Team Concrete

The prep work took three or four days, longer than expected because of the rainy weather we had but the resulting bed looked very good. The screen inclosure person who visited the site for his measurements even complimented on how good the prepped site looked and planned to recommend Team Concrete to his customers. We had a problem with two pvc water pipes for the pool that were cut when removing the old concrete but that was because the pipes were just under the concrete and couldn't be avoided ( in order to remove the old concrete, saw cuts needed to be made to make breaking up the concrete easier). The new concrete was reinforced with wire mesh and rebar, unlike the old deck, and should be very durable. In fact, the patio is really overbuilt in that the 2 lower corners of the site are about a foot thick and should not be affected by erosion or being undermined. The concrete was poured at midday and the job was finished by 5pm. The area around the pool where the concrete made contact was neat and clean. I am very pleased with the results.
