly but professional. Worked quietly & listened to feedback. Finished quickly. Will use "Banko" again if need to.

Very professional all the way, from the gentleman who answered the phone and made the appointment to the gentleman who serviced the door. I thought parts would be needed, but the serviceman said no--just lubed, cleaned and performed general service. Could not be happier--the door works and is much quieter than before the service.

The technician who installed my garage door was awesome! He was very efficient, well organized, and treated my home as if it was his own. I called Banko because the spring on door broke. They arranged an appointment same day. After arrangements made the electricity went off and was not expected back on for several hours. I talked to Rob, the repairman, and he came anyway. He went above and beyond...he fixed the door using flashlights and through extreme heat. Before he left the premises the electricity came on, door working properly. I recommend Banko Overhead Door and have used them in the past with excellent results

Arrived on time, diagnosed problem quickly and installed new card. Technician was very pleasant and professional. Would definitely call them in the future.

Everything went great! Took most of the day but the garage was probably cleaner than before Michael started!

We scheduled an estimate. They came out and determined what had to be done. The price seemed very reasonable so we went ahead and scheduled time for the repair. Their technician came out promptly at the appointed time, replaced the damage door and door seals, adjusted the tension cables and lubricated everything so that it operated like new. Everything went great and the technician was very efficient and proffesional

The appointment was setup between 2:00 - 4:00pm. The installer showed up on time at approximately 3:00, introduced himself very courteously and began the installation. I went out to check on him a few times and he was very knowledgeable and took great pride in his work. He cleaned up after himself and did a great job explaining the operation of the system.

When I scheduled the installation appointment, I was told I could request to be the first installation of the day. I needed to be in the office for meetings later that morning, so I requested to be the first appointment during the 8-10am timeslot. The problems started when the installer, Tanker, hadn't arrived by 9:20am. When I called Banko they didn't know where he was. He finally showed up at 9:40am. He installed the garage door opener quickly (about 50 minutes), but his tardiness caused me to miss a meeting at work. I found out the hard way that he installed the garage door opener too quickly. Within a week of installation, the garage door was opening and closing roughly and I started finding shiny-new bolts, nuts, and washers on the garage floor. I called back Banko and scheduled someone to take a look at it. I took another morning off work for the return visit. It was Tanker, again. It turns out that he didn't tighten several sets of nuts and bolts and they fell out (which is what I found on my garage floor). The opener was literally falling apart. He replaced and tightened the hardware. So far, it's functioning as expected since that return visit. While the price was excellent and the home office was responsive, I was very disappointed by the installer's tardiness, shoddy installation, and the inconvenience of a repeat visit to correct the installation problems.

When I called they were very responsive and came out that morning to assess the situation. This was on a Saturday. He said it was an easy fix and I would not need a new door. That was a relief. The work was done the following Tuesday while I was at work. If I had not been able to finally raise the garage door I'd never have known they were there. They locked the door on the way out and did a good job for me. I've not had any trouble with the door since. Kudos, Banko!

They completed the repair in a timely fashion at the promised cost. Would certainly recommend to others in needed of garage door work.

The service person arrived on time. He completed the service in a timely manner for the promised price. He also gave some simple tips for maintenance I could do myself in between any future tune-up service. The service was well worth the price.

The two men who installed the doors showed up on time and finished in record time - I forget but it was about 4 hours or so. It was SO HOT and was glad they had a box fan to blow on them. They were so neat and cleaned everything up on the inside and outside of the garage doors! Extremely conscientious and professional!!

The service was great. The installer was phenomenal. He really knew his stuff and got the job completed in three hours including removal of the prior door and the installation of the new door. Their people followed up with coordinating the inspector as well. They were really good on the administration side as well.

I had several of them to come out here to give me an estimate. Theirs was very reasonable compared to the others. They did a good job. They stayed here for about three hours. They showed my husband how to operate everything.
