 + -1 moreMy husband and I cannot begin to tell you how great this company is. Mark Manning is a hands-on contractor with top-notch crews that are knowledgeable, efficient, and highly professional. From electricians to plumbers to flooring and countertop installers to tile setters, all were diligent and careful and friendly and proud of their work, as well they should be. We had a kitchen reno (minus new cabinets) and a master bath reno. Mark brought an innovative idea for our master bath which turned out to be perfect. AND all of the work was completed in two weeks!

 + -1 moreDo ask what the minimum size job is. Since we never got a response from him there is no way of knowing if that is the reason he wasn't interested in the job. If so, it would have been nice if he had just said so up front. As it was I waited another week before I called for someone else to get the work done.
Description of Work: We called to have him come out to look at some work we needed done on some exterior wood rot. He charged $50.00 to come out to look at the job which was to be applied to the cost of the work if we decided to use him. Mike Manning came out and explained that we would really need to be able to make it "worth his while" to come out and do the work. I showed him what needed to be done and asked him to do a walk around the house to see if he could identify any other problem areas he could help us with. Since my husband was not at home I asked him to give us an estimate broken out by the jobs, e.g., bay windows, replacement of some railing on the deck, etc. He said he'd been so busy that he would not be working over the weekend and that he would email the estimate the following Tuesday. To date I have not received a call or an email. Must be nice to be making so much money that you can afford to blow off potential customers. Needless to say, we went with another independent contractor.

 + -1 moreMark Manning followed up almost immediately to a message on his answering machine. He came to our home looked at each project and gave us an estimate for the total amount of work to be done. He set a date for the following week. He and his crew of two showed up at the appointed time and immediately set to work. They were careful in what they did and checked in regularly to ask if they had it right. They found some additional damage to the exterior of our home and fixed it for a small, reasonable additional charge which we approved in advance. These craftsmen were polite, quiet, competent, and professional in everything they did for us. Mark even did a few jobs extra at no charge. They cleaned up all the scrap and there was no evidence of anyone being on the property except that everything was ship shape. We strongly recommend them and would go to them first the next time we have any repair work.
