THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. IF YOU WANT YOUR PROPERTY AND FURNITURE DESTROYED WHILE BEING TREATED LIKE TRASH, THEN HIRE THESE MOVERS. This was the worst moving experience we have ever had. We hired All My Sons Moving from the Tampa location to move us from our single-story, four-bedroom home into a three-story townhouse. We were very upfront about what we needed and expected. We were given a quote and paid our deposit. On the day of the move, three guys showed up late, and we were promised four guys originally. We were told it would take approximately 4 hours to load the truck with the one-hour drive time and approximately 5 hours to unload for 10 hours. It took almost nine hours to load the truck, then an hour's drive to the new place. Once they arrived at the townhouse, we were told to pay in full, or they would not unload the truck. We spent the remainder of what we owed, and they began unpacking, only to find multiple pieces of furniture broken beyond repair, and then the movers became agitated and frustrated. They started cursing and became reckless with our items and the new townhouse. They caused $1800 worth of damage to the walls with holes, sheetrock pulled off, trim broken and paint destroyed. The more damage they caused, the worse their attitudes became. They then decided they would not move anything else into the townhouse and filled our garage and storage area with the remainder of the truck. This was approximately 3/4 of our boxes, furniture, and belongings. My husband and I are both disabled and unable to lift, so this left us in a horrible situation. We contacted the management team in Tampa and got zero help with this situation. We did file a claim for the monetary damages and have yet to receive a dime. We also had to hire another company to send movers to the townhouse to remove the damaged furniture and move the remaining items upstairs into our unit. This company doesn't even deserve one star and should be shut down. We will continue to tell people our story and experience with the company to save someone else from this nightmare.

I hired them to move my mother's furniture from Assisted Living. Minimal furniture and no boxes. It should have taken less than the 2 hr min because the move was 10 min away. The movers were a 55yr old man and 57 yr old woman. Obviously they were slower so it took over 3 hrs. The last item to be moved was a couch. It wouldn't fit in the elevator but as we weren't keeping it, I asked if they could put it on a blanket and push it down the stairs. They said they were too old to deal with it and left it in the hallway. We when called to complain, we were told they could send out another team, but would charge the 2 hr min, 1 hr trip charge and 18% surcharge all over again. I had to hire another company to remove it

Professionals PLEASE READ!: ***This review is not to bash because we (the companies we own) support business owners in big ways. Itâ s to make the consumers aware so you may make an informed decision when it comes to hiring movers****** Let me state the facts first: 1. a good amount of my items were damaged and when notified I was told nothing would be done because a magic additional bill for me appeared that just so needed to be paid before I could submit a claim. 2. Scheduled the move for the last day of my storage contract so we could move into our house after settlement unfortunately 3 out of the 2 movers quit(extremely out of shape) with the move taking too long bc it was 4th of July weekend. My items then had to stay in the storage an extra day with the other half the items still loaded in a truck until the next day. This threw my schedule off big time. 3. Talk is cheap until it transcribes on paper. I was told due to that inconvenience my bill would be adjusted and it looked like it was until I reported some items being damaged. Iâ m not sure how an additional $100 was added to an account that had 3 movers quits, damaged items, was asked to help the movers move items if I wanted it completed the day of contract, and had to rectify the additional storage day bc items werenâ t moved. Before the last mover left the job he kept saying â boss we are going to make sure this gets done if I have to stay here all nightâ , yet he still did not complete job and I gave him an extra tip for being so diligent literally right before he then walked off to enjoy the holiday weekend saying boss this isnâ t worth it! 5. If you want to be freed from the headache of moving this company is not the right choice. As a business owner of many businesses I had more conversation and problem solving that made it to me as if I was the owner of this company myself. ****my experience was SO HORRIBLE I will make sure to post this on every review platform**** And for all my sonâ s Iâ ve read your other bad reviews and have seen the false written attempts to rectify. You know how to reach me XXXX I will say the crew in the second day did a great job. They should have been the initial crew.

******** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! SCAM!!!************ We hired All my sons to move a 1 bedroom apartment, We had around 12 cardboard boxes, 6 totes, a bed, a couch, and a coffee table, it filled around 1/4 of the truck. The quote was for $539. The movers were EXTREMELY slow, it took them 3 hours to load those listed items. When they arrived at the new place which was around 20 minutes away, the driver presented us with a new quote of $1,357, close to 3x the price. We did most of the moving to speed things along, and were constantly waiting for them to get things off the truck while we took it from the truck to the 3rd floor ourselves. We cut an hour off the estimate, and the movers then sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes repacking in order to meet the time quota so that we were charged the full rate. I called to complain, but no one seemed to really care. one of our best drivers I have moved many times and never seen a scam like this! I would take my business elsewhere!

I hired All My Sons to move furniture from my previous apartment to a new apartment approximately 1 mile apart, on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. After finding them on Angi's, they called me right away to schedule me for my move-out weekend, approximately 1 month in advance. At the time of booking, I was informed that they would reach out to me when the move date came closer in order to solidify a time that day. As I hadn't heard any update from AMS and my move day was in 48 hours, I reached out to them and was informed that movers would be at my property within the timeframe of 1-4pm. On the day of my move, I had moved all of my large items to the common space of my previous apartment for easy moving. As it was 3:30 PM that day, and I still hasn't seen or heard from the movers, I called AMS. After holding for ~15 minutes, I was able to reach a representative who further looked into my inquiry. He informed me that my local branch of AMS was shut down due to COVID, and that movers would not be available for 3 more business days (which wouldn't work since my move-out date would be prior to this). As this was extremely frustrating, considering nobody had reached out to me to inform me of the matter (and that for any updates, I had to initiate the communication), I was then stuck with last-minute renting a private moving truck and struggling to move all of my furniture with my dad (who shouldn't be exerting himself to this extent). Furthermore, I was then forced to spend the rest of the day scurrying to move out, cancelling dinner plans with my parents who were visiting from out of town. The only positive I can identify was how quickly they refunded my deposit. From prior reviews, I would expect my experience was likely an anomoly, however I'll never consider AMS for moving in the future.

They will low-ball you. I wish I could upload images of the estimate and the actual invoice. All-in-all the service was good. The movers were professional and worked hard. If you want to understand how they bill, read-on: 1) They will bill you an hourly rate of $50.00 per hour per person. That means for 3 people it is $150.00/hr. Pretty reasonable. HOWEVER, THEY WILL TELL YOU ON THE PHONE THAT YOU GET BlLLED ONLY FOR THE TIME LOADING AND UNLOADING...THIS IS NOT TRUE. You WILL get billed for every hour from the time they show up until the time they leave, including travel time, breaks, lunch time and an extra 45 minutes of padding on the end. 2. In our case we moved a standard 2 bedroom home with typical furniture. We disassembled everything ourselves and moved the TV ourselves as well. We were quoted over the phone $150.00/hour and told that would be for 3 hours of labor. We were then quoted 1.5 hours of travel time at a flat rate that would add up to $650.00 total for the whole move. The movers showed up at 9:00am, spent two hours loading, spent almost three hours making a two hour drive (they told us they would stop for lunch), and spent two hours unloading. 3. We were billed $150.00/hr. for 7 hours (from 9:00am to 4:00pm) PLUS an exorbitant fuel surcharge and trip charge. The total was $1489.00! More than double what was quoted over the phone. 4. We paid it. Had they been honest with the billing, we probably would not have used them, but I would not be writing this review on every review site I can find either. Now we will never use them again, and I would be careful if I was you. GET THEIR VERBAL QUOTE IN WRITING! I guarantee they will sing a different song if you do that.

They were 7 hours late, would not unload the truck (held my furniture hostage) until i paid them in full, the Bill was more than what I was quoted. All my furniture was damaged and scratched and dented my appliances. The manager of the store told me it was a Florida Law to have to charge in full before unloaded (a Lie). This store could close as far as I am concern.

The movers were absolutely fantastic. They were quick, efficient in space and time, friendly and talkative, and professional in getting to the right place at the right time. The quoters on the phone were also friendly, but purposefully skipped through a lot of the pricing details. They said things like "don't worry about supplies, the movers will have them" which is true, but they charge you for all of the tape, blankets and covers, which you don't get to keep (which the people on the phone won't tell you unless you ask). The quoters also skipped over the "18% fuel surcharge" until the day before my move. When I pressed them on that detail, they clarified that its 18% above your hourly subtotal, not 18% above the price of fuel they use. Its a frankly slimy way to hide the fact that your actual price of service is 18% higher than advertised. I loved the moving service day of, and would hire them again in a heartbeat, so it's frustrating to me that the slimy pricing/selling techniques are making me think twice about using their service again in the future.
