We were building a new construction home which required different inspections from both the bank and the building department. There were so many delays on our part due to other failed inspections, waiting on different engineers to perform their part and pass their inspections before the driveway could be poured. Through it all, Dominic responded and to every phone call, answered every email and was very accommodating in scheduling us last minute to get the driveway and walkway poured. He was even able to schedule the concrete company when we couldn't find one. On the day of the job, the team showed up on time and was very professional. Dominic showed up later to make sure we were happy with the work, which we were. They came back a few days later as promised to cut the expansion joints and do the final pressure washing. We are very satisfied and more importantly, our client is very happy.

It is my pleasure to write a review for Ross Services. They did an amazing job for us from start to finish. I did a lot of research as our job was a large one. We extended our patio, put in a patio floor, re-fenced, and completely redid our pool. I was looking for a family oriented company with a solid reputation that could take charge of the whole job. From the moment we met with Greg, I knew Ross could be this company. Greg was creative, giving me options and discussing the pros and cons of each. He was patient and very knowledgeable. After two meetings, I asked Greg for references and he sent us to several homes to see their work first hand. I also need to mention that the price was very fair compared to the other quotes, I received. We were very pleased with the overall quote for the products we selected. Our job was completed in two weeks and it is gorgeous! Greg and his crew worked with me to make sure I was 100% happy with everything. My husband and I couldn?t be happier and could not recommend Ross higher! Every time I look out to our patio/pool , I am in love. It?s not often that you can write a review like this ? I feel very fortunate that I did my homework and found Ross Services. Ross Services is a company that does great work but even more important cares that their customers are happy! You do not have to hesitate to hire Ross Services , they are great people!

We choose this provider over others because of the wonderful reviews we read, although the price was lot higher than other providers. So we expected a wonderful experience and nice pool. We have a nice pool but unfortunately we didn´t have a pleasant experience during the project. We would not recommend the provider Job started 1 week later. There was no communication with the project leader, unless we called. We were not informed when people was coming to work, what they were doing, what we should expect, who was coming or what we should after the work was done until we had to specifically asked. The customer service was not professional, specially for a 7700$ project. First time I called the office, they told me I have to talk only to the project leader and not received more information The job didn´t have supervision. They have people working who know their job, but we needed a link with an overall project that we missed At the end, they said it was finished, leaving the backyard a mess. We had to called to talk to the owner directly for him to see himself the result. He was nice, he came and hired a person to fix a little bit the mess that they left in the grass (not all). The quality of the job performed in the pool is very good, we are happy with the pool. Still, as we talked with the owner, the customer service during the project was not good and it was too pricey for the customer service that we received.

No work done at this time but will consider Ross if other estimators do not pan out.

Greg is a very professional, and just and overall great person. He came over with samples I choose travertine stone and it came out great. The crew was great, cleaned up and I would definitely hire again.

I contacted Dominic from Ross Services after three estimates. Dominic was on point and very honest with his product. Ross Services pulled the permit for me from The City of Hallandale Beach which was a longer wait than expected. But at the end of the day everything came out the way Dominic described it to be. Ross Services did a beautiful job on my new driveway. The only thing you have to be patient with the permit processing for The City of Hallandale Beach. [Member name removed]

I have intentionally waited six months to write this review, thinking that I would have a better perspective. I DO NOT. Mike Z was the fifth contractor to bid on the job and I was fooled by his sales spiel. I admit it, he told me exactly what I wanted to hear and I fell for it. There are three things you need to know before you consider hiring this company. #1. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THAT MIKE Z SAYS, OR BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT MARTHA SAYS, IF IT COMES FROM MIKE Z. Before signing the contract, he understood that we were working under a time constraint and that if he couldn't get the job done by a specified date, he needed to tell me. He missed the deadline by three weeks due to their incompetence and assorted mistakes. As a result, my homeowner's insurance was within hours of being cancelled. #2 DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING MARTHA OR MIKE Z TELLS YOU AND DOUBLE CHECK THE WORK AS IT'S BEING DONE. When the crew came to remove the existing driveway, I asked the foreman three times if he had checked the sprinkler system for damage. When I was ignored the fourth time I asked, I turned on the sprinkler to find out for myself. One line was completely severed, two others were split. The foreman said he would call Mike Z that night (Friday) and that the sprinklers would be repaired the next day. That was not done and when I called Martha on Monday, she didn't know anything about it. Also, Martha had not called for an inspection on Friday, as she said she would. The sprinkler repair was partially done on Wednesday, the same day that ONE inspector came. Martha did not know that the City of Hallandale requires inspections from both the engineering and structural department. The job has now been delayed one more week. #3 DO NOT LET ANYONE AT ROSS SERVICES PULL THE PERMITS FOR YOU - DO IT YOURSELF! Hallandale Beach has a one-day walk-through program that neither Mike Z or Martha knew anything about. After the permits has been pending 4-1/2 weeks, I called the Permit Department myself and within 10 minutes had all the permits pulled. Within one hour, I was at City Hall paying the fees and collecting the permits. Mike Z's response was "how was I suppose to know?" I think if you're going to work in Hallandale Beach, Margate, Davie or any city, it is your responsibility to know what the permit process is. Finally, the concrete was scheduled to be poured on Monday but when Mike Z found out that an inspector would be around to make sure that the corrections she wanted were made, he started scrambling to get a truck out on Saturday. One truck appeared but they ran out of concrete before the pour was complete. Another truck came and they ran out of concrete - AGAIN! The result is the southern quarter of the circular drive has a significantly deeper swale than the northern quarter. So deep that unless I am extremely careful, I will scrape the front bumper of my car when pulling into the driveway. After the crew removed the forms used to pour the concrete, they left. I had to pay a landscaper $350.00 to bring in top soil to fill in the trenches they left and sod to even out the lawn. In some places, the grass was 6" inches higher than the driveway, in other places the lawn was 4" lower than the driveway. It was a trip-an-fall lawsuit just waiting to be filed! Then I had to pay a sprinkler company $241.00 to replace the damaged lines that the other company ignored. Did I ever get an apologize for the botched job and missed deadline? NO. Did I ever see Mike Z after the day he got the contract signed and collected a deposit? NO. Did anyone from Ross Services come out to inspect the job or ask me if I was satisfied with the results? NO, NO AND NO! Half-way through the job, I was so disgusted with Mike Z and Ross Services that I called a customer service representative at Angie's List to ask about the online reviews. I was, and still am, convinced that at least half of the "A" reviews posted are fraudulent. The customer service representative urged me to file a complaint; the response from Mike Z was that "the job would have to be delayed" Since we were already 10 days pasted the deadline, I did not file a complaint. Based on my experience, Ross Services receives a D- review and a warning to anyone considering hiring them.

Ross Services was very professional. The crews that did the work: arrived on time, were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Greg Ross was on site daily to supervise his crews. He called if there was a change of plans (due to weather). He kept us informed and was easy to work with. I appreciated the suggestions he made and went with many of them. The pool looks amazing and I love the Euro Tile on the patio. A job well done in a timely manner! I would highly recommend Ross Services

Very well. The team worked hard. Time tables were met. We worked with Greg, who was very responsive to every question we had. The job turned out great and we are very happy.

Had many quotes for pool resurfacing and patio resurfacing and some where cheaper, but Ross Services was the only company that made us feel comfortable after explaining the entire process and what the different things that were needed. Communication with Ross Services before, during and after the job was done was excellent, called day and night and always received a response. Like everything there were issues with the project, but Ross Services was prompt to resolve them. I have had all friends and family called and they think the backyard looks like a completely different place. Will always recommend Ross to all my friends and family.

Ross removed the existing Mexican tile on the patio and replaced it with Travertine tile. To that end they hammered out the existing tile, poured a concrete slurry on the patio to level it prior to installing the Travertine tile. That part of the job was well done. My son paid for their service and materials with the assurance the site would be cleaned of all debris. One I arrived home a few days later I looked over the work and found concrete slurry splashed all over 4 sliding glass doors, 4 double hung windows, all the screens for the sliding glass doors and the double hung windows, the accordion shutters, the brand new aluminum picket fence, the air conditioner condenser and the freshly painted walls of our home. In addition the remnants of the Mexican tile were scattered all over the lawn adjoining lawn and worse puddles of dried concrete slurry surrounded the work site. I immediately called the owner who assured he would get his clean up crew on site. A week later I'm still waiting. In the meantime I have spent at least 40 hours doing the work myself. The bottom line? Pick another contractor and no matter who you use don't pay him until you are satisfied with his work.

Not only was everything done exactly how we wanted it to but it was done faster than we could have imagined. We would specifically like to thank Greg for your patience on coming to house multiple times to answer questions,then the phone calls. You made this project very stress free for us and we thank you for that. Please call me if you would ever like to show the pool and patio or need a recommendation!! I will call you when we are ready to do the driveway!

Called twice spoke to a lady in office who was nice and told me owner would call me back. no call. I put in a request online and they did not honor anything they said they did. do not hire

Final job was exceptional. Some minor hick-ups with the driveway that were promptly taken care of. Very responsive company. Will likely be using them again later this year for another project at our other home.

We had a great experience with Ross Service. Scott their representative was very knowledgeable, and professional. Everything was done in a timely manner, and some minor glitches were taken care of right away. The driveway looks outstanding. Ross Services is an A+ company to deal with. Most strongly recommend you use them.

I called for an appointment for a free estimate. My call was returned promptly by Joel. He made an appointment with me and called for permission to come a little early which was fine with me. Joel explained in detail all his products, their differences and his recommendations. He measured the area I wanted done and gave me a reasonable estimate, There was no pressure and he demonstrated extreme professionalism. My appointment for the install was approximately one week away. Joel and his two workers showed up on time and got right to work. The whole job took about 7 hours even though, almost at the very end of the job, we had a torrential downpour; but that did not deter them. As soon as the rain almost stopped they finished the job and cleaned up very well. Joel called me about 3 days after the job was done to make sure I was pleased with it and asked if it was OK to now process the payment. This was such a customer-friendly thing to do and I am happy to have been able to deal with a company that is not "hungry". I am very pleased with the outcome and so is everyone else I have shown the pictures to.

Ross services was an absolute joy to work with. From the initial phone call, to the estimate and completion of the work, I have zero complaints. Justin was professional, explained pricing, materials and options in great detail to help me make the right choice. They even came back and added molding along the wall which made a truly finished look after I realized how bad the home builder actually finished off the bottom of the house. The 515 sq foot patio was done in one day and I couldn't be happier. I have gotten quotes from other companies and they were all outrageous and some never even showed for the estimate at all. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for patio work. I just wish they provided more services as I would absolutely use them again!

We called for an estimate. Ross came right out and provided us with a fair price as compared to other estimates. The next day, they came out and refinished the pool deck. They were very patient and made several samples of colors until they found the perfect combination of colors for us. They then drained the pool and acid washed the entire diamond-brite surface and my pool's interior tiles, making it look brand new! This was a surprising bonus as I didn't expect this added service! WOW, what a difference! My old pool came alive and looks brand new! The job was done timely. The workers were all friendly and experienced. They were all pros with many years of experience in their fields. Owner Brian Ross came to my house several times during the process to oversee the job and insure our satisfaction! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROSS OVER ANY OF THE OTHER COMPANIES I INTERVIEWED! As a side note, I called the product manufacturer with a "chemical question" and mentioned that I used Ross. They highly praised Ross as being a reputable company with an outstanding warranty record with no issues of bad installations. They also were not happy with some of the other companies I had interviewed and said that I was "lucky I chose Ross as compared to the others".

Provider clearly states that they perform concrete repairs, when calling the company for repairs they told me that they don't do repairs!!!!

Scott, the foreman for Ross services, was very professional and friendly and was integral in expediting the completion of our new driveway. We are extremely pleased with the results; our driveway looks beautiful!! We would recommend their services without hesitation.

Our pool deck was terribly cracked and the skimmer leaked like a sieve (a big part of the deck cracking in that area I'm sure) plus the pool hadn't been resurfaced for 15 years. We had called several companies (before calling Brian) to get estimates on repairing the deck and resurfacing the pool. 2 people actually showed up, both said the screen enclosure would have to come down for repairs, neither ever called us back with an actual estimate. I found Brian here on Angie's List. He called me back immediately and showed up exactly when he said he would. He assured us he could fix all our pool's problems without removing the screen. He even had diamond brite and travertine samples with him so he could give us an estimate on the spot. He also offered one year financing at 0% interest. He assured us the work would be complete in one week and it was. His crew was very professional, Brian showed up every day and answered all our questions. The pool looks fabulous. I would (and have) highly recommend this company.

From the beginning Greg Ross was a pleasure to work with. I am a retired Florida General Contractor with 30+ yrs. in S. Florida. I found Greg and his team very competent, punctual and professional. They demonstrated the skill set that enabled the job to be completed within the 7 day schedule. One thing I noticed early and liked was that not once did I notice any of Greg's team standing by idly, "holding up a shovel". Greg was on the job daily to answer any questions/ concerns I had. These were very few! Ross Services were very diligent after I accepted the pool and cut my last check to make sure no unexpected issues came up and handled them (2 minor issues) the same day that I called Greg. I would use them again, but I don't expect to have any need for pool renovation for quite some time. Give Ross services a shot, I think you'll be happy. Tom CGC 035936
