I did a lot of research against multiple companies before I made the decision to go with Affordable Roofing. The sales rep, John, the office contact Carol, helped to put Affordable Roofing at the top of the list. Prices are competitive (in most cases better then others). The entire staff that worked on my roof were professional at all times. The took care of my property as if it was their own. They were here when they said they would be here, cleanup was done each day as promised. At the end of the job, they did a thorough sweep of my yard to ensure that all depris (including roofing nails, etc.) were picked up. I feel that they really put the extra effort in to ensuring that my experience with such an expensive home improvement would be better then average. I did have some shrub damage on the front side of my house, but looking at where and what they had to work with in that area, I am confident that it could not have been avoided. Although I do not intend to have to go through this process again, there are many homes in my sub division that will be needing replacements and I would not hestiate to recommend this company to them.

The overall job went very well. The job was started in the time frame listed in the contract. The workers were pleasant and professional and the new roof was completed in two days. The truck that was backed up to the garage for refuse tore some holes in my garage door screen and the company reimbursed me for a new screen. I called the salesman two days prior to the scheduled start date to find out when the job was scheduled and found him to be rude.I mentioned this to the owner and was assured that he would take care of it. All in all I was very satisfied with the job, materials and timeliness. The new roof looks great and I look forward to enjoying it for many years.

This company is quite remarkable. They were professional in both presenting the proposal and the workmen as well. They were open and upfront in their price, committment to time and scheduling, the great quality of their work and their cleanup. They left the job with our home looking better than it did when they started. I have recommended them to my clients, neighbors and friends and they too have been thrilled with them. I definitely will continue to recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

Very well. This company made an effort fit our job into their schedule to accomodate the closing of a new first mortgage. Their workers were polite, professional and did an excellent job cleaning up at the end of each day to the extent that they used a magnet to pick up any nails that may have flown off the roof and on the ground. These folks: sales staff, office staff and installation people are absolutely the best contractors that I have delt with relating to repairs on my home and I feel very confident referring them.

The job went very well. The workers were punctual, friendly and professional. They were very careful, not only with the installation but with any debree that may fall. We were impressed with the accuracy of the cuts (repair of the deck and trusts as well as the metal roof). The salesman ansered all our questions honestly and completely. We did not shop price as this vendor had the specific roof we wanted. We know they were in the ball park as other friends of ours had given us a rough idea what to expect.

I liked everything about them from the presentation to the pricing and the workmanship. I also liked the type of material they would have used such as energy efficient shingles. They had everything all together and did come back with a better quote. They gave a very nice presentation and brought their whole folder here with the quote, shingles and everything. They were very good.

The son said the screen enclosure had to be pulled back and removed. I asked about the soffit area and he told me he would not be able to give an exact estimate. He gave me an estimate of 6oo dollars. I was fine with that. He told me they had somebody that works with them that they have used for screen work. He called his dad and another gentlemen. Two days later I had not heard back from them. The gentleman they had used went out of business. I had called and spoke with Rick the owner, and he told me he would get the son to contact me. On Thursday they called me out and told me that I might need to find somebody to do the screen and soffit work myself, even though he originally told me they would do this. I called and got two people out by Saturday. One was to pull the screen back. No other roofer had issues with doing this. I had another guy out on Saturday to do the screen enclosures. He explained at how it was to be done and how much it would cost. I am now having some problems with Affordable Roofing. I told the son that I couldn't afford to do both the screen enclosures and the roof. I ask for my deposit back. The son told me I would have to talk to Rick. He called me back the day after. He told me I had three days to get out of the contract and I tried to explain that I had tried to get things setup in those three days and I kept getting the runaround. Rick started to cuss at me and put me on speaker phone for the whole office to hear. They have been totally unprofessional. They sent me a certified letter on the 15th that I had three options. One was to extend the contract up to sixty days. Two was to cancel the contract and I would forfeit the deposit. The third was for me to pursue legal options and they told me at that point they could sue for the entire amount. They never had to order any material for the job and kept giving me the runaround.

They came out, measured and gave us an estimate. Unfortunately, however, their price was very high and they were unwilling to work with us on the numbers. They were willing to do some adjustment, but that adjustment was really negligible. Their prices were much higher than the estimates we received, and we would not consider them in the future.

I chose this company because of the good reviews that they had on Angie's List. I did get four other bids. This company was quick to get back to me and they had a good price. The work went like "clockwork". They were nice to deal with.

It all went great. They are very professional. I love my metal roof.

Arrived on time. Got the job done in 2 days. Cleaned up all the mess.

The gentleman that came out was very thorough and very helpful; he gave us a thorough estimate. He went thru a lot of the information with is to make sure we understood the different materials. We will certainly keep this company in mind when we have the roof done.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL. THE GUY CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND SHOWED ME COMPARISON BETWEEN A SHINGLE AND A METAL. I PREVIOUSLY HAD A SHINGLE AND ALWAYS WANTED A METAL ROOF. THEY CAME AND DID THE JOB WHEN THE MATERIALS CAME IN AND THE MEN WERE VERY POLITE. THEY FOLLOWED UP ABOUT A MONTH LATER TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED WITH MY NEW ROOF WHICH I WAS. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS JUST WONDERFUL. I WOULD GIVE THEM A+'S FOR EVERYTHING AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO THE WHITE HOUSE IF I COULD.

Two months after the work was done, all the leaks came back in exactly the same places. I have called them about 7 or 8 times to at least have someone come out and see what the problem is. When I have made contact, they said someone would call me and come out. It never happened.

I hired them because they had the lowest quote I received. During the process of installation the crew worked hard and did a good job. They worked though out the day and only stopped for lunch and water. They had the new roof and roof on my garage installed in two days. One specific instruction I gave Ron was to be sure to clean up the roofing nails because I have pets and I did not want them to get hurt. A few days later I went out to fill my bird feeder and I stepped on a nail. After going back and looking I have found several nails on the ground roof of the garage. I have already paid them in full. I have tried many times to contact them about the matter and they will not call back and I am very disappointed and very upset. I am still finding nails in my yard.

Very good. they were on time, hard workers. I only wished they would have covered my air conditioning unit which is adjacent to the building before they started the tear-off.

Their prices were reasonable compared to other quotes. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the best roof for my needs. The workers were very thorough and clean, and got the job done quickly.

I called their office (talked to a male) I was advised of the roofing REPAIR needed (flashing at chimney) he scheduled an appointment for later the same day. A man (Alex) arrived with pallets of shingle samples in hand. I advised him I did not need a new roof and had advised the office personnel of the same when I called. I called the company back and advised them of the waste of my time and theirs. I feel they did not listen to the customers needs and try to sell an entire roof job, when it is not needed.

Overall good experience. Roof looks great; workmen cleaned up after themselves. They were not the lowest estimate, but their sales rep spent the most time with me going over his diagram and discussing thoroughly with me the warranty and what I could expect. As far as I could tell, none of the other companies I requested an estimate from drew up a diagram that was shown to me.

They did a very nice job. It took about a week but they were here every day with THE SAME CREW. After the job was complete I wanted them to change a small area and they came back and finished it. The crew was very nice and the final inspector was very detailed and interested in my overall satisfaction. By the way, the roof looks great.

Work was started 2 working days after roofing material was delivered. Roofers was professional and timely, answered my questions. So far so good. My main tick was not having my phone calls returned. But they were prompt in calling me when it was time to pay!
