Banko Overhead Doors Inc

This is the third time I have called Banko, so I'm sold on their service. The first two times I needed new electronics boards for my LiftMaster. This time I thought I needed the spring tightened to rebalance the door, but the technician found that was okay and adjusted the rails. It's working now.

I called them at 11am and Tanker the technician was here at 1pm. Talk about fast! He saw the problem was a damaged drive belt right away, and had it fixed in 30 minutes. He even took the time to grease the wheels and hinges before he left. Top notch company with fair prices and they were very courteous and professional the entire time.

They did an excellent job. They came on time and the price was very reasonable.

After 17 years, our 2 door garage door opener died. We have used Banko for years for any of our garage door issues. In fact they replaced the one door unit about year ago. As usually they delivered as promised. Love this company. They were timely, professional and quickly diagnosed the problem and provided me with several alternatives from repair to replacement. We elected the replacement option and could not be more pleased. The new unit is so quiet and it is a dream to open and close. Would highly recommend this company. They are a class act from start to finish.

Tech Dan B. replaced the above springs, re-aligned the door, re worked the lift arm for proper function and finally lubed all the wheels hinges and cables. He was a true professional, courteous, patient and answered all my questions. I plan on asking for him the next time we need a service call. Thank You Dan.

When I called they were able to get a service call scheduled very quickly. The tech arrived on schedule and completed the work quickly. The techs are very neat and professional. This was the second time we used Banko and I am very impressed. I have already recommended Banko to several friends that needed garage door service.

We love our new garage door. We had to replace an existing wood garage door that was starting to dry rot and fall apart. We chose to have the garage door replaced with a door that was not wood but looked wood and would not rot like the existing door. Banko doors offered a wide selection in their showroom and the staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and nice. They helped us get the perfect door for us. The installers were very professional and worked hard, they came on time, were very clean and went out of their way to do a good job. The price was good too! We recommend Banko doors. Thank you Banko doors! You guys did awesome!

I called Banko Overhead Doors and they were at my home the next day. The serviceman checked the garage door and my old garage door opener. He found the problem pretty fast and replaced a part in the opener then did maintenance on the door itself. The gentleman answered all my questions and didn't mind that I watched while he worked. I had expected to be told with the age of my opener I should replace it. Nope, the service guy seemed to be honest and did what was needed without an up-sell. I will probably buy my next garage door opener from Banko Overhead Doors when the time comes.

First, courteous help from appointment taker, I had a special request that the estimator arrive approx 5:30PM as I don't get home from work until that time. This was no problem and Gary was punctual. even coming from Tampa. He gave me a complete estimate to replace the door with several options and explained thoroughly about each. I wanted 3 estimates, and after I had the second (the third, D & D Garage Doors who always did all of the servicing of the existing door, couldn't be bothered scheduling an appointment to meet my schedule, guess they don't need the business, they get an F from me) I picked Banko and called Gary, he quickly checked to see what availability they had and coordinated a date and time with me. The installer, Joe, was right on time, removed and replaced the door in a very professional manner and then went over the features of the door with me, especially pointing out the hurricane locks. Garage was spotless when he left. Couldn't be happier with the company and the professionals I dealt with.

Well..., They could have had all A's, and more, but... They were supposed to arrive between 2 and 4 pm, and the service technician had still not arrived by 4:30. I understand there can always be delays but we were going out for dimmer (Friday evening) and had no idea when his arrival would be. That's what phones are for. so, I called... profuse apologies... guy shows up around 5:30. Mind you, when I first called for service, I also stated that my other garage door opener's drive gear had bit the dust and perhaps the technician could replace it while he was there, and even gave the model number of the unit. It would have been a 20 minute job and I would have saved the service call and they would have had a bit more money, Sorry, no dice... They were running late, you see, and this was not the same technician that I had received an email from the day earlier confirming the time span of arrival, a really fine, but alas, useless touch. I'm not angry, really. And the wise-a** tone is really meant to be tinged with banter type, trash talk humor ; I'm a golfer, you see. It's tough to go against the grain of all the fine reviews Banko gets. I'm sure it's for good reason. I'd actually rather give them a PRIVATE, snarky review like this. So I figure I can let everyone know I WOULD use Banko again, but I will remind them of THIS review when I call. Oh, and while I'm at it, there was no mention of a 3% senior discount. I'll take that as a compliment, seeing's how I'm 71.

Everything went smoothly! I would not hesitate to call Banko again should we need any garage door repairs in the future. Hopefully, it won't be due to my wife hitting it again, though! Their communication was excellent from start to finish. I also appreciated the information they sent before the appointment with the repairman info prior to the service date. Today it is nice to know that you are working with reputable individuals!

It went well. It took about 30 minutes and we are good to go in and out.

Banko handled all permits and work. Sales representative and installer very professional. Installer finished door within the 4 hours alloted and cleaned up after his work. Took time to explain the features of my new door and how the door opener worked. Also advised on how to get the door inspected using the paperwork Banko mailed to me ealier in the week. Very pleasant experience and the product is great quality.

The installer arrived on time. The garage door was the same model as had been earlier quoted by others, but at a better price. Not top of the line and not the quietest, but it operated fine and looked nice. Upon closer examination, the trim didn't seem wide enough. I phoned Banko, they special-ordered the wider trim and, after an initial mix-up in appointment dates, they returned to reinstall the wider trim at no charge. Overall, I was pleased & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Called them up and they were able to schedule me right away on the day I requested. The technician called when he was on his way. He was punctual, courteous and efficient. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I phoned Banko after our garage door spring broke. Our door was 35 years old, had a hole in the front (which I had repaired to the best of my ability) and rot in the wood across the whole bottom. Although I initially was just going to get the spring fixed, I decided to replace the entire door. Why? It was going to be $220 to replace the spring on my double door. I was pleased that the technician showed up same day. I started the conversation about repair versus replace. He offered to show me a door he recommended and said it could be replaced (as well as the whole system) for $960. Since we plan to stay here for 15-20 years, I decided to replace, since we knew the door was on its last legs. He made a temporary fix so that our door was usable. Banko called to schedule and we picked a week out, since that was their first opening. I was hoping for a sooner date, so she put me on the waiting list. I received another call and was pleased to get bumped up several days., They showed up on-time, were very professional, did a beautiful job in a very short time-frame. The installer pointed out that our garage floor was a little too long for the new door which is an inch thicker than our old one. He recommended shaving it down for a perfect fit. We now have a beautiful new door, with a much better wind rating, and it has improved the look of our house to boot. Thanks Banko!

Gene phoned at appointment time to inform he would arrive in approx. 1/2 hour. He replaced the two 10-year-old garage door springs. He inspected the garage door opener and lubricated it. He showed me how to fully and correctly lubricate the garage door springs, hinges and rollers. He gave me recommendations for the best type lubricant to use.

The installer arrived on the scheduled day at the scheduled time, did a great job with the removal and installation, and cleaned up completely after he was done. The workmanship was great and the door passed permit inspection with no problems.

One of the springs on our garage door had broken. We called Banko Overhead Doors and made an appointment to have repairs made. They gave us an estimate over the phone, and sent a confirmation email with the name and photo of the repair man assigned to the job. Banko Overhead Doors replaced the springs on our garage door, as well as the seal on the door. The repair man was on time, courteous, and completed the job quickly and efficiently. The cost fell right in line with the estimate provided over the phone. Replacing the garage door seal was an additional request made while the repair man was here. We are please with the work and service provided and would recommend Banko Overhead Doors to anyone.

Very well. It was a busy Monday so running a little late. The servicemen offered to reschedule, but instead we agreed to go ahead and I was very glad. He had the opener up and running very quickly! Nice and friendly also.

The company took care of the problem in one day. Everybody I dealt with was very professional and efficient. I have used Banko in the past and the service has always been excellent.

The technician showed up on time and explained what he will be doing. Asked if there were any questions and provided very detailed and professional answers. The job lasted 3 hours as estimated including the removal of all old materials and anything else that was used to get the job done. The level of noise was minimal. Before leaving the technician explained various aspects of the door as well as the maintenance requirements. We are very happy we went with Banko and would recommend them without any reservations. The level of service is impeccable.

This is the 2nd time I have used this company (at 2 different locations) and both times I have found them very professional and quickly attentive to your needs. Their prices are excellent and service personnel very knowledgeable. I highly recommend!! Judi Waterman
