They were very pleasant to work with. I would definatly recomend them to other.

Floor of the shower does not slope properly and consequently the shower does not drain well. Also "highly recommended" a general contractor to do the rest of the bathroom remodel since they only the did the plumbing part. Never again! They were the worst. Think Alvarez must get a kickback from the GC. Wish we had gone someone else who can do the entire remodel from start to finish.

I used them before. They are professional and came on time. They were great.

They were punctual, friendly, and very helpful. The pricing was very reasonable.

Jody was our contact person and he did a great job in communicating with us and coordinating the crews. We renovated 2 bathrooms as part of a major house renovation. They worked with us to make sure the staging of the demolition and installation of the new bathroom fixtures coordinated with the other work being done in the rooms. During the course of the house renovation we learned we had a flow issue with our sewage. Jody was able to provide us with a quote and perform the work quickly so it did not impact us and our routines.

Excellent work! They did what they said they were going to do and then some. They installed c-pvc pipes, tied them down, and insulated them. They were neat, on time, and on price. I would recommend them to anyone.

The plumber called in route and got there about 45 minutes later as he was driving from about 30 miles away. My husband had stopped by earlier to lift up the bricks where the leak was, so the plumber had easy access to the leak. Plumber determined that the line had been crimped by a cinder block when we built the addition 18 yrs. ago and had eventually succumbed to rust at the bend. He was able to knock out enough block to do the work, but not so much that it was visible above the paver brick, which was nice. I think there was some soldering involved and he was out within an hour-and-a-half. The bill came to $181 which I think broke down to $80/hr plus $60 to come to site.

my advise is to call the plumber first before knocking holes in yout walls. I was headed with my hammer to the bathroom tile when I stopped and called Alvarez. Thank goodness

We needed a hose bib for our backyard as we are installing a pool and there was no connection in our backyard. We had also been having a lot of clogging in our two downstairs toilets. Also, one of our master bathroom sinks had the stopper break. Steve came out and gave an estimate on the hose bib while I was out. He was not able to give an estimate on the inside work. After having another plumber come out and give an estimate on all the work, I called Alvarez back and got quotes over the phone. I was told at that time the quote might increase if the stoppage was "bad." Apparently, getting on top of the roof increased the price a bit as they had to go down a 75 ft. stack. Overall, I was impressed with the two guys that came out to do the work. They were polite, professional, and courteous of my interior(they put on booties every time they came indoors). The price did partly increase because of the replacement of the fill valve in the toilet.

They were very good. They did a good job. It wasn't a perfect experience but they corrected their problems. They were very punctual. It took a lot longer than we both thought. More evasive steps had to be taken. It was a lot of work. They covered the job properly. Overall they did good work.

I thought about tackling these problems myself, but decided to stick with my policy of no-plumbing-no-electrical. So I called Alvarez Plumbing this morning. To my surprise, they were able to schedule the service for today. The plumber arrived on time. He was very professional (handshake, business card, booties to cover shoes while working inside). He assessed the problems, gave me an estimate, I agreed to the work, then he started fixing things. The only question was what he would find when he took apart the kitchen faucet. As it turned out, the problem simply required removing some calcium deposits and oiling all the parts of the faucet. The tub was also a simple fix (tighten up several places, re-caulk). The plumber was done in two hours. Very easy. I would definitely use them again.

They were good and they were less expensive. They showed up on time and were very professional. I would hire them again and recommend them as well. They were honest.

Overall, it went well. Plumber arrived on time, was professional, and did work in allotted time. Older condo was a bit tricky, so required solid knowledge and experience. Fixture did leak, though a call to Alvarez brought a plumber on site that evening to fix...it was a "bad" fixture and I do not hold this against them. Everyone I spoke to or worked with at the company was very professional and responsive.

The moment the salesmen (note not plumber) came to my home. He had spoke of how he just finished his 2nd replacement of a toilet. He had not even made it to our bathroom and he was speaking how I should expect to get it replaced. He then spoke of how bad builders toilets aways are. He then try to sell me a $600 new bowel and he can do it now. Then he tried to sell me a plan if there was a problem with the new toilet. Now that is service.

Alvarez Plumbing responded to an emergency call after hours for us. Our back-flow device for our well was run over and water was pouring out onto the street. Alvarez sent a plumber (unfortunately I don't recall the gentleman's name) within 20 minutes and the repair was completed. The plumber was extremely nice and understanding. Although we were charged after-hour fees, we were pleased they were able to respond so quickly.

EXCELLENT! PUNCTUAL, FAST, PROFESSIONAL. EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND CONSIDERATE. CLEANED UP VERY THOROUGHLY AFTER THE JOB. THEY MADE SURE WE HAD WATER EVERY EVENING (A THREE-DAY JOB). DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. P.S. WE RE-HIRED THEM FOR A SMALL ADDITIONAL JOB AND THE ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT - WE WERE NOT TOLD THEY CHARGE FOR TRAVEL TIME. STILL, DID A GREAT JOB.

WORK PROCEEDED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND FAIR.
