Frank called me to tell me that he was in traffic and might be delayed, but he still arrived on time. I showed him the work I was requesting, which was specifically to remove a medicine cabinet from a bathroom, and repair the drywall. There were also some uneven areas on the wall that I asked Frank if he would be able to smooth out and he said he could certainly do that. Frank also hung a new mirror in that bathroom as well as one in the second bathroom. This was not part of my original request, but he could see that I would have difficulty doing it. Everything was done very professionally, in a timely manner and the work area was totally clean before Frank left. I also asked advice on several other areas of potential work and will certainly call ATI to complete my projects. I am very pleased.

Highly recommend ATI. From first phone contact Jack was extremely responsive. Came out and gave a quote plus gave me some ideas on tile selection. At first, was just going to have them install the backsplash but I had purchased 2 new cabinets and asked if they could install them too. Ont he day of the install, Shane was right on time. Very polite and very professional. He was meticulous in his work and worked from the minute he arrived until he left. There were some difficult areas to deal with and he managed them perfectly. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. He was a pleasure to work with. A different installer did the cabinets during the same time, which was really helpful since both my husband and I work and did not want to take any more time off work. They did a great job on the cabinets also. Overall, they did what we asked them to do, in the time frame, at the price, with great workmanship. Will definitely work with them again when we redo our bathroom.

We have used ATI a bunch of other times and have been always very satisfied with the job done. As I have indicated in my other reviews - the entire ATI team always does a great job. This last project was no different and in fact I wish I could give a grade higher than A! We are in the process of having a pool put in and that project was progressing until it came time to have the screen installed. The installers discovered that the Fascia was dry rotted and could not proceed until it was repaired. I called Jack late Thursday night and he had Ryan at our house at 8am the following day. Ryan worked on tearing off all the old stuff all day Friday and then returned for a day and a half the following work with Greg to finish the job. They both did an outstanding job as I know they would. The screen installers arrived earlier today to finish the install and commented to me that that the Fascia work looks great and they really appreciated it being done so quickly. ATI comes thru again ... they got the job done right, acted in a professional and friendly manner and billed me a fair amount for the work done. I highly recommend them and look forward to our next project by ATI

Like many recommendations on this site, this is one of contrast with a prior contractor found through sources other than Angie's List, which ultimately proved disastrous, and ATI Services which was found with excellent references on Angie's List and then contacted. Jack answered the initial call promptly, arrived punctually for an arranged estimate, and gave an honest appraisal of what was feasible and cost effective to repair. He also provided what proved to be an accurate timetable to repair and complete the project. Contrast: Accurate timetable for the length of project. Fair pricing for the scope of work. ATI workers showed up to work before 08:00 and worked a full 8 hours or more daily. ATI workers performed their work efficiently, and equally important, proficiently, at all times. ATI workers coordinated all work with me and requested my input in all decision making. ATI workers did not work outside the scope of their expertise or licensure. ATI workers behaved professionally at all times. ATI workers covered my furniture, flooring and countertop surfaces the moment they entered my home, and then removed it in the evening to allow use of the home. ATI workers cleaned the work area, removing debris and equipment every evening. ATI workers' painting was impeccable with crisp, clean lines, giving a total of three coats which was required to cover the underlying paint. ATI workers repaired the prior poor quality painting which often required repainting entire walls to create a professional and blended appearance. ATI workers rebuilt a severely damaged area of drywall allowing the kitchen backsplash to be installed, also hiding the large gaps from a poorly cut countertop by the prior contractor. ATI workers performed perfect texturing and repair of other areas of damaged drywall. ATI workers securely installed a bathroom vanity. ATI workers removed and reinstalled a bi-fold door irreparably damaged by the prior company, and reinstalled other doors left strewn by prior company. ATI workers properly disposed of wastes such as paint, grout, etc. ATI workers proficiently installed several ornate hanging lamps, (without the instructions I had inadvertently taken with me.) ATI holds itself to a high standard of workmanship and professional accountability, and Jack and all the workers made it clear that if needed, any follow up work would be addressed promptly and without question, to my final satisfaction. In summary, my experience with ATI Services was excellent, and I would wholeheartedly recommend the company to family and friends.

I've used ATI Services before, with superb results, so there was no question whom I was going to call. I told Jack Z what was needed, gave him the tenant's contact information, and he took it from there. He arranged a time that was convenient for the tenant for him to come and inspect and do an estimate. The estimate was more than I wanted to pay, but included repainting the ceiling. I said I would take care of that part of the job, and Jack immediately estimated $300, which seemed more than fair. I approved the work, Jack arranged with the tenant to do it at her convenience, and voila! I think he actually had to replace more drywall than he had originally expected, but still did it for the amount he had originally estimated. The tenant is happy, I'm happy, and all I have to say is, if you ever need ANYTHING these guys do, you can count on it being done right with no hassle, promptly, professionally, for a fair price. Look no farther - you HAVE found the best. These guys are genuinely decent human beings; they care, and it shows. A PLEASURE that people like this still exist!

Arranged for Jack to come by my home and went over items I needed done. His quote was good and I went with his company, based on favorable Angie's List reviews. He sent a two man crew early in the morning and they completed everything by mid afternoon. They were very hard workers and are excellent representatives for their company. I am 100% pleased with ATI Services!

I am extremely pleased that I chose ATI Services for my remodeling work. I would recommend the company, and Jack the General Contractor, to anyone. Jack really listened to my 'vision' for the Master Bathroom and Kitchen work - and he helped me achieve that vision within my budget. I never felt pressured or up-sold on any of the work, and Jack even recommended a number of cost-saving measures to me. I really enjoyed being involved in choosing the colors and materials for the work - instead of having to choose from a small, pre-determined list of options like other contractors offer. Jack even accompanied me to the tile store to help me pick out the tile colors, size, and type. He was an invaluable resource, and he was ALWAYS accessible to me when I called. The work was done in a professional manner. I really enjoyed his employees Paul and Luis who came to my house every day to work - they respected my schedule, arrived on time, listened to all of my requests, and were great with my dogs! ATI finished the project within a week of their original time estimate. I had a baby on the way, so the timing was important to me. We had one slight problem with the countertops initially not being the right size, and Jack was very quick to correct the issue with his countertop maker - he got the issue corrected immediately and I never felt that I had to push to have it done right. In fact, any issue or concern I had was addressed timely. Jack really treated my home like his own home - I appreciated that. I would use ATI Services again for any major remodeling work. I liked them so much I recommended them to all my neighbors - now one of my neighbors is having Jack do work for her too!

Awesome! The room looks incredible. The workers were punctual, professional and extremely nice and easy to have in my home. Additionally, ATI was able to schedule and complete my service very quickly. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend ATI in the future.

We wanted to do some upgrades in our home so that when it was time to sell it would stand out. Jack was amazing. He even called to see if he could come EARLY. What contractors do that? He was on time for every appointment and even called or emailed in advance for reminders. He also replies to emails extremely fast, it was really nice to be able to communicate quickly and efficiently. His employees arrived a few minutes early every day they were scheduled to be here, worked non stop (except for normal breaks of course), and were professional and courteous the whole time. I have a few candid comments in this review that I never addressed with Jack, and I want to make sure everyone knows that I am satisfied with the work that was done and am hiring them again very soon for another house. The issues I bring up are just to explain how the whole experience went and to provide my honest feedback. ATI's price for painting is unbelievable. It is well worth it to hire ATI to paint, they had the best prices out of the many contractors we called and did a great job. I do have to say that we have heavily textured walls and I had to ask the guys to touch up the edges several times. I wish they would have been a little more careful in that regard. Overall, good job though and saved us a lot of hours from having to paint ourselves. The biggest project was tiling our backsplash. We put a new countertop on existing cabinets, so it wasn't entirely level. This was a bit of an issue to get the horizontal glass tiles to look straight. I had to push them a bit to get them to adjust the tiles. In fact after asking several times and being told it would look better when grouted, my husband stayed home from work to ask them to adjust them. They did get them "straight enough" and now we don't notice it. I am sure someone coming into the home would never see it. It was very clear to me while the job was being done and I felt I had better address it while it was happening rather than be unhappy when it was done. Now that it is done, it really looks great and the kitchen looks amazing overall. I was seriously impressed with their ability to match the texture of our walls when we had those cheap glued on mirrors removed. We had several contractors tell us there was no way they could do it. ATI did awesome on that part! All of our other mini projects were just touching up the house, repairing little things, and making it look better to sell. They did great on everything. The only thing I am disappointed with was the re-caulking of the shower. We did not use the shower for 3 days after the job was done and all of the caulk has come off already again. I don't know if this was due to the type of caulk or if we have a caulk eating shower? Jack's probably going to read this and wonder why I didn't tell him...so there ya have it Jack...the shower has no caulk again! :) Maybe someone can try again when we have you out for the next job? Overall - ATI did great and we will (and are) hiring them again. Thanks!

After having our house damaged by another contractor breaking a water pipe in the second floor attic, we turned to Angie?s List to find a general contractor who could handle all the various repairs. The damage included carpet replacement on two floors, wallboard repairs, ceiling repairs, bathroom flooring and cabinet replacement, popcorn ceiling replacement, and repainting for all of the above. We located Jack Z. with ATI Services on Angie?s List and called him for an estimate. Jack was very knowledgeable of all facets of the repairs and offered many suggestions along the way. We agreed to ATI Services doing the work. A schedule was established and Greg and Paul arrived at the appointed time to start the work. During the repairs, the upstairs bathroom tile was installed and a new vanity was installed on the same day. This turned out to be a bad idea as the tile was apparently walked on too soon. This caused the tile to be unleveled and not properly aligned, probably due to shifting. I sent Jack an email about the condition of the bathroom. Jack responded immediately. He had his crew completely remove the vanity and the tile. They replaced the tile and waited until the next day to replace the vanity. Jack?s taking responsibility for the mishap without any argument is something not seen in many contractors. The rest of the work was finished in a timely manner and they did a wonderful job. I want to offer a special thanks to Greg for his efforts during this project. He is meticulous in everything he does. We also hired ATI Services to accomplish two other projects. Again, their work was superb.

For the job they did, they did a very good job. The person who came to fix it is professional. He did it rather quickly, I was impressed. He covered everything and they painted the whole ceiling so it matched. They did a good job.

We had worked with Jack and ATi Services twice before and were very pleased with the work they had done, and this job was no exception ~ we were delighted with the process and outcome! Luis and Jack were top-notch professionals to work with. Very friendly, understanding of our budget, and always professional. Lu arrived early every morning and worked non-stop until the job was finished. The vanity, sink, toilet and tub were all removed and replaced with a beautiful walk-in shower, toilet and new sink and vanity, and the bathroom was repainted. Lu even made a little inset in our wall, where guests can put small bottles. He is an artist with tile and the result is beautiful. We have already received many comments about our bathroom looking like it just came off the pages of Houzz and Pinterest! In particular, we found Jack to be responsive to a "give and take" decision-making process driven by the fact that we wanted a bit of an unconventional and nontraditional look to our project. After giving us the "pro's and con's" of our decisions in relation to house resale factors, Jack graciously acquiesced to our vision and brought it to life. In summary, we were highly satisfied with both the process and the end-product of our third project with Jack and we look forward to our upcoming fourth renovation with him. Oil and Water do NOT mix. True in life as in paint… This contractor shot himself in the foot big time. Every classic mistake; complete loss of professionalism, unwilling to take responsibility, blame the customer, use every excuse in the book and a few new one’s, argue and insult the customer, (a women) using bigoted, racist, chauvinistic remarks, insulting the customers partner. We could go on and on… We hired ATi to remove old wall paper, patch and paint the entire inside of our new home. Ceilings walls trim, molding, and so on… Ati outlined the materials and process; prep, prime and paint the trim and molding with oil. Everything seemed to be going well till we noticed that the finish on the walls was flat and should have at least an eggshell finish. The contractor apparently did not listen when we described the finish we wanted and shot down our suggestion to use Sherwin Williams paint, during our many conversations. We got wrong the paint finish, too bad for us, and naturally it is all our fault. If that wasn’t bad enough, ATi painter Joe, failed to prep the trim and molding properly and mixed oil and latex paint, classic rooky mistakes. Needless to say it all must be stripped sanded, re-primed and properly painted. The cost for this is more than painting the whole house again. Jack Z of Ati, so far has denied responsibility for the paint finish. Ati did admit the problem with the trim and molding paint, however Jack Z caused such a scene in our home, with my wife that we can never let him back on the property. This is so unfortunate. Jack Z has done work for us on several of our properties. Until recently he has been a pro. What we now know is that Jack is swell to work with until there is a mistake or a problem. He does not like to be shown he is wrong and can become extremely childish, nasty and get extremely stubborn. Be very careful hiring ATi and Jack Z. Also keep in mind that Jack Z doesn’t actually do any of the work. He is simply a Sales Man. This is an ongoing issue and as of June 4th 2013 Jack Z has not been willing to cooperate. We recently purchased a home that was in need of interior painting and wanted part of a wall torn down. Found ATI through Angie's list. Jack, the owner, came out to do the estimate and he was professional, straightforward and personable. I think you can tell a lot about a company by how they handle difficulties during a job and during this job they had more than their fair share. So, while they did not finish near the estimated time they did come in at the estimated amount and we ended up with a perfectly done wall(thanks Skip)as well as a professional and beautifully done paint job(Thanks Joe) If Joe is part of your crew you'll have the best interior painter I have encountered(I've hired more than a few) and as an added bonus he has a great Irish accent.

There is a reason Ati has such great reviews, Jack is awesome! I asked Jack to come out and give me an estimate and he showed up on time and even brought his cabinet guy with him. From the very beginning he understood exactly what I wanted: not the Mercedes of Kitchen's but a solid Toyota. As we all know, kitchen remodeling can get expensive fast but Jack understood I was operating within a budget and suggested options that met my needs. Anyone who has ever lived through a remodel knows it can try your patience, but this was eased because Jack's team hit every deadline and time commitment he had promised. My kitchen looks absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier. I would not hesitate to recommend Ati and/or use them again.

WE COULDN'T HAVE HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE!!! Jack of ATI Services was excellent. He told us what he was going to do, he did it, and he did it very well! And he has very competent and experienced workers who do excellent work! We had a 3-page list of "Services Requested", and everything was completed in a timely fashion and to a satisfactory degree of excellence...not one complaint from us. We were constantly "in and out" checking on the progress, and no one minded. In fact, it got to the point where the workers were voluntarily telling us what was finished and what they'd be working on as soon as they were done with the current job. Perhaps the most important facts are: 1) this house was being renovated for selling purposes and 2) ATI's work was so good that it resulted in the house being SOLD to the 1st person to walk through the house on the 1st day of the MLS listing!!!

Overall I was very satisfied with the service. I liked that it was easy to communicate with Jack, and that he came over to my house to check out the work in progress and to see that things are okay. He gave me his cellphone number, and answered it whenever I called, in addition to being available by email.

He was very professional, but his quote was double the other estimates I had gotten. I expressed that to him. I mentioned I had gotten a quote from Home Depot for much less and he said that Home Depot would be charging extra fees when they came out. I asked Home Depot about that and they verified that the final price would be the same as the estimate they had given me. I felt that the estimate form ATI Services of Tampa Inc was much too high.

We have been working with ATi and Jack Z for more than five years. We have been Real Estate investors for several decades, both here in Florida and else where in the country. Because we own rental properties we believe that keeping up on our properties and keeping our tenant happy is our number one priority. Happy Tenants pay on time and stay a long time? Personally I am not always easy to work with. I demand respect and professionalism. I am a value buyer. I expect my vendors and tradesmen to treat me with the same respect I give my Tenants/Customers and their families, you can ask them. Jack Z is old school and embodies the kind of work ethic that I was taught as a boomer growing up in the 60?s & 70?s Every time I have needed Jack Z, he has been there. His teams of professionals are quite a rare commodity for this area of Florida. They are polite and respectful of the customer?s time, home, and possessions. They clean up after themselves and never argue or act like they are superior, like so many of the trades do. ATi is always a ?Best Choice? because you can count on fact that Jack Z and his people will show up, and you will always get a very competitive price. ATI's workers were prompt, professional and my husband said he would describe them as "artists" ~ they were just that good. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product! Thanks to Jack and Leslie for making this "redo" so easy for us!!! We will definitely be using ATI Services for more remodeling projects.

The project was completed right on schedule. My parents, in their eighties arrived on New Years eve. My biggest concerns were how they were going to manage moving back into and unpack a full home. Jack and his team were exceptional. The home was a complete transformation. The quality of work was first rate. There was no detail over looked. For 2 days they assisted my parents in every task they needed to ensure they had no stress in moving into the remodeled home. My Brother and I arrived a few days later, to assist my parents (my brother also has his own home construction business ic DC) and when we arrived, we we were both so pleased from the outcome. Overall the work was first rate. They completed the project right on time. The extra attention to details, to include work with the neighbors, assisting my parents in settling back in, and every amazing detail in the home, made this a home I couldn't enjoy more. In today's economy it is a given we all expect quality work. The work completed was amazing quality, but the extra customer service from his entire team was exceptional as well. Jack and his team are exceptional. It was a risk to take on a project that I couldn't pay full attention to, but with every risk comes reward. The reward was well worth it. I would recommend ATI 100% for any project you are considering. I will continue to utilize ATI for any future projects.

ATI services was fantastic in their professionalism, friendliness, and I really liked how the business was run. We were in a time crunch to finish the bathroom before visiting family came for the holidays and Jack was able to work some magic and get us in quickly. I had purchased some schleuter rails to finish the tile edges, but I don't think ATI services uses that system much. I was getting conflicts in how they install between ATI and the store I purchased them from (Floor and Decor Outlet). I would have much preferred a chrome edge over the bullnose tile we ended up using instead. In the end the finished product came out great, and we're in total disbelief that we own this bathroom! OK,so how are you going to choose among different people who all have A ratings? My strong suggestion: Choose Jack Z at ATI. Here?s why: As you can see, he?s very highly spoken of on Angie?s list - that?s why we called him in the first place, though we had never heard of or met him before. There was something about the reviews on Angie?s list that sounded like the kind of people we wanted to deal with. Read the reviews yourself - you?ll see! He is unfailingly both polite and intelligent. On his first visit - to give us an estimate - Jack saved us over a thousand dollars by showing us a better way to accomplish what we were trying to do in a rental property we own. On his second visit, to give us an estimate on a job to remodel a different house we are buying to live in ourselves, he saved us another couple of thousand dollars, by again talking us out of some of the work we thought we were going to hire him to do. How many contractors do you know who will save you money by NOT doing something you were intending to pay them to do? He has terrific subcontractors working for him. (Making cabinets, doing plumbing, electrical, etc.) He told us that is because he treats them right and pays them immediately instead of making them wait for their money as other general contractors do. So he gets their best people, ready to go the extra mile for him. I wanted an additional small job done (a stovetop removed), and Jack put me in directly touch with Mr. Madewell, who does cabinets for him, to save me the cost of the over-ride he would have gotten as general contractor. He did the same thing with a plumber when I wanted a plumbing line installed for a water distiller. (Mr. Madewell spontaneously volunteered that Jack Z is THE BEST of the fifty-some contractors he has worked with.) Jack had great suggestions every step of the way, including on how to reconfigure our kitchen. (He also suggested that we NOT re-use the kitchen sink and faucet, saying that this kind of faucet is very likely to leak when re-used. We decided to ignore his advice on that one, only to find out a week after the job was done that the faucet began leaking and the plumber said it?s a design flaw - can?t be fixed, has to be replaced!) Financial arrangements were always clear upfront and fair. The one part of the job I had originally gotten someone else to do (not from Angie?s list!) was refinishing the floors. The other guy, from Floormedix, did a terrible job - trashed the floors. Knowing we were short on cash (in case you couldn?t tell!), Jack arranged for us to be able to tile over the floors at avery reasonable price - and he told us an inexpensive place to get excellent tile (Floor and Decor) in Clearwater - and just what kind to get. Jack and his workmen were ALWAYS there a few minutes EARLY and ALWAYS done when they promised or early. The quality of everything Jack and his subcontractors did was superb throughout. We are thrilled and delighted to be in our beautifully remodeled home, and enormously grateful that we found Jack Z and ATI. We wish you the same - and if you work with Jack, I?m confident that?s exactly what will happen. (Thanks again, Jack!)

We e-mailed Jack Zolneirowski for a quote because ATI Services had remodeled our bathrooms in 2006. HATI Services was very responsive and completed the repairs well within our deadline. We were very happy with the work.
