+ -1 moreHe cost me about $99 an hour, and he was way too high. He got the work done but the router failed a few months later, and I don t know if that was his fault, because computers are finicky things. I got rid of the router anyways.
Description of Work: They had come over to set up a router, about less than a year ago.

+ -1 moreMr. Addis was very polite and courteous - and he seems to know just about everything there is to know about computers. He worked continuously while he was at our home. We will be sure to call him again as needed.
Description of Work: Mr. Addis connected a printer to our PC, uninstalled programs that weren't supposed to be on both our PC and laptop, installed virus protection on both computers, and worked to find a way to transfer all of the information on our old IMAC onto our new PC. He also came back later with a special disk to transfer our IMAC info onto.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND WORKED HARD TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE A GOOD GROUP. IT TOOK LONGER FOR THEM TO COMPLETE THE WORK, BUT THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY. TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME, POLITE, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. HE ACTUALLY SPENT A LITTLE MORE TIME TROUBLESHOOTING VARIOUS POSSIBILITIES OF THE PROBLEM THEN HE CHARGED FOR LABOR COSTS. HE DID AN EFFICIENT INSTALLATION OVERALL.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A NEW HARD DRIVE AND REPLACED VARIOUS THINGS. WE HAD A COMPUTER CRASH, AND THEY TOOK CARE OF IT PLUS THEY CAME IN AND HOOKED UP THE WIRELESS INTERNET. DID TROUBLESHOOTING ON ONE HOME COMPUTER WITH A NONWORKING USB. REPLACED ONE USB AND, AT MY REQUEST, SET UP AND INSTALLED ANOTHER USB ON A SECOND NETWORKED COMPUTER. PARTS WERE 138.00 AND LABOR WAS 149.98.

+ -1 moreTOOK COMPUTER IN TO STORE. RECEIVED PHONE CALL EVALUATION AND COST PROJECTION WITH IN HALF HOUR. COURTEOUS & PLEASANT. GAVE OPTIONS AND COSTS FOR REPAIR & UPGRADE. GAVE SUGGESTIONS-OPINIONS WHEN ASKED. NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES TECHNIQUES. WORK COMPLETED IN 2 DAYS DUE TO PRIOR SCHEDULING AND DIFFICULTY OF RETRIEVING INFORMATION FROM FAILED HARD DRIVE. CARRIED COMPUTER TO CAR FOR ME. OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE.
Description of Work: EVALUATED PROBLEM, REPLACED HARD DRIVE, REPLACED 2 IDE CABLES, ADDED 256 MB MEMORY, REINSTALLED OS AND ALL UPDATES, DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE FOR PRINTER, CAMERA, OFFICE SUITE, SECURITY, ETC., RETRIEVED AND TRANSFERRED DOCUMENTS FOLDER FROM FAILED HARD DRIVE.
