I am very pleased with the service I received. I contacted two companies to provide a quote for doing a deep clean of my home and on-going maintenance cleaning on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. The quote provided by a different "maids" service was $500-$600 higher than the one I received from Two Maids and a Mop. While I believe that there may be varying levels of quality in cleaning services you can buy, I have difficulty believing that this other service would have been worth $500-$600 more than I what I paid Two Maids and a Mop. I got my estimate on their website based on the square footage of my house, how many people and pets live here, and a self-assessment of how dirty the house is. I was a bit skeptical that they provided the estimated total without coming out to see the house first, but that seems to be how they operate. I was contacted promptly by them after submitting the form on their site and we setup a date for them to come out. I provided my credit card info so that they could bill me for the total of the cleaning on the day before they showed up. The day before they called to confirm the time and the two maids showed up right on time the next morning. They got right to work in the kitchen and bathrooms. They worked hard for about 4 hours but left the place very very clean. I could have spent an entire day cleaning my own house and probably not gotten it as clean as they did. All in all I think the service was well worth the money that I paid for it. I plan on having them come back for maintenance cleanings once per month.
