My A/C was not cooling on Saturday night, 9/7. I called Air Masters at 11 pm and left a message on their machine which indicated that I would be called back within 15 minutes. I received a call within 10 minutes from a very polite gentleman who assured me a service tech would arrive at 10am Sunday. I received a call Sunday morning telling me the tech was on his way and would arrive by 10am -- and he did!! Tech diagnosed a leak in the coil, which is expensive to repair. Given that I had been advised the previous summer, by a different company, that my 9 year old, builder-grade A/C unit would likely not survive another summer, I knew I was in trouble. Ever hopeful, I did have the system recharged with refrigerant -- just in case I could get more time out of it. Well, I got another 24 hours from it! I called Air Masters on Monday and they had Linda, their comfort advisor (sales consultant) at my house Tuesday morning. Linda was extremely knowledgable about the A/C systems and had all the details about my home --square footage, size of current system, and even took a peek in the attic and at the breaker box. She educated my husband and I about SEER ratings, options, rebates, warranties, etc., and helped us select a new system to meet our needs. There was no high--pressure sales tactics whatsoever. Linda even had a spot cooler delivered to our home within hours so our bedroom would be comfortable until the new system could be installed on Friday. Luckily, our install was moved up a day to Thursday, which happened to be my birthday. (what a great present!) Two installers arrived first thing in the morning and by 4:30pm MY HOUSE WAS COOLING OFF!! They had to rip out the old system, cut some plywood, install the new system, explain the new thermostat to us, etc.. Those guys worked hard all day and were as pleasant as could be. When they left my house there was no trace of them ever being there. They cleaned up every wrapper, box, wire, speck of sawdust -- my yard and garage were spotless! And, Linda stopped by to check on the install and see if we had any questions. She even remembered it was my birthday and brought me a cupcake and an orchid! How very thoughtful! We were impressed with the customer service, professionalism and knowledge of every Air Master's employee that we encountered.

I called at 9 they said they would show up between 12 and 2 which they did. They called before they came. This was a secondary home for us and we were on vacation and transacted everything over the phone with no problem. I would highly recommend them.

Get job and come on short notice a little costly but did the proper job

AC unit was filthy and the serviceman showed us the unit before he cleaned it and afterwards, huge difference. House was smelling musty and now smells clean. Great service.

the whole process went very smooth. scheduling was easy. they showed up on time and were very professional. I called them in because I'd had another vendor out to the house multiple times and the issues just kept coming back. I bought the angie's list coupon which made the cost that much better.

When they came out, they said there was nothing they could do because they claimed it needed to be replaced. They never fulfilled the deal that we purchased.

I was skeptical at first, but finally agreed to go ahead with the purchase of a new unit. The staff were very professional/informative. They gave me the best deal possible. Installation was done well and quicker then I anticipated. They provided me with a lot of information on how to keep my unit running at top condition. Overall I was impressed with the service. They are slightly more expensive than some, but they make up for it in their professional attitudes, attention to detail and knowledge. They were able to answer all the questions I had. Even though I didn't plan on getting a new AC unit. I'm glad I chose these guys.

This company is amazing. I SHOULD HAVE purchased my Trane system from Air Masters in April 2013, but I did not. The OTHER Trane dealer made a mess of everything (bad install, missed and botched resultant service, and broken promises), BUT Air Masters came in and fixed absolutely everything. When purchasing an air conditioning system, think ?dealer/service/stability? at least equally to ?product.? Of course, I moved my Trane Extended Warranty to Air Masters and they are the only people that will be servicing my system now that it works like a charm.

They were really great. They came out at 10 pm at night for me and told me what I needed to do. They ordered the part and within a few days they had it fixed. I even think that the woman I spoke with, Kristen, personally went and picked up the part for me to get the job done quicker. Dave and James were the men that came to fix it and they were very professional and easy to work with. They found that I had a warranty on the unit and informed me of this. He told me he could fix it, but that I would have to pay a fee and told me if I went with the people that installed it I would probably not have to pay. I didn't want to use the company that installed it. He called his dispatcher and found that they could transfer the warranty to me. My final bill only ended up coming to $50.00 just for the transfer fee for the warranty. They didn't even charge me for the late hour. They were a pleasure to work and I will use them in the future!

Service was excellent from start to finish. The estimate and sale was handled professionally by Linda. The installation went very smoothly and the team, Ray and Antonio, got the job done on time and on budget. They were excellent communicators and worked very cleanly keeping my home spotless despite the potential for mess. I am very satisfied and feel confident in recommending Air Masters of Tampa Bay.

This company is by far one of the most professional establishments I have dealt with thus far. Their Service manager Bo is outstanding, very helpful and is very knowledgeable all makes and models of HVAC systems. I was devastated when my usual ac company went out of business due to the economy slowing down. So when I needed another contractor, I pulled a few different numbers from Angie?s List. Air Masters was the third company I called. It was about 4pm so I was not expecting to get in touch with anyone who was going to be able to assist me. I was pleasantly surprised when I called Air masters 1-when I got a live receptionist and 2-when my call was transferred to their service department in which I was patch straight thru to a professional. THANKS BO! Your topnotch customer service was a great relief to me when I was in real need.

I purchased a big deal from them and their services turned out good. They worked with me to get the best deal online. There were a couple of different coupons and so they figured out a way to lower my cost on the initial visit. I bought the wrong deal, they came by and they told me that what you really need is this one, so they saved me money. When I called they said that they would be their in 2 hours.

My AC unit was not blowing cold air. Called and left a voicemail for "emergency" Saturday service. Someone called back within 15 minutes to schedule a service call. The service professional, James, was on site within 90 minutes of my request for service. He worked quickly and efficiently to rectify the issue. He also made recommendations on how to prevent it from happening in the future. The $25 off coupon for Angie's list members was an added bonus.

Great. showed up a little late very rainy day, but he got right to work, did exactly what I contracted for on Angie's list special. Did do a little up selling me on annual maintenance contracts. However, if he didn't I would I'd call them anyway.

WENT WELL IT WAS A MANITANCE CALL, JUST THE LIGHT THAT WAS SOLD TO ME NOT TO SURE IF IT WAS WORTH THE 750 PLUS DOLLARS.

It went very well. They came very quickly. My lanscaper tripped on the electrical connections and pulled them loose from the unit.

I called the main number and left a message that I needed emergency service on our AC. The recording said someone would call within 15 minutes. About 30 minutes later a woman from Air Masters called and apologized for not calling sooner because the answering service just called them. (I was impressed by the apology, because I thought the 30 minute response time was pretty good.) She said that Jason would arrive at our home in 45 minutes to an hour. Fifteen minutes later he was ringing our front door bell. I explained that the fan was still on, but the compressor was not running and that I had checked the circuit breakers and they were fine. He went right to work and was able to show me in a matter of minutes what the problems were. I actually saw the volt meter he was using, and the wires that needed to be replaced, so I had a high level of confidence in what he was telling me. Within the hour he had finished the work and I saw the new parts. He wrote up a very detailed receipt. He was a great guy and I was impressed with the service. I would definitely use this company again.

Great. showed up as planned, on time, did exactly what i contracted for on Angie's list special, made some suggestions related to why i may be having the issue that i am with the unit cooling, a suggestion never made by the previous company, and didn't spend a lot of time upselling me on annual maintenance contracts or other services. However, if i did get a contract or need another service I'd call them anyway. It goes to show you that if you are good at what you do, you don't need to hound consumers into contracts because you'll get the work anyway.

Outstanding! My service technician was James Steward. He was professional, courteous and efficient. The really nice thing is that he didn't try to upsell me as my previous service company did. The only negative is that he had to use two capacitors instead of the one double that was in it because he didn't have it on his truck. It cost me a little more but the unit is up and running! I will definitely call them again and request James.
