The service was very good. The PVC pipe was older and leaking and he came the next day to fix it.

Eddie worked very hard and made us very happy with installing our gas log set up so we could have a beautiful burning fireplace for the holidays. Everything looks great, he took the time to set up the coals to the logs making them look fabulous. Eddie was very professional and very informative about our fireplace.

I had my gas company service inspector here just before Christmas because we smelled gas. They replaced the 1st stage regulator at the inground tank, which has a bad leak but he also determined that there was a small leak in the heater itself and that I would need a new controller valve. He told me that these valves were about $300 and he gave me the name of a company in St. Pete who could do the work. I first called my pool man who sold me the heater about 7 years ago. He said that his gas guy was not available for about 2 weeks because of the holidays. So I called the company who the gas company reccommended. They got back to me within 24 hours and said it was $395 for the part, and $100 for the visit. Plus tax, I was over $500 before they got here so I told them I would get back to them. I then went to Angies List and found Advanced Gas Works with good reviews. I went to their web site, filled out the contact us form with the particulars as to what system I had and what I needed replaced. Eddie from Advanced Gas Works called me back within a few hours and said that he had the part which would work and he could come the next day, provided the rain held off. His price was $250 for the part and $85 for the trip and labor. Needless to say, Eddie got the job. He came the next day, after calling me to give about 30 minutes notice. After looking over the problem, he determined that he did not have the right part and would have to run back to get it but would return in 30 minutes. He also told me that the part was not a Hayward but assured me it would work perfectly well. I agreed and he went for the part and returned in 30 minutes. One hour later he was done, and the system was working as expected. He also replaced a Roll Out Switch which broke (there was a lot of rust so I understand why). Eddie called the gas company and they are satisfied it is working also so they are scheduling the delivery of gas now. Eddie did the job I needed in a timely fashion and at what I think was a fair price. He was very professional and left me his card with the receipt and asked me to call him if I had any additional troubles. I'm not one to fill these forms out generally but I really appreciate AngiesList.com and the access to good companies who others have used. Eddie is worth a call! Eric

We need a gas dryer installed, but the builder did not include shut-off valve at the dryer stub. I called Eddie and he was right out there. He installed the shut-off valve and connected the dryer very quickly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Eddie showed up when promised, diagnosed the issue with the fire pit and offered a solution to repair it. Eddie was a total professional with a great attitude, We had called several gas companies before we found Eddie and non of them ever fixed the problem most never even returned our calls. Eddie was awesome

Our gas fireplace wouldn't light. The large national gas co. that filled our tank did not respond to three service call requests, so we consulted A's List and found Edddie Camacho at Advanced Gas. I called him on Friday, described the problem, he listened, asked some questions and made an appt. for the following Monday. He called later on Fri. to say he'd be in my area on Sunday and could service the fireplace then. He showed up at the specified time, congenial, professional. He laid down a tarp and had to disassemble practically everything inside the fireplace to get at the broken parts. He worked efficiently, reassembled it all and it worked perfectly. He also took the time to unravel the nest of wires for the remote control-it had never worked right-and now it also works great.

Eddie arrived just before his quoted time and quickly determined that it was our ignition switch and that the pilot light was clogged. He repaired the items with parts that he had on his truck. He put the fireplace back together and now it works like a charm. We look forward to using it tonight now that the evenings have cooled down outside. Eddie was very professional and courteous and understood our needs. I will probably use him to install a tankless water heater in the near future.

Outstanding from start to finish! Sent an email request from the web site last night and had an email reply within 5 minutes stating Eddie Camacho would be in touch with me and provided his contact information as well. At 8:15 am he called me and I explained what I needed. He was here within the hour. Very courteous and professional. He completed the job, cleaned up, and took away the old cook top for me. His price was very reasonable. If I have need of other gas related services I would call him immediately!

.I CONTRACTED EDDIE ON HIS WEB SITE. HE RESPONDED VIA E-MAIL. HE GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT AND HE ARRIVED EXACTLY ON TIME. WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN SHORT ORDER,. I HAVE USED HIM TO WORK ON GAS FIREPLACE LOGS,GAS COOKTOP AND A CONTINIOUS FLOW HOT WATER HEATER. ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED QUICKLY AND AT THE AGREED ON PRICE

Was able to come the same day (2 hours after I called), gas line needed to be moved about 6" lower to clear back of new range, after moving it we slid the range in and it still wasn't flush, so Eddie plumbed it again with no questions. A fair price for the work performed thank you.

Eddie was great and really knows his stuff! He cleaned burners (we thought we might need new ones but didn't), fixed starters and replaced a gas line that was inadequate for the size of our grill. Also he checked out our gas fireplace operation upon our request, answered some questions we had and started our pilot light. Great service!

Gave estimate over the phone and explained all the work he would do. Arrived on time (actually few minutes early). Removed old water heater, and installed new one in under 2 hours. Kept area clean and was very professional. Showed me how the new water heater works, and explained how I can qualify for a rebate from the gas company. Price paid was same as estimate. Will definitely use them again!

Checked out Plumbers on Angies List and found Advanced Gas Works to have the best reports pertaining to my problem. I sent Eddie a email, he responded quickly and reassured me the problem did not sound as bad as I i thought.we made a appointment to have him come out to the house, he was ontime and very professional.he showed a interest in getting things fixed with as little expense as possible, I liked that!He did replace a worn out part and check out the HWH as mauch as he could.The HWH has been working fine.I am very happy and if the fix fails again, he is prepared to replace another additional part, no problems have surfaced.It is good to know I have a quality contractor with a back up plan, ready to go when I need it.I would highly recommend Eddie and his company.

Called for an estimate and they were able to come out the same day! Way quicker than other companies. Well educated in all options and willing to discuss different solutions. Emailed me an estimate within 4hrs.

.Eddie Comacho, owner of Advanced Gas came to repair a broken thermocoupler on a Frontgate propane gas heater. After taking the unit apart he found that none of the standard thermocouplers he carries would fit. After telling him we needed the unit for our Super Bowl party he called his supplier and found they had one that should work, He came back the same day and installed the new part. I was not home so he left the invoice on my lanai. Heater works fine. Mr Comacho is a rare service person who actually cares and obviously goes the extra step. I would highly recommend him

Eddie returned my calls promptly and got us right on the schedule to get the work done. He fully explained what would need to be done and what prep we needed to do (we needed to remove the drywall to have the line piped in, and we needed to add a new outlet for the gas range, because the electric range outlet was not appropriate.) The work was done quickly and professionally, and he worked very cleanly as well. Our quoted price was the final price and everything looks great...I couldn't be happier with the new range! I would definitely use this company again.
