50% Cheaper Seven Golden Floors Installation

I bought a Big Deal from them through Angie's List, but I got a refund on that. I don't remember how much the quote was. The overall experience was fine. I would use them again to get a quote.

My husband & I hired Adriano Frazatto of Steven Golden Floors to install a 32 sq. ft. Glass tile backsplash in our kitchen ? and we've been singing his praise ever since. The glass tile selected for our kitchen consisted of individual glass slivers mounted on mesh backings that fix together like a puzzle into subsequent adjoining pieces. We were aware that the installation would be time consuming and would require not only a critical eye but also tons of experience to achieve the look that we were seeking. Adriano Frazatto showed up on time to install my backsplash. He was extremely professional, kept his work area neat and was respectful of my home throughout the process. Thanks to Adriano, our backsplash is absolutely beautiful and help made our kitchen the envy of all our friends.

He came, gave us an estimate right away. We scheduled the work and he just came and did his job in an outstanding manner!!!

After several emails to make sure that I had all of the right materials to do the tile floor - and enough tile (which I didn't at first), the set a time to be there and completed the job within the time they had promised, They left things very clean and undisturbed. Sinced I have been remodeling an older house, and dealing with a number of contractors, this was a very good thing! Seven Golden Floors really did clean up. The room looks great and is temporarily serving as an office until I can finish the garage, which will be its final home. Then I can have the gym up and running. And, yes, they will do the tile floor in the new office when the time comes.

I had seen one of Angie's "Hot Deals" and was planning on installing a laminate floor on my own. When I spoke with the owner of the firm, I felt like he was very knowledgeable and that his work would be worth the price - and certainly better than I would do on my first try. I am so glad that I did. They took great pride in what they did and the room looks terrific; even the caulking on the top of the baseboard is absolutely smooth and uniform. They didn't overlook or short-cut a single detail. My only decision now is whether I do tile or hardwood in my new office. I know that they will be doing the work for me, regardless of the material.

I have still not decided if I am going to use them. I rate them high overall.

His quote was reasonable and similar to what I was quoted by others - $2250 for installing about 1100 sq ft of laminate, bringing the laminate from the store to my home (I bought the product from Lumber Liquidators), and moving the heavy pieces of furniture. He told me about 3 days to finish the project. It turned out to take about 4.5 days. There was an uneven spot in the living room that we found after laminate was laid down. So he had to remove the laminate and level the underlying floor. This made the project take longer, but I was glad to see he admitted his mistake and took responsibility for this. He did not charge me to level the floor, and I paid for the leveling materials he bought from Home Depot. Overall, we are very happy with the work he did. He cleaned up after he left, put the furniture back the way it was originally, and had great communication with me all along. He also painted the molding for me before installing it without charging me for the labor, and charged only for the paint and painting supplies. So it ended up costing a couple hundred dollars more than the quoted $2250 when including the other supplies like the leveling materials, painters tape, paint, etc. Not too bad. I would recommend Adriano to others and would consider him for additional flooring work.

Seven Golden Floors showed up on time, completed the work at the estimated cost, and cleaned up afterwards. The travertine looks beautiful - they did a terrific job! I would highly recommend them for the quality of their work, their price, and their professionalism; I plan to use them again for other flooring work I need done at my house.

Adriano was very easy to deal with, came to our home and gave us an estimate, spoke with us numerous times on the phone during the month it took us to decide on exactly what flooring we would use, and then did an exceptional job with the installation itself. We will definitely be using him again to put hardwood in the family room and tile in the bathrooms.

Adriano is the Michelangelo of Tile.... The job is beautiful... I was looking for someone who was not going to sub out the job, but do it himself. Some of the larger companies charge more and use subs that are not that experienced. I was looking for someone very experienced in mable and granite. Adriano In my opionion fit all the criteria. The estimate was very, very reasonable. He was very fast and neat. The tile cuts are superb. The granite floor looks amazing. After going to several flooring companies to price hardwood floors for both materials and labor, I decided to price compare if I hired my own installer. Adriano came to my house the same day I called. Since I was still undecided on what wood flooring to purchase he suggested some alternatives. I was unfamiliar with stone tile so I had never considered it an option but after seeing pictures of it installed I was hooked, especially when I learned it wouldn't cost too much more than the hardwood floors that I was still undecided on. He referred me to a couple of places to shop for flooring and I purchased the tile at the first store I went to. After selecting what I wanted (French Pattern travertine tiles in Country Classic) the sales person, Cheryl, handled everything from that point on, contacting Adriano for the measurements, ordering the needed materials, setting up delivery etc. (cost for materials was separate). The workers arrived on time, removed the old carpeting, some existing ceramic tile, hauled it away and unloaded the truck when the tiles were delivered. They also very carefully moved my furniture into one room while they laid down the tile in another area. (many flooring companies charge extra for moving each piece of furniture). They worked non stop finishing the job a day earlier, replaced the furniture where it belonged and cleaned up the area. The floors are beautiful and my neighbors also love them. I am so glad that I did my research on Angie's List and contacted Adriano otherwise I would not have this gorgeous floor. Thank you all.

Went very well. Picked up the laminate and delivered 3 days before installation at no charge. Finished about 800 sq. ft in 2 days.

After seeing a coupon offer and with a high price for labor from another source I called for an estimate. He was quick to respond and came right away. I was impressed with the quality of work shown in pictures of other jobs - primarily tile in baths. We wanted a quote for labor to install laminate in two rooms and replace ceramic tile in the foyer. He inquired about who he was competing with and when I told him he commented he'd probably be doing the work anyway because he subs for them. After measuring he asked what they'd measured and said he'd measured the same. He also asked what they were charging and I told him. When asked about the coupon he said he'd honor it at the end of installation. He didn't want to include it in the estimate because he said some people asked for the discount up front and then expected to use the coupon when paying. He said it didn't matter if we bought the coupon or not he would give the discount. But he wouldn't put that in writing. At the end of the process his bid was almost identical to the competitor. It included labor for both laminate and tile installation with us providing all materials. It was no where near 50% less so we didn't use them.

Adrian was very nice and clear on the phone. He did exactly what he promised. He was on time, worked very fast and accurate. He did not leave any mess after the work and didn’t chat too much though he explained everything very clearly and gave good advices. I am very pleased on what was done.

He came last week and gave to me a very percise estimates with options as to what he would provide or who I could purchase. I opted to purchase the tile and rely on him for all the other supplies, which certainly worked out to my satisfaction. He scheduled the appointment and estimated that it would take two days buyt finished in less than that time. He is very thorough and takes great pride in his work as if he were doing it for his own home.

Arrived on time with pictures form various tile jobs. No doubt this would be a good service for any bathroom remodel/tile remodel. However, we had wall damage, needed electrical/plumbing done as well so the fit wasn't really right. No issues though. Estimate was just for tile so it's hard to say if the price was fair or not.

We just were not comfortable with the way this installer was trying to up he price at the last minute. We chose another installer who did a very good job for less than 7 Golden quoted. We have used the same installer to also complete a bathroom and a fireplace.

Adriano explained every step of the way and let us know exactly how long it would take and what was involved. He was extremely professional, punctual, and friendly. His work was 100% better than the floor that was installed previously! I felt his installation was a good price, considering the workmanship he put into our floor. He worked very quickly and efficiently. He objected when I started to pick up things after completion, saying he would clean it all, which he did, and then he returned all the furniture to it's original place. We would definitely recommend his services for flooring installation!

The whole installation took approximately two weeks (one week less than quoted) and that speedy job was done despite a few delivery issues with the tile (my fault) and a last minute decision to install hardwood flooring in the master bedroom. Adriano took every change in stride, made excellent recommendations in the tile design and the vendors he referred us to had a great selection of products at very reasonable pricing. The guys on his crew (Jorge, Richard and Primo) were just as professional and had no trouble working around several visits from the plumber, granite guys and carpenters who were all just as busy on other projects in our home at the same time. They even SAVED me money when my plumber claimed he couldn't remove my garden tub without breaking it (due to improper installation during construction) and was planning to quote me on a whole new tub. As the plumber left with dollar signs in his eyes, Adriano's guys smiled and waved ....and then got their prybar (with my consent). After two "prys", the tub popped free of the concrete "base" as easy as if they did that everyday. They were happy to offer and I was very happy that I didn't need to buy a new tub!!! Moving and then doing extensive renovations was something we weren't looking forward to, but Adriano and his guys made the process so much easier! They were courteous, always cleaned up after themselves and the finished work looks fantastic. They deliver quality, professional work with excellent results at a great price! Adriano is" that guy" whose number you want to keep in your phonebook and are all too happy to share with your friends. When it comes time for our next projects (stoneface for the front of the home, hardwood in the guestrooms and new backsplash for the kitchen), there is only one person we will be calling.

Adriano was very professional. He is easy to reach and quick to respond to phone calls. He arrived on time and gave us an honest estimate for the service. He was also very helpful and gave us good advice; he told us when something was unnecessary or didn't need to be done. He didn't try to sell us on anything. I already bought the laminate floors from Home Depot and he agreed to pick up the laminate himself. He installed the floors very promptly. I am very pleased with the service that he did. The floors look great! I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend him. I will try to update this review with a picture as soon as i get my room furnished.

After orignally scoring this provider as an F, Adriano personally called me to clarify any misunderstandings. He has given me a revised estimate that is very reasonable. I am working on scheduling an installation date & will report back on his performance.

These guys did a great job! Some of the tiles were uneven and they took the time to shave them down so they would be perfect. I am very pleased with the quality of work!

Adriano came in and gave estimates for our bathrooms, and immediately I knew he was going to do a good job. He suggested his ideas on layout and colors. He recommended us to Stonemart to pick out the material, where we picked from a great selection. The shower is beautiful.

I saw the "Big Deal" coupon for thiscompany. I had a tile installation job for a bathroom, approx. 50 sq. feet. Adriano quoted me "Approximately $300" to lay the tile, I indicated that I would like to use the Big Deal coupon for $300 worth of tile installation for $99 for the job. Adriano acted like he was not familiar with the coupon deal and when I reminded him it was on Angies List, he said he was very busy and couldnt possibly do the installation for up to 6 weeks. (90 days) Interestingly enough the Big Deal expires in 84 days. I have since engaged with another installer on Angies List to do the job.
