+ -1 moreI was ready to approve the $2,600 proposal then noticed a detail was missing from the proposal that we had discussed. I asked about the missing item and she wanted to add the item, which included 3 stepping stones, in at an additional cost of $30. Tallahassee Nurseries did not seem to want to accommodate me and even though the $2,600 would have amply covered the additional cost of $30 - which should have been included in the first place - I declined. Business must be good if they are willing to lose a $2,600 contract over $30. I had already paid $75 which should have been deducted off of the proposal (and was not) so I am perplexed at this. Maybe this job was not big enough for them.
Description of Work: I paid $75 for a consultation for a plan for my backyard.

I replied the same day. I waited 10 days before sending a follow-up email. Still have not heard back from them.

Description of Work: I was getting several consults on landscape ideas/services. Tallahassee Nurseries was one of them. The person who came was friendly and helpful. Spent about an hour looking around, making suggestions. Sent an estimate of some work we'd talked about possibly doing. Took a while to get the estimate but I had been told it would because of how busy the person was. Decided not to go ahead with the proposed work. It was more than I wanted to spend, thought it was a bit overpriced, but not sure about that. Ended up deciding to work with another landscape company whose ideas I liked better. But have always had good experiences with TN and would use them again.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was way out of our price range so we will NOT use them. They have NOT responded to our calls and have not returned our calls.
Description of Work: We contacted Tallahassee Nurseries to give an estimate (for which they charge 65.00 if you do not use them) for landscaping in problem areas along our driveway. We told the representative we wanted very low maintenance; low growing plants in the areas and we did not want a lot of plant material. His estimate came back two or three weeks later with a drawing that was NOT to scale and packed with hundreds of plants (lots of tall plants).
