I have used afc multiple times over the past 5 or 7 years., They are very reliable, have same people working for them for 10-16 years and always do an excellent job. They are very honest, try to come out quickly for emergenies, (like pet accidents) and do an excellent job. Their prices are reasonable considering that they do quality work. Small company run by husband and wife with a few stable and hard working employees. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any job large or small.

After worker left, there were 2 water stains on the carpet that were not on the carpet before he came. I called the company and told them about the rust stains that had not been removed plus the new water stains that existed after the worker left. A few days later the owner of the company called me and he was going to come out and remove the rust stains and inspect the water stains to determine what it was caused from. After leaving numerous phone messages after 8/27/10 and the owner of the company not calling me back to reschedule to take care of the rust stains and to inspect the water damage, I am through with these people. This is my first time using Angies List and felt secure that maybe I wouldn't be cheated out of louse service and substandard work after selecting a company that I thought had decent evaluations but I was wrong.

Grinding was completed in about three days, but after that the job was not finished. The house was empty for three weeks from the start date, but two months later after we had moved in, the stains had not been removed and the holes from the carpet tacks had not been filled. And, the technique they were going to use to fill the holes would leave them, while filled, very visible. While AFC may be fantastic for many types of flooring surfaces, and Alan the owner is a super nice guy, they are not qualified to restore terrazzo. I had to hire another firm to finish the job and I am very pleased that I did, as their work was spectacular. You cannot tell where the holes were, and they did a great job with the stains. At least AFC's price was low enough that I was able to afford to hire the second company, and AFC did not require that I pay the $300 balance remaining after I informed them that I was not satisfied. Also, nothing in writing. No written estimate, contract, or invoices.

Very good. They came to the house and picked up the carpets and delivered them at no extra charge. That was good.

He was very quick, professional, nice, and was very careful not to track water from the bottom of his shoes on to the tile. I had used them when we moved in and I called the back again and was sent the same serviceman both times - he was terrific.
