see details above. The only other thing I would have considered is changing the handle too so that the same key can be used for both locks. The handle has a twist lock on the inside that can be used but unfortunately the handle lock still has no key to access the shed from the outside. We are just careful not to use the handle lock as then we could be locked out of the shed with no key to fit it unfortunately. The dead bolt does lock the shed and it can be secured for now.

We purchased Medeco locks from Affordable Lock & Security Solutions. We made an initial contact with Affordable Lock and spoke to an employee in Feb for pricing and information on the newly updated Medeco locks. We did not purchased the locks till August. In early June, we reached out to Affordable Lock & Security again, the employee has left. Hence, I spoke to Paul, the manager at this location. Paul was very nice, accommodating and even honored the price that the employee quoted us in February! The price on these locks had increased. After we installed the lock, we had issue with two locks. One issue was resolved by Paul sending us a part. The other issue is one that my husband will work to resolve on his own. We know that if we can't resolve the issue, we can call Paul for help. These locks are not standard locks, so if you have never used them nor install them, have Paul's crew do the install for you. We owned Medeco locks for our apartments and our previous home. We know the quality of the locks. They are high secure locks that most people do not know. Medeco locks are more commercially known for high secure government and banking industry. If you need Medeco locks, commercial or residential, call Affordable Lock & Security Solutions, they will work with you and treat you well. We will definitely buy from Paul at Affordable Lock again.

It took less than 10 minutes to program a new key fob and re-program an old fob so that they both were recognized by the vehicle to perform all the functions of the fobs. Quick and easy, and for a lot less money than the dealer would have charged for the same service.

Michael, our technician, did an excellent job of listening to my situation and what I thought I wanted to have done, and then carefully went through all of our options. He did this in an informative way, not as a sales pitch, which I appreciated. We chose to have him rekey all of the locks in our home and replace a single cylinder deadbolt with a double cylinder deadbolt. He completed all the work within an hour (9 cylinders), including the time he spent going around to all of the doors with me to make sure all the keys worked properly with the new locks. I would highly recommend their services.

I purchased the bid deal for rekey my home but they tell me its outside their service area and want an additional 125 dollars. How is this my problem? They included manatee county in their offer ; that's not right nor legal - I want a refund of my money and Angie's list should not permit vendor to change the terms of the offer. If they need to charge a service charge - they need to create a separate deal for the extended area. What nerve.

I had a very good experience with Affordable Lock and Security Solutions. Bobbie was polite and efficient and set up an appointment for John to come to repair my faulty lock. John called when he was en route to my home before arriving. He was extremely professional, polite and explained everything to me about the faulty lock. Not long afterwards he showed me and asked me to test the fixed lock. I was very satisfied and pleased. I am satisfied with their service. Mason was on time. I paid $233 for keys, front door, kitchen door, side door, and bedroom door. Keys work perfectly. I have no issues and will use them again in the future. I don't know if I got a good deal or not but I am satisfied with their services.

We just moved into a new home and I purchased a Big Deal for a home re-keying packing to change the locks. I was contacted the same day and scheduled for the next time a person was going to be in my area. They arrived on time and performed the work quickly. I had them do some extra cylinders and keys beyond the deal since they were here and the add on was no problem. Overall they were extremely polite, professional, and helpful.

They work beautifully. I thought their prices were reasonable. Their quality of work was excellent. They also responded immediately. Upon calling to set up the appointment they came out and were on time. They were very professional. They were a joy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

It went very well. John had to try several things in order to get the lock to work smoothly. He explained what he was doing as he worked. Several times, he asked us to try to turn the key and if we were satisfied with how it was working. He kept adjusting the lock until we were satisfied that we could use it with ease.

It went very well he was very knowledgeable and fast all my locks worked perfectly. I would use them again in the future.

I was given an arrival time of between noon and 4 pm for the representative, who phoned at 4 pm and said he was running late. He arrived around 5 pm. The locks that he suggested to secure the sliding glass door looked like they would do the job, so I gave him the go-ahead to install them after he informed me of the cost. When he finished I could tell that one door wasn't making a proper seal when closed because I could see light where it should have been flush to the frame. The representative then tightened the screws on the door frame and after that the doors closed properly. The locks are easy to operate and I think they will work well. The representative was also able to fix the deadbolt lock on the door from the house into the garage, which was cheaper than having to replace the lock. Although satisfied with this company's work, I was disappointed that I was not informed in advance about the $58 service charge and only learned about it when presented with the bill. When I expressed surprise about this charge, the representative agreed to knock $20 off the labor charge but said the service charge was mandatory. He said I should have been informed about the charge when the appointment was booked.

The appointment was set for the last time slot for the day. The technician was running behind and called to notify me. He ended up being about 90 minutes late but communicated that fact with me. The work performed was excellent. The original deadbolt on the unit was a standard average deadbolt. The product installed was a high quality product and will provide a good secure entrance to my home. The price was steep and I knew that before making the appointment. This is a key controlled deadbolt system so key copying is tightly restricted. I was very satisfied with the end results.
