Work Completed Date: April 28, 2011 Hire Again: No Approximate Cost: $2,800.00 Description Of Work: We'd contracted him to do window replacements and install a front door, a glass front/screen door and front bay window replacement. Member Comments: Dave came over, the owner, and we discussed what options we wanted on the windows. He said he'd prepare a contract and needed full payment up front to order materials. After going back and forth we went with a higher, Anderson window that cost a little bit more money from the recommendations we got from Lowe's and BBB and AL. Also the time period he gave us fit better in our schedule. We gave him partial payment after getting the contract. I signed and kept a copy of the contract. He came a month and a half later. His people showed up to put windows in and he showed up later to check on the work. He took one of the people with him. The windows still aren't fully installed. They are missing flashing and the molding on the house haven't been put back in place. We've tried to get a hold of him since August to get the jobs complete. He solicitted us for the bay window and front door payments. He came in September to put in front window and storm door and said he'd come to finish the rest of the work. At that point he received more money to put bay window in which was another $1200.00 from us. Which he never came back to finish at all. All the phone lines are disconnected and we are unable to make contact with him. We've called Lowe's who told us they'd terminated their relationship with them. At this point we put in a police report and we'd called another number we didn't have and left a message. It was his private phone. He also took $4000.00 from my in-laws for window replacements but was never to be seen again. We put in our police report to document it. New Hampshire has strict guidelines for this kind of behavior. We'd like the windows because the bay window is falling off the house. We're in the process of looking for him so we can get this project completed. Concerns? Please tell us! Work Completed Date: September 05, 2011 Hire Again: No Approximate Cost: $36,983.00 Description Of Work: Mr. Iverson came to us initially to put a deck on the backside of our house. We signed a contract and he performed as he said he would. The deck was finished in an appropriate time.( There are issues with the deck boards raising at this time). Mr. Iverson knew we were renovating our kitchen and asked to bid on it. We signed a contract at the end of May for $33,150. We first gave him $16,575 per contract which was 50% of the contract money which was going to be used to purchase cabinets and granite given to him June 4th 2011. We picked out our cabinets and granite. We were over budget and gave him an upgrade check for $8,208 on 8th 2011. At this point we were waiting on the cabinets to come in. We asked him to replace an existing deck. We had a verbal agreement of $16,000 on that deck. At that point we decided to purchase our cabinets at $10,000 and use the money we had given him to pay for the start up of the deck. After framing the deck, the cabinets arrived. Mr. Iverson proceeded to demo the kitchen. The Demo was started the last week of July. After attempting to open a wall that was supposed to come down, Mr Iverson stated that there were unforseen additional cost to the sum of $7,200. That check was paid to him on August 2nd, 2011. The subcontractors work wa started in the wall. We have since found out that Peter Lacroix from Litchfeild New Hampshire( Mr Iverson owes him for two other jobs at a total of $3,000), the Electrician, Shane Johnson LSJ Electrical and Brooksde Mechanical, the AC company were never paid. Mr Iverson next asked to pay the next payment of 25% which was not supposed to be payed out until after the electrical, plumbing and drywall was roughed. He told us he needed to pay his workers. An additional check of $5,000 was given to Mr. Iverson on JUly 26th., 2011. Mr Iverson has not been in contact with me since September 5th. He has signed an agreement that he has abandoned this project. We have paid him $36,983 dollars and left us with a framed deck and a demolished kitchen. He walked with a substantial amount of our money.I write this hoping this does not happen to anyone else. Member Comments: See the above. Review Photos: This is the condition of the... Description of Work: Below you will find reviews of Mr Iverson and his business in Hooksett New Hampshire, Iverson Properties. The Second review is mine. Mr. Iverson sadly stole over thirty thousand dollars from us that we have been unable to recoup. I warn anyone doing or considering doing business with Mr. Iverson. All Reviews loading faq... The owner promised a rebate to make the sale as I was unable to afford the windows at the quoted price. It has been 3 months and still no rebate. I have called several times and they will not return phone calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they are very dishonest. I think the next step will be the state attorney general and the better business bureau. Buyers BEWARE of any promises they make to get you to buy there product ! They finally made things right. The product is very good.
