Estimator was early, efficient, and made excellent suggestions. Installer was delayed and could not get to our job on the day scheduled, so he came on a Saturday. Did an excellent job.

The crew of two quickly and professionally installed seamless gutters across the back of our house as requested. Did not compare prices of other similar companies, selected A#1 Seamless Gutter because of Angie's List recommendations. Recommend this company to others.

I was told he would be at my house on Thursday 10/9/14 in the afternoon (no specific time). I was called by 'the office' at 4pm and told that he was tied up on a rather difficult job. He was rescheduled for the 'first thing' Friday morning. No one called. He showed up a little after 1pm. He was done around 2:30pm. The job was done correctly and looks great. I was only concerned that I was left waiting for almost two (2) days.

It went great. I discovered I had a conflict of two appts. for that day and I left the gate open and the dog in the house. When I arrived back at the house later that afternoon the job was done precisely as bid and the grounds were immaculate. They cam;e they saw; they worked; they cleaned up and they left...all without any sidewalk supervision and the job was outstanding. BRAVO A1!!!! : - )

This company called us right back, the estimator/technician met us at the scheduled time, called with rough estimate and the office called us back with specifics. We are closing on the property soon and plan to have them do the work.

We used A#1 in 2013 and had them come back to complete our gutters. Ralph Grau is the consummate professional. He was very knowledgeable about what we needed and color matched perfectly. They have really done a nice job and they are doing all our neighbor. They do just a very nice job and everyone wants them. Their price was very reasonable, it was less than the going rate.

We actually used A-1 Gutter twice, but I am combining both in one review. I scheduled an appt. for them to come out for an estimate. They arrived right on time and were very helpful in explaining what we should do. The day of the job, they arrived right on time and finished in a timely manner. The two installers arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. They installed approximately 180 feet of 6 inch gutters, three 4x5 downspouts, one 3x4 downspout, and left one gutter open for us to install our own rain chain. They did a very professional job and am very pleased with the work performed. The gutters have been installed for a couple months as of this review and it has rained several times since installation. Two times while it was raining I walked around the house to make sure the gutters were draining as expected and had no leaks.

They called a couple of days before and said they would be at our house on Sat. they arrived on time in fact a little early. They were very professional and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

I received a letter from my new homeowners' insurance company in May, 2013 noting several problems with the outside of my house, complete with pictures from their inspector. One of the problems was the box gutter that runs the length of my 60 foot back porch. A portion of it had become so full of junk that four of the straps had broken and it was bending outward, dumping rainwater directly onto the side of the foundation, causing erosion. The inspector also noted the absence of soffit in the front corner of the house where the garage and front bay window are located. That particular problem was left over from my husband's attempt at home repair. The inspector also made note of the fact that we had no gutters along the side of the house. To be honest, I checked many aluminum and/or gutter vendors on Angie's List. It seemed like the good ones weren't servicing my area. So, I went to another free site (sorry!) and plugged in what I needed. I went with A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions because the salesman came out within a few days and actually told me that there was no need to replace the entire box gutter along my back porch (like another vendor had proposed) because it was still in good shape other than the one area with the broken straps. He also told me they would re-install the soffit panels at no charge. As we walked around the house, I asked him about the need for gutters along the side, and again, he didn't try to sell me more than what I really needed. The south side of the house really didn't need anything, and he showed me where they could install a short gutter with a downspout along the north side of the house where a roof valley could be causing an erosion problem. In the front of the house over the front door and bay window, my husband had installed a white gutter many years ago. The fascia board on our house is dark grey, so this thing never looked too good (in my opinion). Trent included new gutters and two downspouts in his proposal that would actually cover a longer portion of the house front, capturing the runoff from the roof valley where the garage is connected and dumping it out onto the driveway. And all that would be the same color as the fascia! After I called to accept their proposal, our area came under a long period of non-stop rain due to a tropical wave or some such thing. Consequently, A#1's crews got backed up, but their office personnel kept me apprised and were always extremely polite. On the day they came to do my job, I was at work, so when I got home around 5:00 PM, the two-man crew was hard at work. They had already installed the new gutters and downspouts in the front, re-installed the aluminum soffit, and were very busy clearing out the muck in that box gutter in the back. I suspect the job was more than they realized (that gutter probably hadn't been cleared in years!) because they were there until around 6:00, sticking it out during a short cloudburst that drenched them both. I watched as they hosed out the gutter until the water came through clean. Then they installed four new downspouts at intervals along the porch, replacing the older, smaller, beat-up downspouts that had been there since the house was built in 1989. They also applied plenty of caulking around the downspouts and areas in the gutter where required. I noticed that one of the downspouts proposed was not installed in the front, but without even having to ask, one of the crewmen pointed it out to me, then explained how the installation of that particular downspout really wouldn't have been very practical. He showed me the boxed-in portion of the new gutter on the end (I don't remember the technical name) and explained how it was all set at a slight angle to prevent back-up. Due to that change, he removed $45 from the original estimate, which I appreciated very much! We've had a LOT of rain since these gutters and downspouts were repaired and/or installed, and they are all working beautifully. I am very pleased with this company and will definitely use them again in the future, if needed. I have to admit that after accepting the original proposal, I went back to Angie's List and found the company on there. Unfortunately, the reviews I read were not very encouraging, so I was apprehensive, but decided to go ahead and try them. I'm glad I did. For me, they did an excellent job!

Called them for an estimate for gutter problems on my Mother's house. Amanda returned my call that late afternoon and set up an appointment for Thursday that week. Trent the estimator, showed up right on time. He climbed on the roof and checked all the gutters and concluded there really wasn't a bad problem with the gutters. The problem was the fascia boards were rotten that hold the gutters. I really appreciate their honesty as my Mother is old and doesn't know much about gutters. So in conclusion, we will have the fascia boards replaced when it stops raining, then call A#1 gutters again for new gutters. Thanks again for your honesty.

The job was completed I thought to my satisfaction until it rained ad I found that one of the gutters covered clogged. I had been told that they were cleaned out. I contacted the office via email. The email was responded to by the person I directed mine to only to find out that someone response in his behalf. I was called by the office contact and immediately challenged and told I must have cleaned them out not their installer. After we agreed on who cleaned them out the installer was dispatched a week later. He arrived and claimed to have no knowledge why he was there. After ten minutes of discussion he cleaned out the gutter. A second issue was highlighted by me, the gutter was sitting on the roof and had to be raaised. I was told he didn't have the erequired nail to raise and he would have to schedule an appointment for me at the office. A week went by and I heard nothing. I called the installer and was told they were busy and that he would call the office. I than received a call from the office and told me it would cost $150.00 to repair; but since I had to wait they would cut the price to $75.00.

It couldn't be better. Everything went perfectly, we wouldn't use anyone else.

Very pleased with the quality of the product. Sales rep was very knowledgable and more importantly listened to my needs. I had a flooding issue on one side of my house, so the sales rep drew up a plan to help reduce flooding. I received a few other quotes from other companies and their proposals would not have helped my situation, despite me specifically stating my needs. Price was competitive and install was done timely. Would do business with this company again.
