They also refused to work with a home warranty. I soon found out the reason they refused is becasue their price was 50% more than the company I used to do the work. In fact they refused to issue an itemized breakdown of the cost to the warranty company as to where the money was all going. Thus the good: Great diagnosis and honest in their estimates. The Bad: Way overpriced for their services. Thus a judegement call as to your time value of money. You could do better with the cost of their service; yet you could do much worse.

The U.V. Light installation for your A/C was one of Angie's Big Deals offered. This was something I had wanted installed for quite awhile so as soon as I saw the offer I jumped on it. I called Air Masters on Friday which was the first day of the offer and schedualed the job for the next Monday.. Jack arrived right on time and went right to work. He did a great job- he was very meticulous and also very neat. He had to make a few adjustments in my unit as it is older and very condensed and cramped inside. Jack told me this was the first order for this special and also that my unit was probably the smallest and most cramped he had ever worked on. He was in and out within 2 hours and also looked over my A/C unit and gave me some advice on maintance and filters. I'm very happy with the job and the price was very well worth it. I noticed the cleaner air as soon as I turned on the unit.

I called Air Masters at 4:00 PM on the day after New Years thinking they would schedule my service for later in the week. They were incredibly responsive and the service tech (James) showed up in less than an hour, as promised. James opened the unit and diagnosed the problem all while he was explaining to me how compressors work, pointing out the components and their function. He was incredibly professional, patient with my layman's questions, and got it fixed quickly. Oh yeah, he told me that I have a 5 year warranty on the compressors, and not 2 years like I thought. I have already called them again to look at my other air conditioner (the one they didn't fix). They came out (It wasn't James but again very professional) and diagnosed the problem on that one, again reminding me of the warranty on the compressor. These guys are awesome. Just call them and save yourself a lot of time and money

Everything turned very nicely. They did a very good form. They are absolutely the best AC guys in town.

Did a great job. I observed the entire service call. I am very confident the technician knew what he was doing. I was charged to replace a couple capacitors and the price was about 175% what I could find it on Amazon. I saw the multi-meter showing the capacitor was out of specifications. Although I could had ordered and replaced myself after receiving in the mail, but I OKed the charge, recognizing, the company needs to make money somewhere and it was nice to have the work just finished. Very happy with the service. Would highly recommend.

They were excellent. Juan was thorough and detailed. He explained the steps of his routine. He was very good at educating me on what he was and did do for me. He also gave some long term maintenance tips.

very good customer service. there was a schedule change on their end but they called me right away to tell me the situation and they got another technician out to me the same day. I was very pleased with the service. The technician was knowledgable and only sold me the parts I needed. He did not try to upsell me at all. I got what I needed to keep my units running smoothly. Price was very reasonable.

We found them to not be very cost-effective. We ended up using another company when we needed an Air Conditioner replaced because they bid lower. Their service was good it was just the price.

After our air handler (in attic crawl space) failed and leaked onto our 2nd floor ceiling, We hired Air Masters to replace our 9 year old system with a new Trane HVAC. They were not the cheapest estimate we received; however, Matt seemed honest and professional. They arrived as promised and replaced all of the equipment within a day; however, a wiring issue from the Trane Factory, caused the system to fail. Air Masters put us in a hotel overnight and corrected the problem the next day. I inspected the work with Matt and there were some minor issues with pipe insulation which I was promised would be corrected. The system was inspected and approved by the city and functioned properly for one year. (Note, we've had considerable savings on electric usage) Almost exactly one year later the condensate drain line failed due to an improperly glued PVC connection. it leaked through the improperly installed pipe insulation, causing considerable ceiling and wall damage to our guest bedroom and its furniture. Air Masters immediately responded to our call and fixed the leak but was initially unwilling to accept responsibility. After several weeks of negotiations, Matt and Phillip came to our house, inspected the damage and agreed to cover the costs associated with the leak. I would have preferred to not have had a leak, and Air Masters could have assessed the situation and made amends sooner; however, they did stand by their work. I would recommend them for their professionalism and the overall quality of work, but they should be more responsive to their customers to guard their good reputation.

Called Air Master to investigate one unit blowing warm air. Inspected unit and diagnosed a leak in copper pipe causing freon to leak out. Said that compressor froze due to no freon and either: Need to replace compressor or replace with new unit. While still in driveway I received 4 calls about scheduling an estimate. Called JDK and they arrived one hour later. Told him diagnosis from Air Master. He inspected unit (insisted I be present) and found leak in copper pipe but tested compressor and determined compressor was good. Replaced piped and filled unite with freon, unit runs fine. Seems, from Trane, that unit has a fail safe switch that turns off unit when no freon so avoid freezing of unit. Called Air Master told them the story and also asked why I was charged not only a trip charge ($50) but also an hourly rate while tech was driving to my house. Total time 11/2 hours of which driving time of 40 minutes was included. Was told by representative that they would address this issue during next Monday meeting and get back to me. Haven't heard a word. Update. Air Master did contact me and refunded total cost of service.

Arrived on time, performed all the tests, cleaned the unit and lines and made recommendations for service for better operation.

I called for an appointment and was able to schedule right away. They called early to see if I would accept an earlier appointment for the scheduled day, which I did.They called when the Tech was on the way and James S. arrived shortly. He checked the inside unit and outside unit and noted that the pressure in the air handler was high. He made an adjustment to the blower and rechecked the pressure and it was lower and well with in specified range. He said I should see a difference in my electric bill!! Looking forward to my next electric bill for sure.

I was not pleased with them and had to get someone out later that day. I was exhausted by the end of day. They made the project seem like it was much more than it was and we would be paying way more money.

They did a really good job. They were nice, courteous, and a pleasure to work with.

We would definitely recommend this A/C company. The technician came promptly on time and the company called a half hour in advance to confirm that he was on his way. He defined all of the problems with our two units. On the one unit, we had him to what was necessary. The technician worked very neatly and professionally. We also decided to buy a service contract from this firm for future servicing. All in all we were very pleased.

They are very professional. The technician that came out was very knowledgeable. Their price is reasonable because we will be getting 2 brand new systems installed.

My AC pan in the attic overflowed and caused a leak into my bathroom and closet. I found Air Master's of Tampa Bay on Angie's List and called them on a Saturday night. A technician, Doug, was at my house in about a half hour and took care of the problem. I was thrilled with the quick response time!

Very nice people to work with, I need a routine inspection during their very busy time and they took their time with the inspection and cleaning - I didn't feel as though it was a rush job at all. I would definitely use this company again. Jack was extremely professional and knowledgable. Thank you for coming out so quickly.

I asked the company to keep me informed as to when they would be at the rental home and wanted to see the job progress. They did so to my satisfaction. When the units were completely installed I went with the technician to see for myself. He had taken photos of the duc work which in some cases had been damaged by an animal getting into the attic and chewing on the silver paper around the duc work. Most likely fruit rats as the home has 2 citrus trees in the back yard and the old system had not been closed off where the pipes entered into the attic. He made sure I knew that problem had been taken care of. The technician even got up on the roof while I was there and looked at a couple of places for me as other possible entrance sites. Thankfully we could find none. He gave me a quote for replacing the duc work along with the photos for future reference. When presented with the bill, he had included a $500 rebate given by People's Gas Company for the replacement of a more efficient gas heater. However, he was not aware at the time that the gas was bottled gas for which they do not give a rebate. He did offer to split it with me 50/50. I agreed. So I paid an extra $250 more bringing the total to $4775. However, they had fixed the old unit to run satisfactorily until the new one was installed and did not charge me for that time, part and labor. He told me he would be back after about a week to check for quality control, as he preferred the unit run for a week to make sure everything was working properly before calling the city to let them know it was ready for the city inspector. He had found a kink in the gas line and let me know about that, saying after his technician straightened it out the city would be called. I have not heard further and assume it was passed by the city inspector.

Steve B. arrived on time to inspect our heating and a/c system. He corrected some of the settings on our unit and checked the air flow from every vent in our home. He seemed very knowledgeable, and based on his performance, we purchased an annual service plan... Today, 1 yr later, Jack arrived on time and did a great job performing our annual service, prompting us to renew our agreement.
