He then did not respond for 5 days. His response after 5 days: "We are choosing not to bid on the work needed". What a colossal waste of time.

+ -1 moreThey worked a lot more than what they estimated, but stuck with the original price. The whole house was wired really crazy, so they had to come back on another occasion. The price indicates both jobs. They were very professional. They stayed late if they needed to get something done. They were very nice and willing to work with us. They worked quickly and quietly. They would always explain what they were doing. Roberto was really good and really nice. I give him the top rating. I have no complaints whatsoever.

+ -1 moreTERRIBLE WORK! THE SCONCES WERE NOT LEVEL WITH EACH OTHER AND THEY WERE NOT THE SAME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE MIRROR. THE ELECTRICIAN TRIED TO ADJUST ONE OF THE SCONCES TO MATCH THE OTHER AND LEFT A LARGE HOLE AROUND THAT SCONCE WHICH THEN NEEDED TO BE PLASTERED. HE DID NOT CLEAN UP, LEFT THE SCONCES UNEVEN AND TOOK AN HOUR LONGER THAN THE ESTIMATE. AFTER I COMPLAINED TO THE OFFICE, A DIFFERENT ELECTRICIAN CAME AND INSTALLED THE SCONCES PROPERLY, BUT SAID SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAVE TO COME TO REPAIR THE HOLE. NO ONE EVER CAME AND I HAD TO HAVE THE HOLE REPAIRED MYSELF.
Description of Work: REMOVE AN EXISTING LIGHTING FIXTURE OVER THE BATHROOM MIRROR AND REPLACE IT WITH TWO SCONCES, ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE MIRROR.

+ -1 moreTHE ELECTRICIAN WAS VERY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS FINISHED. I PLAN ON USING THEM AGAIN. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THAT THE ESTIMATE THAT I WAS PROVIDED WAS BETWEEN $300 - $400 AND THE FINAL BILL WAS FOR $550.50. WHEN I ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THE BILL WAS HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATE I GOT SOME VAGUE ANSWERS. IN THE FUTURE, I WOULD SUGGEST REQUESTING THE ESTIMATE IN WRITING OR GETTING A CONFIRMATION OF THE ESTIMATE PRIOR TO WORK STARTS.
Description of Work: I REQUESTED THAT A&H INSTALL A TRANSFER BOX FOR THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR.

+ 1 moreRALPH WAS THE ELECTRICIAN THAT COMPLETED THE WORK AT MY HOME. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PERSONABLE. HE HELPED ME DECIDE ON THE PLACEMENT OF THE RECESSED LIGHTS. HE WORKED UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE. HE RAN INTO NUMEROUS PROBLEMS, BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE HOME, HAD DONE MUCH OF THE WIRING HIMSELF, WHICH WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY. THE END RESULT WAS PERFECTION, I LOVE MY LIGHTS (RECESSED/CEILING FAN), AS WELL AS THE LIGHTS INSTALLED OUTSIDE. I WILL DEFINITELY USE A&H ELECTRICAL WHEN I RENOVATE MY KITCHEN. I WILL ABSOLUTELY ASK FOR RALPH AGAIN. OUTSTANDING JOB, I AM VERY PLEASED.

Description of Work: THE JOB WAS A MICROWAVE INSTALLATION AND AN INSTALLATION OF AN APPROPRIATE ELECTRICAL OUTLET FOR THE ABOVE RANGE MICROWAVE. ROBERTO AND ROBERT SHOWED UP AND INFORMED MY WIFE THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION OF THE MICROWAVE. THEY SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED THE NEW OUTLET FOR THE MICROWAVE AND BOLTED THE MICROWAVE ITSELF IN PLACE. WHAT THEY DIDN'T DO WAS INSTALL THE SHEET METAL EXHAUST CONVERTER THAT CONNECTS THE SQUARE DUCT ON TOP OF THE MICROWAVE TO THE ROUND EXHAUST TUBING THAT RUNS FROM THE CABINET TO THE ROOF OF THE HOUSE. AFTER ''FINISHING'' THE JOB THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED MY WIFE THAT I WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE THE PIECE AND INSTALL IT MYSELF. NEVER DID HE SAY BEFORE HAND THAT HE COULD NOT DO THE JOB IN FULL. I CALLED OTHER INSTALLERS (INCLUDING SEARS) AND THEY DO THE ENTIRE JOB FOR LESS MONEY.
