Professional service for start to finish, Affordable Roofing has a very pleasant answering service, quick turnaround to get an estimate, great pricing, excellent roofers and they stay true to their pricing. We had the best experience with this company and would highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: We had a full roof replacement: removal of concrete tile and replaced with dimensional shingles. The original quote was well below most competitors (we received quotes from $22,500 to $29,000) and after the job was finished they stayed true to their estimate. They were the first to show up for an estimate and the only company who said they could finish the job in a week ( the others quoted 2-3 weeks). They finished our 7000 sqft roof in a week with heavy rain and there was no damage to our house. The team was very professional, cleaned the property daily and made a concerned effort to make sure that my family was safe from debris (we have two small children). I would highly recommend Affordable Roofing to everyone.

I called the company for an estimate they provided one within two days. He mentioned that if I went with the company it would be four to six weeks before they could start. they called me four weeks later and set up the time for the men to start. They were on time, cleaned after themselves everyday. It took two days, which i had been told it could take two or three days. Dustin the general contractor was there each day to explain anything I had a question about. All inspections were done in an orderly fashion. I was very pleased with the roof.

Took over 8 weeks before work was performed. Signed contract on August 24th - Started Work November 8th. Sales Rep did not give us Angie's list discount but later stated he did even though my husband nor I heard him say it and it was not marked on the contract. Company wanted final payment prior to final city inspection. Tried to over charge me on the fascia installation. Had to fight with them for over a week before they would issue credit. Paid final invoice due to threats received about payment even though I have not received any paperwork from them nor would they give us the 5% Angie's list discount they said they would.
Description of Work: Complete new roof and ventilation system. The crew showed up at 6:30 in the morning with no prior notification. The delivery of the shingled showed up at 6:30 am the next morning without any notification. It was a good thing I was awake for all this. The install crew was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very polite and courteous. The office personnel were not.

Thank you for choosing Affordable Roofing Systems. When the contract was signed 8/27/12 the contract stated work would start in 4-6 weeks and that final payment shall not be withheld due to inspections. [member name removed] was contacted 10/25/12 and asked if a 11/8/12 start date was Okay with her and she agreed. Our requirements for all discounts is before the contract is signed. Unfortunately no discounts were discussed until after the job was completed. We apologize for any billing errors but did issue the credit after research. We appreciate your feedback and business!

No service performed. I called the provider. They answered the phone with hello. Told him what I needed and that I needed the work done by end of year. He said he would call me back to set up an estimate. Never heard back from him.

It went slower than expected but that was probably because it was a 3 story house. Got pretty messy especially during the tear off but they took time to do a good clean up afterwards. The roof looks great and I expect it to last a long time and hold up well if we have a hurricane. Over all I am very satisfied and recommend them.

Very pleasant experience from start to finish. Brett was very helpful in explaining the entire process of what needed to be done and the choices we had when it came to materials, etc. Thanks to his help we were able to make an informed decision based on quality, look and our budget. We were on a tight completion schedule due to pending homeowners insurance renewal. Rick was very cooperative in making sure the work was competed in plenty of time to meet the renewal date. The actual work took 2 days. The crew was on time and Tony was very helpful in explaining exactly what they would be doing and how long it would take. They were very professional. Everything went as they said it would. Dustin showed up the day after completion to inspect the completed roof. He was very personable and took extra time to answer our questions and made sure we were completely satisfied with the roof and the entire process. Clean up was exceptional, except for the new roof it was hard to tell anyone had been here. Jordan also followed up with us to make sure we had the proper forms and pictures for the insurance company. Neighbors are stopping us and telling us what a great roof we have!

I received an estimate on the roof replacement on June 12th, 2012. In August we signed the contract. I was informed it would be 6 to 8 weeks before the work could start. Due to weather, they did not start till October 18th finished the job on October 20th. I would have liked to have some notice of where I was in the queue. I had to call periodically to find out my status which was usually, they didn't know. Once work was started, they were very efficient and got the work done in good time, approximately 2 days work time. The roof looks great, and the overlayment on the flat part of the rook should help bring my cooling costs down. The supervisor was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Contractor removed 2 layers of old shingles, stripping the roof down to the plywood. They removed 3 turbo ventilators and replaced them with ridge vents. The roof was re-nailed to code, and 16 plywood sheets were replaced. The flat part of the roof was stripped to the plywood, and insulating foam overlayment was applied creating a slope to the flat roof., eliminating a low spot in the old roof. New shingles were applied to the sloped part of the roof. The flat part of the roof was covered with Genflex reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin creating a bright white surface.

We called on Sep 25,2012 and the office phone was answered right away. The young lady told us she would have someone call us back. Within 10 minutes our call was returned and we described our problem. We were told a service man would contact us. Within 5 minutes the service man,Steve, called and asked if he could stop by. After his inspection of the roof, attic, and room that had the water mark he told us we did not need a new roof, or even the flashing around the chimney and some shingles replaced. He said all it needed was the flashing and shingles sealed. He performed the work right away. He even put a plastic tub in the attic to make sure if it did leak it would not ruin the ceiling. I have never had such fast, efficient, courteous, and honest service!!
Description of Work: Checked the attic and roof where there was a small leak and repaired it.

Affordable Roofing sent a rep to my house. He went over everything and explained my options and the prices for each. He was very knowledgeable and easily answered all our questions. His cost for a good shingle roof was well below 2 other estimates we got and what he was offering seemed to be better. We got a reduction in price for Angie's list and were supposed to get a $300 rebate from the shingle manufacturer (GAF) for being a veteran. It took a while to get the roof done because they were backed up and we had storms (Debbie and Isaac) and lots of rain, but they kept me informed. Once I was on the schedule, they showed up exactly when they said they would and had the job done in 2 days. The crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up very well when they were done and provided all the wind mitigation forms for me to send to my insurance company. It should have reduced my insurance $500 per year, but Citizens didn't accept all the mitigation papers they provided because there were inconsistencies in them. The company said they would contact the insurance company, but despite several reminders, they did not do so. They sent me a new photo of the hurricane straps, but the photo did not show what was needed, so I only goat about a $150 reduction. The company just stopped responding to my e-mails and did not follow through like they said they would. I also submitted the copies of the UPC codes they provided for my $300 rebate, but I never heard anything back from GAF.
Description of Work: They replaced my tile roof, which was leaking, with a new shingle roof with a 130 mph rating and a lifetime guarantee.

At the beginning, we interviewed four local roofing companies. By far, Affordable Roofing Company was the most professional and thorough. Brett, the sales representative, explained the process from beginning to end. He gave us a folder that consisted of insurance coverage, materials information & pricing amounts. It was obvious that he had been in the roofing business a long time and knew about roofing. The company called ahead to let us know when the job would start. The workers were punctual and worked h****** our roof all day. When they found more damage on the roof, they brought it to our attention. They also cleaned up afterwards when they were finished. After the work was completed, the accounting guy came to our home and went over the billing and supplied photos to show us all the work that was done. It was good to see the before and after photos to see all the damage that was repaired. Affordable Roofing Company was very professional to work with and we would use them again for the rest of our roof.
Description of Work: We had a new flat roof installed on the back of our home.

Their quote was good but I am holding off the project for a while. They did a good job coming out with the quote and were nice and thorough. Their price was very similar to a competitor's. They were punctual, professional and their product line was the same as another company who also bid. If we had financed through them they would have done some gutter work and removed and replaced the solar hot water heating system on my roof themselves and included it in the price. Another company that quoted would have had to sub-contract this work out. If I can come up with the money to do the project this is the company I may go with.

the experience overall was the best. They came to replace the whole roof of my house, called the county inspectors, clean the area after each day and gave me the documents required for the home insurance.
Description of Work: I called Affodable roofing to replace complete the roof of my house. The experience was pleasant, the expert they send to my home, was very professional and knowledgeable on the product and service the can provide. The same day the roofing company agent came to do the estimation on my house, another neighbor asked him to provide another roofing estimation, and the response was “Yes”. The frame time estimate to have the job done was correct 3 days, including the inspections by the county and their own inspectors. My home now looks beautiful, and with the best quality in roofing products. I do recommend them to anyone in Tampa and Brandon, Florida

The salesman came to talk to us before the work began. He explained in detail the work that would be done and why it was necessary. The work schedule was exact. There was no problem with scheduling. Crews were friendly and there was no fear of security problems. The work was well done and professional. Follow-up was great with the owner's son coming to make sure everything was ok.The son examined the work and made sure everything was well done. We were very pleased with the work and the professionalism of the crew and mangagement.I highly recommend this company if you want a good job done on your roof. The price was good for the quality of work done and the quality of materials. You get what you pay for.

Affordable roofing showed up when they said they would. They were prepared with everything needed to perform the job. They removed the old roofing materials starting with the shingles. The felt was removed when they were going to place the Peel and Stick making sure it would not rain on the exposed roof. The shingles and felt were removed in sections. The workers worked so well together it was very interesting to watch. The new shingles went down with no problems. They were very meticulous when placing the shingles especially in the valleys. The roofing job took 2 days to complete, which was very impressive. They cleaned up every day before they left. The workers were very respectful and was more than happy to explain what they were doing. Fantastic job!!!!!
Description of Work: Affordable roofing removed all the old shingles and felt. Replacing them with Peel and stick underlayment, new shingles and drip edge. Also renailed the plywood with longer nails which made the roof more wind resistant.

We ran across Affordable Roofing at a home show and were impressed with the roofing materials displayed. We were particularly interested in the standing seam metal roof system which we felt gives the best look for our home. We made an appointment to have an estimate and the salesman was very well prepared to discuss all of our roofing options including shinlge and metal options (there were many more than we expected). Because of the size of the job we decided to get another proposal. The cost from Affordable proved to be nearly identical to the other contractor. We selected Affordable because the salesman was best prepared to discuss what we were interested in, and we liked the product offered by Affordable better than what we were shown by the competitor. After we signed the contract, everything was handled professionally and we were very pleased with the Company and the product. The office staff was always available for questions although we had few. They started the work in about 3 weeks which was in line with when they expected to be able to begin and they finished when we expected them to. Once they began, they were on the job every morning by 8:00 (or earlier) and the work progressed very nicely. They did not miss a day on the job, yet from my perspective they took the time to make sure everything was done right. The roofing crew was very professional and stuck to their business. They kept the property as neat as possible, and cleaned up after themselves daily. The roof looks fantastic and we have had many comments on what a great choice we made.

They were more and more inclined to cut corners. The experience was very bad. They didn't have a piece of the roof that they needed and initially they tried to use another piece, which didn't work and my roof leaked, but in a different room than the original leak. When I came home from work, they told me that they were missing one piece and that they would come out the next day and fix it. When I came home from work the next day, they said that they had finished the job. That night it rained, and it leaked in my bedroom, instead of the side room where it was originally leaking. After they came and fixed that piece, they had to get someone to come out and repaint the bedroom ceiling for me. The person I talked to on the phone there was incredibly rude. They were really friendly until I gave them a deposit. Once I gave them the deposit, there was a 180 degree change in their attitude. They were totally rude and disrespectful on the phone to me.

We are not sure how to respond to the concern or what the resoultion would be? The work was performed in 2009 and we have not been contacted by the customer in years. The piece of roof we initially did not have was underlayment and the crew did a temporary dry-in which leaked (Flat Roof Repair). We did not re-roof the home only the flat roof! As Member explains, we paid for the additional repairs! We made a mistake and paid for the additional cost for repairs! Why wait years to complain?

Although the majority of the work done by the installers for this company was completed in an acceptable manner, the problem with the soffit and the soffit track was not. Once I was assured by the project manager that if there was any problem with this area in the future it would immediately be rectified. Had I not felt confident as to what he stated and that I had a written warranty for the workmanship, I certainly would not have made the final payment until I was satisfied that the work had been done properly. I WILL NEVER recommend this company to anyone not because of the overall job that they did, but because of the terrible attitude of the owner, Mr. Rick Millette. He is one of the most abrasive and crude person that I have ever met in my lifetime. The man really has a BIG chip on his shoulder. If he treats his employees the way he treats his customers with problems, I feel sorry for them.
Description of Work: The job was the replacement of an existing roof. The installation of the roof was well done and completed in a timely manner with exception that in one area of the roof which was a very tight place to put shingles into and then nail with a nail gun was done in a very haphazard manner. The installer pushed the overhanging soffit up and bent not only the soffit but the track in which the soffit lays when he tried to nail the shingles into place. I brought this to the attention of the project manager who in turn had one of the installers attempt to fix the problem. The installer attempted to straighten the soffit and the track but was unable to put it back to its original condition. When I again brought this to the attention of the project manager he assured me that what was done was sufficient and if in the future I any problems with this area, I was to simply call the company and he told me that since the workmanship was warrantied for five years they would send someone to take care of any problems. In December of 2011, my wife told me that she had observed a squirrel entering the attic to the place in question. Subsequently, I called Affordable Roofing and spoke with some in their office and was told that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. When I did not hear from anyone, so I called again and spoke with Mr. Rick Millette. He was extremely rude to me after I explained the problem to him. He said that since the work had been done about three and half years ago, he did not feel that the problem I was having was because of the workmanship done by installers and he would not stand behind his warranty and that I should not expect him to do anything. When I again reminded him that his company had warrantied their work , he became quite beligerent and started cursing me and calling me expletive names. At this point I knew that talking with this person was totally futile so I said good bye and hung up the phone. It so happened that soon after this episode with Mr. Millette, there was a home show at the Tropicana Field here in Tampa. When I noticed that Affordable Roofing was going to be at the show, I told my wife that we were going to the home show so I could confront Mr. Millette in person. Upon seeing Mr. Millette, I approached him and asked if I could speak to him away from possible clients. We then stepped away and when I informed him who I was he became quite defensive. When I explained to him again what I feel is a legitimate problem, he asked that I call him on Monday and we could make arrangements for someone from his office to come to my home and look at the problem. I also reminded him what his project manager at the time had stated and he told me that this person had retired and no longer worked for his company. I had the feeling when I left him that he was unhappy that I confronted him in front of other possible clients. When I called him on the following Tuesday, he told me that he was upset that I confronted him and that if and when he had a chance he would personally come to look at the problem I was having. When I questioned him as to when this might occur, he rudely informed me that he was an extremely busy person and would not commit to anytime and reiterated that he would do it if he found the time and felt like coming to my residence. When I again asked when this might be, he started cursing me, again calling me names. I immediately told him that I did not appreciate be spoken to in this matter and he simply said "go to h___ "and hung up the phone. This incident took place in early January of 2012 and I have yet to hear from him or anyone from his firm. Since this much time has elapsed, I am assuming that he plans to do nothing to correct this problem or stand behind his warranty.

The facts! The roof was completed in 2008! The soffit in question was not installed by ARS. I was not prevy to the conversation that took place in 2008, nor does Dave work here ( Retiered after 26 years). Last week we sent my son out to look at the problem (For Free). The problem is Member has rodents or ? pushing up the soffit! Member called our office daily for multiple days after I told him we would inspect the problem for free at our convenence! That was not good enough for him, Member did show up at the Homeshow and started raising his voice at me. I asked him to step to the back of the booth! I spoke to Member today about the Angies List report and asked him to modify the report with the truth His reply was, he did not have time to discuss it just like, I did not have time to come out when he insisted. Overall we did our due diligence and still got a bad report. I did not tell him to go to h_ _ _. I sent a person out to check the problem. As he reports, the roof has no problems and never has! By the way we do record our conversations!

WE ARE TOTALLY UNBELIVEABLY HAPPY WITH THIS JOB!!! I know I said the previous words elsewhere, but it is totally TRUE! The roof had signs of wear and we had "sealed" (high-price paint) the roof about two (2) years ago and it really wasn't "working" although it looked very nice. I had a retired roofer friend come over and "walk" our roof. He pulled a few tiles off and said the tar-paper underlayment had dried out so much over the years, that if a spark (such as from July 4th fireworks) ever touched it, the roof would go "POOF" up in flames. This DID bother us! We had a leak problem with our old electric hot-water heater and had replaced it with a new solar hot-water system which works incredibly well (from Sun-Tec in Clearwater, FL). We also installed a solar Pool Water heating system on the flat roof portion of the house at the same time. Those systems were Great M&R and new feature projects. We went to the St. Petersburg Home Show at Tropicana Field in November for some roof replacement shopping. We met Mr. Brett Bishof from Affordable Roofing Systems and made an appointment to have an estimate drawn. Affordable Roofing Systems offered GAF roofing similar (now of course improved) to what we had put on our residence in Maryland about 25 years ago which we were very pleased with. Brett came out and "walked the roof" and calculated the materials required to do the job. Now came the choice of which type of GAF Timberline shingles we wanted (HD or not) to calculate the basic cost. We could choose color when we agreed to do the job. Brett told us all the variables and what the additional costs would be -- especially critical was the replacement of defective wood planks that support the roofing materials -- the amount was unkown, but he quoted the running-foot prices for the various sizes of wood that might be required. The material used for the underlayment had choices in grade and there was the option for installation of additional thermal insulation material and also consideration of adding "ridge vents" along the peaks of the shingled roof. The pluses and minuses were presented and we made the choice of using the best grade of all materials from our previous experiences. Brett also mentioned various funding options and credits from various sources. We discussed the situation thoroughly and he gave us a GAF color/roofing-material sample "book" and a quote. Brett came up with a price which we felt was much better than what we expected from several neighborhood experiences we knew of. We told him we had just done the solar installation and needed to wait until after the first of the new year to do the job due to our cashflow situations. He said no problem, but they were very busy and told us to call when we were ready. January 3rd came and I contacted Brett to schedule the installation. We had done all we could with the almost inaccessible flat roof area of the house which was basically, all the blown-in fiberglass insulation that could be, had been blown-in, and it was still warmer than we preferred in the summer unless we paid Progress-Energy more! We added the additional one-inch (1") of thermal insulation under the roofing materials on the flat-roof since we were going to "do it all" on this ocassion. This was the only change to the proposal Brett had left us before. We signed the papers and weather permitting, we hoped to begin the tile roof removal on the 12th. I called Sun-Tec (the solar contractor) and told them the plan and I needed to do the solar system removal for both systems which we had negotiated into the original solar installation contracts. Sun-Tec would be here when required. Affordable Roofing coordinated with Sun-Tec for the removal of the solar panels and much of the associated pool system piping. Sun-Tec came out and removed everything as planned and neatly stacked it out of the way for the roofers and the pool maintenance contractor. The lead man from Sun-Tec had been on the solar installation and warned his crew about how "bad" the roof was and to be careful where they walked for safety. This confirmed our decision to re-roof! Affordable had a "dump trailer" delivered on the 11th in preparation for the tile removal on the 12th. I had questioned Brett about putting down plywood sheets to protect my driveway paversand Affordable agreed to do it. They had good experiences with their trailers not breaking pavers and changing the units frequently lessened the load weights, which was comforting. When the first dump trailer arrived I looked it over and its tire/axle set-up and discussed it with the driver. My assessment was that the boards were not needed. In the end this was the correct choice as no damage was done and multiple trailers were used. A rainstorm forecast delayed the removal of the solar panels and Affordable's removal of the roof tile. We didn't want a non "dried-in" situation, so we delayed the tile roof removal and shingle installation until after the weekend on January 16th. Affordable offered to remove the dump trailer from my driveway for the weekend, but I told them to let it be. I was advised that the crew would arrive about 8:30AM, which they did. I had cleared our vehicles out of the driveway and the four (4) person crew brought a pick-up truck with their equipment and a bunch of lumber in various widths and thicknesses to replace that which was rotted or defective. The four (4) men proceeded to unload their equuipment and placed it neatly on the driveway or roof as required and started the tile roof removal. They put their "work radio" on the roof and turned it on to a low volume that didn't disturb any of the four (4) adjacent neighbors. (I spoke to all of them.) My next door neighbor had replaced his tile roof a couple of years ago and did his pool get full of tile pieces! I never got ANY in our pool! These guys were NEAT and CLEAN. My wife commented on how clean they were to me during the whole event. I saw the lead roofer use his cell phone on a couple of ocassions and I believe it was calls to or from Affordable. They really WORKED steadily and more or less eat their lunches "on the fly"! They removed the old tile roof and the old "flash-paper" underlayment. They thoroughly inspected the boards.and replaced those that needed to be. I agree with what was removed needed to be! While the boards were removed, the crew took pictures confirming the rafter attachment meets the Building Code and will help reduce insurance costs under the 4-Point Mitigation Inspection. Then the lead man took a blue paint spray can and drew something on the boards but I couldn't tell what it said. Anyone associated with the construction industry knows it is common to write your name and date or something to denote you had been on a job, so I wasn't concerned because ti would get covered by the new underlayment and shingles anyway. When the job was done, Rick Mellette gave us a set of pictures of the roof job from start to finish and it included what had been painted on the wood -- the City of St. Pete Beach Permit number and address! I certainly pray a hurricane or such will never uncover it, but I think it was a great thing to apply! Then came the installation of the new GAF underlayment on the portion of the roof which had been tiled and installation of the metal angle edge cap to prevent water from seeping up under the underlayment and rotting the boards -- this ended the first day. The next morning the crew was back before 8AM and went right to work. The flat roof now was being removed. Suncoast Roofing Supply delivered the shingles, insulation and shingle associated ridge vents. I have a "Class A" CDL and I know what it is driving "big rigs" in many neighborhoods -- most moving vans attending houses in this neighborhood back out rather than try to turn around or navigate this single access/exit road. Backing into the non-garage side of my driveway is a real challenge and again, it was a heavy truck (10-wheeler). The driver was a good as they come! I commented to him how much I respected and regarded his skill. He and his helper off-loaded the truck and the Affordable crew assisted in distributing the shingle packages appropriately on the roof where the main structural supports are. Then part of the crew started to install the special GAF edge shingles which are special for securing the shingle edge to the metal angle edging and the first course of standard shingles. Where we had problems with water coming between the soffit edge and a patio cover, special flashing for the rain run-off from the shingles was installed. The solar fan was bedded-in and re-installed and since it was "right down to the decking", little flashing was required to assure leak-free duty for the future. Likewise with the kitchen and bathroom fan vents. One of the crew made a "box" to surround the solar hot-water piping coming through the roof and it is incredible! Even the Sun-Tec men commented on how good it is. Really LOOKS GOOD and low-key, but does the job! Elevations were measured with tape measures and chalk lines were made to assure proper installation of the shingles throughout.the project and with a hip roof, it is very visible if shingles are not meeting on the same plane. Two (2) men worked on this shingle installation and the other two (2) men worked on the completion of the removal of the flat-roof materials and preparation. When needed the two (2) groups assisted each other. Once the flat roof was cleared they installed the wood, insulation and metal edging. Then the GAF material with white surface was installed. After the shingles were completed the ridge vents were installed. The yard was gone over with a "magnetic broom" and all material was cleaned up. The dump trailer was taken away the next morning leaving a TOTALLY HAPPY PAIR OF HOMEOWNERS! God Bless Affordable Roofing Systems business and work ethics! Highest recommendations from us!
Description of Work: WE ARE UNBELIEVEABLY TOTALLY HAPPY WITH THIS JOB!!! Basic job was to remove a 49 year-old concrete, barrel-tile on a hip roof and a built-up roof on a large (30-foot by 30-foot) flat roof and install new GAF Timberline HD shingles on the hip roof and install one-inch (1") insulation over plywood on flat-roof, and cover the flat-roof with best grade GAF roofing materials. This job also was to cover replacement of sanitary sewer vent stacks through the hip roof and the 49 year-old kitchen fan vent. This job also required removal and "bedding-in" of an existing large solar attic exhaust fan, installation of GAF "Cobra" roof-ridge air vents on the peaks of the shingled hip roof The existing solar hot water (domestic) piping penetration could not be disturbed and new flashing was required. The rainwater run-off from the new shingles was to be extended to cross a joint along the soffit onto an attached aluminum patio cover to eliminate a leakage problem never addressed by us or previous property owners Replacement of any rotted wood and additional wood surround for the new one-inch (1") insulation installation was included. Basically the only unknown cost was the wood that was to be replaced.

AFFORDABLE ROOFING SYSTEMS INC Affordable Roofing Systems, workmanship was good. The only thing I didn't like was that I was told after the roof was put on that it dips on the front of the house and I wished they would have told me, also that my deck is warped (my house is 19 years old and we use to have a tile roof than switched to shingles which may the dip noticeable), and the vent for the dryer they had put something on it to block birds and things from going in there, and it ended up blocking up where my dryer wasn't venting out and it could have caused a fire. I did like that he took me for a ride around the neighborhood so I could see the different kinds and colors of roofing so I could have a better idea of what I wanted, which I appreciated that he went out of his way to do that for me and it was easier to decide rather than looking at the samples. He was professional and I would recommend them.
Description of Work: AFFORDABLE ROOFING SYSTEMS INC We had Affordable Roofing Systems, install a new roof for us. It was November 11 and cost $4,000.

I am happy with the roof and the company but there are still a couple of issues that have not been resolved. My score for this company would be higher if they had followed thru with the 2 issues. 1st issue was that while they had 2 trailers in the driveway side by side they crushed some pavers on one side of the driveway. The owners wife came out and took pictures and called to say that they could not match the broken pavers and would it be OK if they replaced all of them, which I agreed to but have not heard back from them. 2nd issue is that the salesman assured me that the 2 X 12's used for framing the roof were included in the price but when I received the final bill I was charged extra. I spoke to the owners wife again and she said that she would check with the salesman but I have not heard back on that issue either. UPDATE: All of the pavers have been replaced and I am very happy with the results. These were replaced about a week after I wrote about the issue. I spoke with the owner today about the 2nd issue and that has also been resolved. The 1 X 12's that I was charged for were to replace some exsisting damged wood on the roof not the framing material. The framing wood is included in the price. Overall I very pleased with the work provided and would recomend Affordable Roofing to my family and friends. Great job and the neighbors are still complimenting.

Very professional team. I felt comfortable leaving them at my house while I went to work. They completed the job in 2 1/2 days. Cleaned up everything, nothing left behind, not even a stray nail. Took pictures of the entire process. Would recommend them to a friend and family member.
