Description of Work: I have an older Hayward NG pool heater that wasn't working anymore. We thought we needed a new heater but he was able to diagnose what the problem was and get us back up and running at very little cost. We were very happy with the service and will use him for all of our future gas needs.

Description of Work: We contacted Advanced Gas Works on Monday 5/20/13 to have our gas range looked at. I had picked this company due to its great Angie's List reviews. We were quoted a price and set up appt for the next day. We were told we would be contacted with specific time. Tuesday came and went with no show and no calls. My spouse received a call today 5/22 inquiring on where we wanted the water heater to be placed. When my spouse advised that it was actually about a range, was met with defensiveness, no apology and no indication of when our range might get evaluated. Customer service goes along way and there was none. We chose to call another company.

Description of Work: We were told by other company that the next time our spa heater would stop functioning that we would have to replace it. Well,last summer it went up again and decided to wait till our tax refund came back in Jan. to replace the heater. We called Eddie and asked him to give us an estimate to replace the heater. He checked it and said "I can repair it for $65",you don't need to replace it'! We were shocked and so grateful for his honesty! We were ready to spend over $2,000 and he knew this! This guy is fantastic! He should be put in the Hall of Fame for service workers! The spa works great,by the way!!

Description of Work: We had granite installed in our kitchen and the installers had to disconnect the gas line for two cooktops. Advanced did a great job and even made a trip back (35mi) to replace a small part that was broken in the process with no additional charge. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Eddie replaced a gas water heater in the home we had recently purchased and were preparing to move into. Apparently the previous owner had had a gas water heater installed in the house that was not the correct type of water heater for the space it occupied. (It needed a direct vent type water heater, but it was just a regular water heater.) Eddie and his helper installed a 50 gallon Ruud Direct Vent Water Heater, re-did the venting, and even went upstairs and corrected the piping on the other gas water heater that had recently been installed by a different company. Eddie and crew were wonderful! I will be calling him again to move the gas pipe behind my dryer, so it can be pushed against the wall. I highly recommend Advanced Gas Works.

Description of Work: Had an extremely hard time getting anyone from any gas company to call me back. Eddy missed my call and called me back 5 minutes later. By that time I had already secured emergency service from another vender. When I explained this to Eddy, he was very professional and apologized for missing the call. After dealing with many gas companies today, I find this to be a rare.

Description of Work: Removed propane gas water heater and installed a new 50 gallon water heater.

Description of Work: Natural gas installation service company (one man shop, I think). I had natural gas service to home. Company taped into existing gas line, ran about 30' of pipe through patio and house outside walls to gas range in center of kitchen on an inside wall. The work was completed in 3 days of initial contact. The system works as advertised. I have two small negatives. 1. The stucco patch could have been a little smoother. The plus there is that they are out of sight behind walls and shrubbery. 2. The gas pilot light went out in my hot water heater when he purged the gas line and I was out of town and my wife ran out of hot water the next day, no positive side on this one. He should have checked that before leaving. All in all Eddie did an excellent job quickly, efficiently and we are pleased with his work and will hire him again if we need any gas service work.
