Description of Work: Recently moved to Fl. Called to get air conditioner checked before it gets too hot. They scheduled us for Tuesday between 9-11. When 10 am arrived and had not heard from, we called and said our appt. time changed.NEVER NOTIFIED. I switched hours with a co-worker to be here and they screwed us. MISERABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Not everyone who lives in Florida is retired!!!!

Description of Work: They came out to inspect my AC and said it was a bad fan. I paid them $484 for a new fan motor and they installed it and then said, no, I just needed a new unit. I asked if I would get a credit for my $500 because of a bad diagnoses and they said no and now will not return my calls. Someone else will have to come out and fix the AC unit because I will not use this provider. I am still working to get my money back for something I did not need.

Description of Work: They replaced all of the air ducts for my HVAC system and also maintain the system. Every time they come out to do a check up they always find additional problems.

Description of Work: Gave my appointment to another customer because I was not sitting by my phone all morning and just happened to be outside when they called at 11:10am. My service was supposed to be between 9 and 11 am. I rescheduled but they got the time all confused in the office and didn't show up then. I cancelled my maintenance contract with them and have been waiting for over a month for a refund the was supposed to have been made in 7 days. Beware.

Description of Work: AC stopped working at night, we called and they had someone out within an hour who was polite, efficient and was able to fix the AC. Also provided some recommendation to prevent the problem in the future.

 + -1 moreIt was $69 for them to come out and assess the situation, then fuel charge of $8 and the labor/part was $132. I had to wait for 4 days - slow to respond unless you were an established customer. They immediately said I would have to buy a system within a year because the systems only last about 12 years and ours is 11 years old. He said that a new system would be about $10,000. I am giving them a "C" because they did fix the problem.
Description of Work: Checked a/c system and found that there was a capacitor that was bad - had to replace dual capacitor.

 + -1 moreIt went very well, there was a low pressure sales pitch about an add on. Warnings about various pieces of equipment which Scott later checked and said were okay. He tried very hard to sell us a Membership (insurance) which would give us two cleanings a year. Also we could rely on them to give us special consideration for any emergency. All in all I was pleased with the professionalism and also Scott cleaned up after himself even though I offered. I am used to the sales pitches that most companies give to accept their insurance plans so I had no problem turning this one down.
Description of Work: Scott arrived at the designated appointment time. He invited me to tag along and ask questions. We received a flier which was very complete on the work which was performed. This was cleaning and a check up of the condenser and heat exchanger. Also checked the freon and the air temperatures at the duct outlets.

 + -1 moreFriendliness and responsiveness of service tech is grossly outweighed by price gouging for equipment. Un-be-lievable.
Description of Work: Called to diagnose AC unit that wasn't cooling. Service tech saw that the accumulator was rusted out and estimated $1000 to repair. They recommended not putting the money into a 12 year old unit and offered to replace. Estimate for a basic 3-ton heat pump condenser and handler system was $6000!!! Called supervisor and was told they couldn't do it for less than $5000! (Even as a "gold" customer in their service plan) Bought better units and had them installed with local competition for less than $3000. Unethical price gougers.

 + -1 moreTHE TECHNICIAN NEVER DID ATTEMPT TO FIND SOURCE OF LEAK, WAS ''CONFIDENT'' THAT THE LEAK WAS WHAT PREVIOUS COMPANY TOLD ME. ALSO, LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE TECHNICIAN HAD PUT IN WAY TOO MUCH FREON IN THE SYSTEM.
