+ -1 moreDo no0t give them business other than installation of plants. In retrospect the irrigation mods went well because we were on hand and able to do a walk through with the installer who did a good job.
Description of Work: Initially a great company to do business with. They did installation of new plants very well, sub-contracted additions to the irrigation system and then were supposed to mow, edge, trim brush, and weed throughout each month. 1. Stopped supervising their day labor almost instantly after the installation was complete. These guys had no clue. 2. Mowed lawn way, way too short and left uneven spots.3. Wanted to keep mowing weekly even during a drought--money first and quality care way below second.4. Banged up an expensive lawn ornament with the mower but sup[ervision never knew. They did offer to pay after we pointed it out.\5. We threatened to fire them and they asked for another chance and gave us alist of their woes--unprofessional. Would they want to hear my woes and excuses should I be unable to pay them? 6. My wife gave them another chance and they did not weed about 75% of the ornamental beds, mowed unevenly and continued to neglect many of the sprinkler heads when edging. If you can afford the time to supervise their work in detail and speak good Spanish then maybe these are teh guys for you. Clearly they don't speak good Spanish and most of their day laborers don't speak English--so how are theswe guys going to be able to follow instructioons? If I have to stand over them and supervise I can just as easily do the work myself and do it better.

+ -1 moreI pay him monthly and he maintains my lawn. He has been very dependable and he gets out and does all the work! The yard looks nice, and I don't really have to do anything to keep it up. He does a great job!
