ATi Services of Tampa Inc

After meeting with pleasant and personable Jack Z., who provided us with a copy of their license and a Certificate of Liability Insurance, we contracted with ATI to remodel our master bathroom. ATI requires 30% down, after signing the contract, to get on their schedule. (We find that perfectly understandable and had no problem with that. We only mention it because another reviewer seemed to think it was odd.) The first thing that impressed us was that the workers arrived at 8:00 each morning, just as Jack told us they would. Service industry people are seldom on time in Tampa, so we were pleasantly surprised. Construction is messy and dusty, but they took care to minimize the effect to the rest of the house (that doesn't mean we didn't have dust, but it could have so much worse) and to lay heavy-duty sheets of paper from the front door to the bathroom to prevent any damage to the floors in between. Each day, they cleaned up the bathroom and the paper walkway before leaving, and completely removed the paper walkway each weekend. This made everything look normal unless you entered the construction zone. We can't say enough about each of the individuals involved in the actual construction. Ed Spink supervised the crew and kept the project on task. Gary and James did the demo-ing of the existing bathroom, as well as framing, texturing walls and ceilings, and some tile work. In the middle of the project, a different person who did much of the tile work was let go and his reaction caused some tension onsite. Ed went out of his way throughout the remainder of the project to smooth things over, even to the point of completing the tile work, among other things, himself. (NOTE: Ed is an excellent tile setter!) For the next few days following this "bump in the road," Ward was called in to assist where needed. Ryan, who was onsite for nearly the entire project, did whatever was needed each day -- framing, tiling, grouting, texturing, and painting (meticulously!). All of these guys were pleasant, friendly, and intent on ensuring the final result was exactly what we wanted. In addition, ATI gave us a list of businesses from which we were to select our cabinets and countertop. The cabinets came from PGT Cabinets and the granite countertop came from LuFriu Marble, Inc. We were pleased with the people, product choices, and final product from both places. ATI also used subcontractors for plumbing (Clog Busters), electrical (Alvanno Electric), and frameless glass around the shower (Professional Glazing Service LLC) -- all very professional and pleasant. We highly recommend ATI Services!

Jack came out and gave us an estimate within 2 days of the date we called and e-mailed a quote the same day, so we were able to make the decision quickly. Once we made the decision to do it, the guys were out to the house beginning the job in 2 weeks. Joe and Eddie were the painters and they were conscientious, thoughtful, helpful and ok to have around the house for 2 weeks while they completed the job. Whenever a problem arose or they had a concern or problem, it was brought to my attention. They also were conscious of a plan in light of carpet replacement and trying to minimize the impact on my schedule in terms of completion. There was clear communication throughout the job and a concrete timeline was always delineated on an ongoing basis. Eddie and Joe (the painters) did their jobs well and were conscious of any areas that were not up to their standards; and they always kept me informed as to what they would be doing in the next couple of days. We love our home with the painting and new carpeting and there are no "reminders" of painters having been here other than the clean lines and great new look!! I would recommend this company for any work needed. There seems to be a strong work ethic and actual desire to do good work rather than just finishing a job and collecting $$$. I will be calling Jack again when we need more work done.

I called ATI Services, Jack called me back with in an hour. He stated he would need to come by to look at the needed project. We set up a time. He came buy just as we set up. We discussed what I was in need. The project was not going to be as simple as installing the stairs. The original opening was only 18 x 24. So the ceiling would need to be opened wider. But to put more concern was a old attic fan that was installed above of the ceiling and that would need to be removed. Jack came back with an estimate within a day. The price was satisfactory to me. We set up a date to begin the work, Joe and Ed arrived as scheduled and began the demolition. They covered all areas being walked on and all furniture that might be impacted by dust. They were both very professional and explained every step all the way. The project was completed just what I needed and it looked just the way I thought. They cleaned up the area making sure that I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend ATI Services be cause they were great. I look at SOC (service, outcome and cost) and look for a balance. They hit the mark on all three.

From the very first day of demolition to the last day of finishing touches, everything went really well. Everyone who worked on this project did a great job. Any problems that came up were taken care of very quickly. Any changes that we wanted to make, were smoothly incorporated into their workflow. The work was completed within the time frame that had been discussed at the outset of the project. My husband and I had been working on the redesign of our kitchen for a couple of years and had finally decided that this was the year to have it done. Our house was built in 1965 and the kitchen cabinets and built-in oven were the originals, which means they were definitely ready to be replaced! Now that everything has been redone, our kitchen is modern, extremely functional, and exactly what we envisioned. I think that was one of the really nice aspects of working with ATI Services. They understood that we had a definite vision for how we wanted our kitchen to be and our goals became their goals. There were a number of things that we needed to work out as we went along, and it became that - working together as a team to find solutions to the problems. I would definitely hire ATI Services for any other remodeling projects that we might have. It was very difficult to be without a kitchen for six weeks, so that part, in itself, was stressful. Working with a great group of people, who were always pleasant, courteous, and professional, made it much easier than I ever thought that it would be. This is the second time we have used Jack and his team. The first time they removed all the popcorn ceiling in the house we had just purchased and they did a fantastic job with that. This time we had an air conditioning pipe leak in the ceiling and because of the water damage, a large hole opened in the master bedroom closet ceiling. We also got estimates for the work listed above so we could get it all done at the same time. Joe and Eddie were the ones that performed the work and they were nothing but polite and professional. I was actually out of town when the work was being done (my daughter oversaw everything) and I could not believe how great everything looked when I got back! First class craftsmanship at a reasonable price. I highly recommend ATI services for whatever home improvements or repairs that you need.

My fiance and I noticed the floors in our half bath were wet on a Tuesday evening and, having used ATi before, I sent Jack Z an email asking him to call me as soon as he could the next day. Around 7am my phone rang and Jack had already contacted both a plumber and a dry out service and sent them to my home to stop the leak and start drying everything out. We ended up having a pinhole leak just above our foundation and elected to get the house replumbed instead of patching the hole. Jack was able to connect us with an amazing plumber who had our whole home replumbed in 4 days at a reasonable price. Once the house was dry and replumbed, I worked with ATi to get the inside repaired... Jack came to our home and took lots of photos and provided us with a comprehensive estimate a couple of days later. The estimate was so good, our insurance company accepted it and the photos alone and was able to approve our claim and cut a check. Throughout October we had vacations and visitors to dance around and ATi was very accommodating. James came in first to fix all the holes in the drywall from the damage. He was done in just a few days and address all concerns quickly and efficiently. James also repainted the walls and pulled up the old flooring. They were able to pull everything up and lay everything else down without having to really move the furniture that much. The flooring guys (I don't remember their names!) were the nicest guys. They had our entire floor completely reset in only a day and half. They were extremely clean and also were able to move around our furniture. We didn't have to move a thing. Then Joe and Eddie (the same guys who painted our new home) completed the trim, molding, and final wall painting. They were also quick and so very nice. Through this entire thing, we were in contact with Jack from ATi. He would return a call, text, or email within a couple of hours. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found ATi. Jack Z and the guys really rescued us and our new floors look beautiful - much better than the old ones! Thank you!!!

This is the second time I have used Jack Z.'s company ATI and I'm sure it won't be my last. They are professional from start to finish. They show up on time, they work diligently all day, clean up when the day is done and start right back over the next day. They stay on top of any sub-contractors they hire, if something isn't going well they don't hesitate to make it right no matter what the cost to themselves. I've worked with Ed, Ryan and Joe, they are all very meticulous and it shows in the finished product. Until next time ATI, keep up the great customer service and dedication to just being the best you can be.

From initial consultation to project completion, ATi was nothing but responsive, prompt, professional, and on the mark when it came to doing the right things right. Being single and with a very demanding job, I honestly don't have the time, energy or know-how to do ANY of the things the team did on my behalf. It was delightful to literally hand the keys to Jack and know the work would be supervised, done and done well, with my home and my belongs respected (and yes, even the cats!). I wasn't disappointed. I need to give a shout out to the crew, Eddie, Dale and James, who did a superb job with the painting. And it was a tough job too, with those darned 24' walls in the family room. They took down some dreadful 11' drapes and patched everything up so one would never tell there was a beastly decorative element there. Knowing I would also be having the carpet replaced, they cut out the carpet by the baseboard and painted the entire length so when the new carpet went in, it wouldn't have that funny paint line you get when you replace ratty carpet. And, I came home to a house already cleaned up for the day, too -- no construction mess. I have to give a shout out to Ed as well, who came in after the fact and fixed a couple of the little punch-list type items I was a tad fussy on. To be honest, one of the best decisions I made was act on Jack's suggestion to paint a side wall in an accent color - I LOVED that simple touch. Insightful to my style. Decorator-y. Perfectly Perfect. How cool! It was the little things like that, that make ATi the go-to team for home painting and remodeling. Jack said one week to do the work; it was one week. Jack said, no problem, we can do that for you. It was done. All in all, this has been the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a contractor, general or otherwise, and I would absolutely not hesitate to use ATi again...which will be soon as I'm dreaming up a remodel of my master bath. :)

Throughout the entire process, Jack and his crew were friendly, helpful and entirely willing to do the job well. They also answered all my questions related to the job including giving me sound advice as to what and how things should best be done. Jack was very helpful and patient with the granite shopping and choosing process, which I found very challenging. Once the decisions had all been made, the work was started on time. Jack's team always met their appointed times, got the work done and did a great job of cleaning up after each day. I had requested a specific end date to the work and Jack's team were able to meet that date easily. It was always easy to reach Jack and/or his team when I needed them. Everyone was great to work with and I would be happy to recommend ATi to all my friends and family. I am extremely happy with my new kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you Jack & team!!!

My wife and I removed the original wallpaper that the builder installed. Unfortunately, and I think typically, the builder had the wallpaper applied over improperly prepared walls. As a result of removing wallpaper the drywall surface paper was damaged beyond the point of being able to just apply texture and paint. Jack was one of the most professional people that I have called on to perform work on our house. Prompt, with a reasonable quote (lower bid of the three quotes) and also provided, without asking, insurance and reference documentation. I called his insurance company and references to confirm. User comments on Angie's List helped in selecting ATI. The one thing that I was uncomfortable with was providing 1/2 the money up front in order to get on the schedule for the work. If the job were larger I think I would have asked for an escrow or some other mutually satisfactory method of payment. The job required skimming the walls twice, sanding with equipment that captured the dust, applying orange peel texture to the walls and finally, painting with a primer. This was a large multi-room job requiring a tall step ladder to reach the areas in the kitchen and living room that extended to 15". They also repaired multiple areas in the large skylight tunnels in the kitchen and master bathroom. The crew, Joe, James and Dale were prompt, courteous and professional. We were happy to see that they left the job site clean at the end of each day. It is nice to be rid of all wallpaper in the house. When quoting the original job, Jack also provided a quote for a master bathroom makeover and also made design suggestions that were helpful. We are considering in the near future having ATI do this work as well.

Our house is almost 45 years old and as such, has challenges for renovation work. The team at ATI Services were extremely professional and easy to work with. Joe, who headed up the ceiling work, is a master craftsman. He clearly takes great pride in his work and it shows. We were extremely happy with how the ceiling turned out. Weeks after the job was completed, a small problem arose and Joe returned to attend to it. There are often surprises in older houses when the walls are "peeled back". Such was the case with our shower stall. The removal of the old, original tile turned into a brutal task that took longer than expected. Ed, who supervised the work, was always willing to listen and act on any concerns. David worked consistently on the tile work and was always punctual and focused on getting the job done. Overall, we are pleased with the results. Jack, who owns the company is easy to work with and responsive. We would definitely hire ATI Services again.

I hired ATI Services to finish up some DIY work I had started and no longer have the time to work on myself. We left Jack a voicemail over a weekend letting him know we'd like to get a quote for finishing some drywall for us. We got a call from him the next morning letting us know he'd be in the area. The quote was reasonable and included taping, mudding, priming, and texturing the drywall. We got lucky on timing and they were able to start work early the next week. Eddie and James were on time, pleasant to be around, did a great job, and even cleaned up after themselves. The first thing they did was cover the entire floor of the room they were working in as well as a path from that room to an exterior door to minimize tracking dirt around the house. They finished most of the taping & mudding the first day and finished the priming and texture by lunch the next day. I was expecting 3-4 days of work, but they were done in a day and a half. They were fast but nothing looks rushed, it looks better than I thought it would. I look forward to hiring them to take care of some additional renovations for us very soon.

I needed a fair amount of work done quickly. ATI's prices were not as competitive as another contractor but they would have required a 4 week wait to start work. I believe their pricing structure is fair with respect to other companies that specialize in remodeling, but not as competitive as smaller companies. There was some minor touch up to the garage painting after the initial work and I would have liked to have had a better surface prep. That being said, the surface prep was not called out in detail in the work order, so ATI did meet their contractual obligations. Jack Z was very responsive and the crew was great. Would hire again.

Ryan and his team arrived promptly in fact was there waiting before I had even returned from dropping my son off at school. Ryan and his team member wish I could remember his name were very professional . He went over everything that was going to be done per the proposal. Ryan and team very careful covering and protecting everything as to not damage anything. They kept me informed on the progress as it was being performed. I would definitely recommend Ryan and ATI services for any future work. 110% satisfied. Top notch team of professionals.

This was an unusually positive experience. Jack gave us an estimate for repairs and replacements of kitchen cabinets and countertops in our beach condo. Unfortunately, one of his service people put several scratches in our kitchen wallpaper. Jack immediately called us and said he would send someone out to replace all of our wallpaper at his expense. He followed through, and he called us several times to be sure we were happy with the results. Then, after our counters were installed, our dishwasher failed. It was delivered and the installer said he couldn't install without taking out tile. We called Jack, and he sent his person out. They were able to install the dishwasher without tearing out any tile. Jack had told us the additional price for the dishwasher would be about $250. I don't generally like estimates, and when it was a difficult job, I was afraid that the price would be significantly higher. Jack called to tell us he wouldn't charge anything. This is a company that really cares about customer service.

Jack from ATI Services made the estimate and stuck by it - the work was excellent, wood floors repaired and walls/baseboards finished to blend with surroundings. Also completed a number of more minor items including some drywall repairs, hanging a mirror, fixing a light, etc. I was impressed by the professionalism - crew cleaned-up everyday and had good suggestions when somethng went awry with the plans (as they often do). Communication was excellent, professional and prompt. Ryan on the ATI team was great. Good experience all-around, would absolutely recommend to others and use again.

I attempted to secure an estimate from Jack Zolnierowski. He has excellent reviews on Angies List. I called and the initial conversation went well. I described the work I wanted completed, he asked for all my contact info, and we set a date for him to come out. Thought things were going well, until he asked for my budget... I did not want to give my budget out for fear of over estimating the costs. He said it could be "as much as $50,000", I said no problem, if that is what it costs than that's what it costs and asked if he would still come out for an estimate. He said he would not be out until I told him what my budget for this work is. I stated I was taking multiple quotes and that I am looking for the best value, not the lowest price. I wanted someone who was good at what they do and am willing to pay for it but that I will not be discussing my budget for this project. He said that he is busy enough to not need anymore work and that he does not want to waste his time. We ended the call. I have had three contractors come out and give quotes without disclosing my budget. Yes they have all asked for it, but did not require it for the estimate. I am new it at this and this is my first major renovation. I, however, do not understand why my budget would determine the outcome of an estimate.

My wife and I recently had a good amount of work done by ATI Services to a home we purchased in Odessa, FL and are very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of everyone we dealt with. Jack Z (the owner of ATI) is excellent to work with and has a great reputation in the business. He was easy to deal with and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The estimates for work he gave were indeed in line with the final price - no surprises. We were even more impressed by the team that worked in our home. All of them including Ed, Joe, Ryan, Cyrus, Eddie and Dale were terrific. All of the work was done with impeccable quality and we felt very comfortable having all of the guys in our house. In addition to doing the work well, they recommended ideas to us (all of which did not add cost to the project) and helped us choose paint colors and tiles -- well beyond what their jobs were. The perfectionists in them made them stay late one Friday evening to ensure everything was right. Everyone arrived on time as scheduled, worked diligently, and cleaned up every evening prior to leaving. ANY future work we have in the house will DEFINITELY go through ATI. We are beyond pleased with their work, timeliness and professionalism.

Jack Z was great to work with. Jack returned my call within an hour or two and was right on time for the appointment for an estimate. We received a folder with copies of all the insurance, worker's comp and license forms for us to keep. He gave us so much confidence in ATI that we did not look for another estimate. The estimate was either sent that afternoon or first thing the next day. Very professional and personable at the same time. The job was excellent! Ryan and Dale were first to come on Monday to tape off the walls and cover everything, including the tile flooring from one room to the other with wide heavy duty paper runner. The room floors were covered with heavy drop cloths. We have a king size bed in one of the rooms and they were able to build a platform to reach the ceiling so the bed did not need to be dismantled, much to our liking! They were right on time, 8:00 AM, and got right to work. They had the ceilings done and ready for re-texturing by 3:30. On Tuesday, Ryan and Dale were first to come. They were even a little early, ok with us! They proceeded to touch up the existing drywall on the ceilings to prepare them for the new texture. Ed came a little later to apply the texture and the knockdown came out beautiful. We have knockdown on the walls from 25 yrs ago and Ed did a great job of blending all the textures. Not only was the job done to our pleasure, all 3 of the men were a pleasure to have in our home. They cleaned up each night and Tuesday when the job was done, even our front sidewalks were hosed off. Ryan made a special point to leave a nice clean line between the new ceiling texture and the walls so when I painted (I like to paint which is why we only had them paint the ceilings) and when I did the cutting in between the ceiling and the walls, it was so nice and easy and clean. Ryan also gave a few pointers on patching up the dinged up corners on the existing knockdown and it worked great. We look forward to having them back next year when our next project, master bathroom, is tackled.

From the moment I called Jack was responsive and we set up a time for him to come and provide an estimate very quickly. He left his certifications and licensing papers with me to assure me that I could trust him and his crew. I had the estimate only hours after he looked at what needed to be done. I set up my appointment for the work to be done and I was traveling for work on the day the crew was coming. My sister let them in and they had a lock box put on my door. They completed the work in less than three days and it was beautifully done. The painting was amazing and perfect. Two days after the work was completed, Ed came back to do a walk thru with me and to make sure I was happy with the work he and his team had done. I was extremely happy with not only the work but the level of professionalism this company provides. I now have a team of home professionals I know I can trust and rely upon whenever I need something done at my home. Thank you!

I had to replace carpet in a rental property out of the area. Jack & his team were great with communication, flexibility, punctuality and quality. I would definitely use them again!

We are very happy with ATI Services and will preface this review by saying we are probably the most particular customers Jack has ever had. Though this review will be long, it will be worth reading. We had a wood floor damaged by a plumbers mistake, and had numerous large square cut-outs of drywall to be repaired. We contacted five drywall companies via email with pictures attached to obtain quotes, and Jack was the only person to immediately contact us and actually come to our house to meet. Only two other companies responded via email and their prices were much higher than Jack and had no detail at all. Upon arrival, Jack showed us his credentials, insurance, etc. and was extremely professional. We didn't know it, but found out he could also remove our wood floor and install tile. He was prompt to provide quotes for the work and helped us obtain an additional $1,000 from the plumber's insurance company by calling and explaining his quote to the insurance agent. We had the drywall repaired first, and it took a little time before he could schedule it, but on the day of work Ryan and Joe showed up on time and were quick to start the project. Ryan and Joe are clean cut and super personable, we were very impressed. They laid down rolled paper in all areas where they were walking and took care to prevent the drywall orange peel spray from hitting areas outside of the repair. They finished the job in one day, which consisted of 16 cut-outs, the largest being 44 inches by 12 inches. When finished, they cleaned everything up and made sure we were happy with the final product. The tile project consisted of removing around 450 sq. ft. of hardwood floor in one room/closet, and installing approximately 970 square feet of hardwood ceramic tile in three rooms and two closets. We supplied the tile and grout, and we decided to add 3x24 inch tiles to the 6x24 inch that he had quoted to install. He was very fair and the additional cost was $250. He quoted just a bit higher at first, but was very reasonable and agreed to do it for the fee we requested. On top of that, we had the tiles off-set from each other, which added another level of detail to the job. Scheduling took a little time as Jack had to coordinate with his subcontractors but we were pleased he fit us in two weeks sooner than originally estimated. On the first day, we were surprised and happy to see Ryan arrive on time as we didn't expect to see him again. He was quick to start removing the baseboards and the floor removal company showed up on time and went right to work. The floor company had two workers and the owner also showed up and helped! We thought this was going to be an all day event, they were in and out in four hours! They used a riding machine and did not have to score the wood to remove it. They also placed plastic sheeting at all openings to ensure dust containment and protected our French doors. The threshold on our front entryway doors was damaged from the machine riding over it, but this was due to dry rot and we did not expect them to repair it. However, Ryan took it upon himself to make the repair and the seal is better than before! On the day of the first room to be tiled, Ryan showed up on time at 8:00. However, the only reason I am giving a B rating on punctuality is because the two tile workers didn't show up until 11:00 (they said they had bought the wrong thin set and had to return it). They made quick progress and finished the 450 sq ft room in approximately 3 days. The day before the grout was to be placed Jack made a surprise visit to inspect and make sure we were happy with the progress. After the grout was applied, we noticed that instead of being the dark chocolate we expected, it was lighter and had numerous areas of white streaks. It was a Laticrete 1500 tri-poly fortified sanded grout. We wrongly suspected it was an error caused by improper preparation and/or application. I have to be honest, we suspected this because the tile crew was not following the Laticrete slaking instructions and didn't allow the grout to set the minimum amount of time before sponging it. So when they returned after a week to complete the other two rooms, we put Ryan and Jack through the ringer to ensure the guys followed instructions. Well, the grout started showing white streaks again, but not as much. So we contacted Jack and he was extremely professional and promised they would make it right and had the owner of the tile install company come to our house to speak to his workers (they only spoke Spanish with some broken English). This time around, Ryan and I both watched the process and Ryan even prepared the grout and applied it using distilled water (to eliminate the potential it was hard water causing the issue). On top of that, there was no thin set in the grout lines which could leach into the grout. When it dried, once again some white streaks. I called Jack to inform and apologize for being a pain. He was extremely professional and never once did he dispute us. We tested an area of the grout with Sulfamic acid and it worked great to remove the whiteness and darken the grout. I was surprised that either Ryan or Jack at one point offered to have the tile guys acid wash the grout, but we didn't feel that would be ethical since it was not their fault. Near the end of the project, the tile guys were starting to grout over freshly laid tile and I told Ryan I did not want them to do that, so they came back the next day to finish. In summary (finally right), Jack and his crews were all very professional and I highly recommend them to everyone. Ryan is a young guy, but mature way beyond his age. I work with contractors weekly in my industry and I have never dealt with a better contractor! They are worth the money for sure.

Ed arrived promptly at 8 AM, and worked diligently throughout the day. Everything went smoothly until the very end, when we discovered that an external electrical box prevented attachment of the last shutter to our brick exterior. Ed offered a way to chain the shutter to the house and returned the next business day to finish the job. Fortunately, my husband was able to remove the electrical box, so that Ed could easily hang the last shutter when he returned. Again, we were very pleased with the work provided by ATI Services.

This was our first remodel and we were a little anxious about the process. Jack from ATI services was my first estimate. He provided me with some great info. I called 3 other companies and they all told me something different and were much higher in price. Jack explained the entire process and was true to his word with scheduling. We ended this project with brand new custom cabinets, new counter tops, new sink/faucet, and a new bathroom drawer. The other companies were about $5,000 more for just refacing the cabinets!! He has a phenomenal team. David, Joe, Ryan, and Ed were very respectful and pleasant to be around. They were prompt every day and cleaned up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend them and look forward to using them in the future.

They did a fantastic job. Very impressed with the man who did the work. He was very neat, respectful, professional, and courteous. ATI Services were very responsive and made sure to keep her in the loop. The technician called the day of service to let them know when to expect him and called when he was on his way. Happy that he was in and out. Would recommend to friends and family.
