A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions

2 different people came out. I got 2 different quotes. I called about the estimates after getting the initial estimate of $1284. They said they could do the work for $1150 after applying a military discount and an Angie's List discount. I asked if they could speak with the owner and get the price lowered a little further. I never heard back from them. I called them back. Craig said the owner said he would do it for $1219. I requested to speak with the owner and haven't heard anything since. I also called last week and requested a callback from the owner and never heard anything.

The 3 man crew arrived early in the afternoon as schedule. Working together they did the work, cleaned up and left within 45 minutes of arrival. The work team were all courteous and thorough in their work.

Steve arrived as scheduled and provided a very detailed estimate for the gutter install. Since I was unable to be present during the estimate, I contacted Steve on his phone and he answered every question that I had regarding warranties, install methods, etc. I contacted the office with additional questions and spoke with Taylor who was equally helpful in answering my questions and concerns. She is definitely as asset. Everyone that I dealt with was very responsive and VERY professional and although I ended up going with someone else, I would HIGHLY recommend A#1 to anyone who is considering a gutter install or repair!

FYI: Looking for super-gutter replacement-i.e. the large gutter between the back of my house and pool cage. A#1 said they do not do super-gutter replacement.

Very smooth and professional at every stage. The estimator came on time, explained clearly what would be done, and delivered a written estimate promptly. The guys who came to install the gutters discovered quite a bit of rotten wood when the old gutters were removed and said that would need to be addressed before new gutters could be securely installed. Of course that created a delay, but after I got the wood replaced it was easy to reschedule the gutter installation quickly. Second installation crew was also pleasant, efficient, and prompt.

Good, great follow up. They forgot photos I requested , photos to send to the owner and I had to ask many times.

I have already reviewed A-1 Seamless Gutters in October of 2015 (can't recall exact date). I was very upset at the time and felt like I was getting the brush off from the company. Since my review, I have had two calls from the company and, along with a very sincere apology, an explanation for my poor experience. As I said in my original review, it was not the work itself?. which was fantastic...but the issue of feeling insignificant when it came to problem solving. I appreciate the apology and now understand their side better and am willing to soften my harsh criticism. I will rate them as a "C" because it still happened but I would rate their product and installation as an A.

I obtained multiple quotes to install gutters, and I found A1 to be responsive and competitively priced. The work was performed on schedule, however there are a couple issues that soured the whole experience with this company. When requesting a quote, I specifically asked for end caps to be installed on existing gutter in the rear of the home where the existing end caps were damaged. I asked this of all the companies I received quotes for. I met Steve from A1 at my home and walked around the property and pointed this out and asked him to include it in the bid. On the day of installation, I met with the installers at the home to make sure that we were on the same page in regards to downspout locations and the that the end caps would need to be installed. They agreed to do it however left without installing the end caps. I called A1 about this and it turns out that Steve did not write it on the bid, despite saying he would. Given the minor cost of this item, a quality company would come back out and do it, instead they insinuated that I was lying about the end caps and would only come back out for an additional fee. It was ultimately a minor mistake on their estimator's part to include something in the bid I specifically asked for (we all forget things and I understand that), but the customer service following that mistake left a lot to be desired. Instead of paying them more money, I ordered the parts and will be installing them myself. Furthermore, upon completion of the job they left various pieces of scrap metal laying in the yard and broke a shrub sprinkler without mentioning it to me. The gutters are fine and the price was right, but their customer service and attention to detail prevents me from recommending them to others.

The entire process from quote to installation was wonderful. The gentleman that came out to give the quote was punctual, and took the time to measure the entire house rather than just doing an estimate. He explained the proposed layout of the gutters as well as the materials being used. Approx 3 weeks later, the crew came out to install the gutters and they were extremely efficient and thorough. The gutters look great - you can barely tell they are there (which is the goal!) Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install gutters on their home.

"I originally used A-1 to install gutters to my recently purchased home in the Spring of 2014. After the terrible rainstorms during the Summer, I noticed a "drainage issue at one of my gutters. A-i did not install this particular gutter but did install the underground drain attached. Steve, the estimator, arrived on time and checked my gutters. He kindly removed a clog of soil/leaves at the gutter/downdrain juncture and did not charge me. I was very grateful and life was well. During the next rainstorm, I noticed the drain "bubbling" at the down spout/underground drain juncture., which meant an additional clog in the drain. I called Steve who proceeded to tell me how I could fix it with some tool from Home Depot. I told him that I was not able to perform this task and would like A-1 to come out and do it. He took down my info and said the office would call. The office did not call so after 1 week, I called them. The scheduler was off that day so I was told she will call me the next day. It has been a month and I have not heard from A-1. I am VERY disappointed. As an installer, A-1 does a fabulous job and I recommend them for that aspect of service. But, I have found that if you have an issue or a problem, avoidance is the name of the game. This is after several thousand dollars of service for this company. Extremely disappointing. If they do not want to trouble shoot problems, they should not advertise these services. Buyer beware. I have found another gutter company who came out and solved the problem in 5 minutes. New champion in town!

Whenever it rains we have water pouring over the end cap on the gutter around our back porch and flooding an area by the door. The original builder never ran the gutters all the way around one side which was approximately 25 to 30 feet. I called A#1 to come out and add a section of gutter and downspout around the side of porch. When the estimator came he said that instead of what I wanted it would be better to install 52 feet along the backside of the house on the second story to solve the problem. I explained that my problem with that was that it was difficult to get up there to clean gutters on the second story with the porch in the way. He said that it was not a problem and they would just install a leaf guard. I was feeling a little like I might be being upsold but he assured me that was the best way to solve the problem and gave me a quote for that and also an option B which is what I originally wanted but he felt wasn't necessary (about 1/2 the price). When the installers showed up I reminded them about the leaf guard before they started. They said that it was not included in the original quote and the leaf guard would cost extra. When I let them know that this was not what I had been told by the estimator and I wanted to speak with their office first they left. The next day I spoke with the office who told me that it would be an extra $200 to put the leaf guard in. I was feeling even more upsold but was willing to allow that maybe it was just a misunderstanding as long as my problem would be solved. They came back the next day and installed the new gutters. I also went out after to make sure the porch gutters were clean. That night it rained and just like it always had water came pouring over the end cap of the porch. After some aggravation and being talked into a job that was $400 more that what I originally requested nothing has changed. I am now having to pay another company to do the work I should have just had done in the first place to solve the problem.

Salesman was very informative. Explained everything. Office staff was friendly. Scheduled and kept us informed. Installers were very good and cleaned up their mess. Showed us what they did. Great job!!

Their rep was on-time for the review and estimate for cost. They performed the installation as scheduled and removed the old gutters.

They came out on the day promised on time and finished the whole job in 4hrs. The two young men were very professional and and friendly. I was worried about a down spout that might drain too close to the house so they added an extra 6ft to drain down the driveway. No extra cost. Interesting how they make each gutter seamless. It is molded out of the back of their trailer. some of the pieces were 40ft long out of a 10ft trailer. It looks great and adds a new clean look to the house. Very happy with the job and cost.

A1 did a fantastic job and the price was very good. Salesperson showed up on time, price was very fair, install took place exactly when they said it would. I wouldn't use anyone else for gutter work.

It was excellent! They did a fantastic job. They were very professional, quick, and tidy. They said they would be there at 8:30 in the morning and they were, and they were gone by lunch. They knew what they were doing, they had everything that they needed, they conducted themselves professionally, and they put down tarps where they were removing items so that nothing got in the grass. They just did a very, very good job.

A-1 Seamless Gutters did the initial installation of my replacement gutters and leaf covers several years ago, but the original downspouts were retained since they were in good shape at the time. The estimator and technicians were very professional and the gutters have been working perfectly. Since A-1 stands behind their product 100%, I called when I started having a leak in one of the downspouts that caused water to pour onto my screened porch. The repair technician was very professional and called to let me know he was on the way. He immediately pointed out the gap in the downspout sections and fixed it with a two screws. Since his previous job was 5 mins away, there was no charge for the service call. Downspout now working perfectly and there is no water on the porch! Excellent service on the original installation and current "repair". And A-1 offers a quality product. I had my doubts about the effectiveness of the leaf covers (having heard stories about them not keeping out debris and making the gutters hard to clean), but the covers installed by A-1 have worked perfectly, keeping the debris on the top and preventing anything piling up in the gutters. They were squeaky clean inside and only required a brushing when I had them cleaned two months ago. Excellent product.

Communication prior to and during installation was professional and accommodating. Workers were on time and professional. In all, my experience was excellent. My gutters look better and were cheaper than my neighbors.

They were great. On time, good cost, great customer service before during and after service. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. In fact the majority of my neighborhood used them with the same happy results.

I had just put on a new roof and had them remove all of the old gutters. House was then newly painted but run off of rain from new roof was staining my freshly painted fascia. I called A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions (ASGS) plus two other companies. ASGS underbid the other two by about $100. They didn't offer an Angie's List coupon at the time but they honored the 5% senior citizens discount which was advertised on the website. The rep was right on time and left an estimate with a hand drawn picture so I knew exactly what I was getting. He actually told me I didn't need gutters on the sides of the house due to the slope of the roof so I saved some money there. I scheduled them the next week. They came out while I was at work and finished the job in a few hours. I got home, inspected the job, and then gave them my credit card information over the phone. The gutters looked great, my painter touched up the stains, and all is very beautiful. All in all the job was extremely painless.
