Horrible service that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Run while you are ahead. Deric Gaines took my deposit and cashed it before coming to the job, that he was 3 hours late too. He was supposed to secure the concrete and the necessary things to get started. Deric moved 2 half filled wheel barrels around of dirt, used my wood and tools, didn’t completely frame the area. He didn’t not pay SRM concrete for them to deliver so the job was pushed back. Deric then wanted me to pay the concrete company for them to deliver the load. SRM explained he has a fractured relationship with the concrete company, so they would not deliver the load without payment first. After I explain to him that that’s not what the agreement was and what was written on the invoice and that I would not be paying more money until the job was completed. He stopped answering my calls. He will over charge ask for a deposit and then your calls will go unanswered without the job being completed.

Not good. Price included fiber in concrete, side note, price kept increasing. They assured me fiber was in there. I did not see it so I called the concrete company and they confirmed no fiber in the concrete, was not requested. The slab was for a metal build, the slab was not not even close to square. I will include pics if possible.
Description of Work: asked for 20.2"x25.2" slab for metal building.

I asked them to pour it so rain wouldn't puddle on the driveway, and they assured me that it wouldn't. The first rain that came through there ended up being a puddle about 4'x10' that wouldn't drain, they ended up cutting an ugly groove to let the water drain. They came out once to look at it and then promised three times to come and repair it, but they never came and now they're not answering my calls. They're nice guys but they won't follow through with their promises.

My experience was very good. I will admit that I had hesitations, being a single mom, but Pour Guys actually came through in a big way. I will say first that the owner was extremely friendly yet professional and he remained that way throughout. I never called our business transaction a relationship and he addressed me by Miss and my last name. It actually made me comfortable because I didn't feel like they were here for any reason other than what they were hired for. When I initially met with Mr. Gaines, I had ideas of what I wanted. He listened to them and then gave me suggestions which I felt were creative, more economical, a better use of my space (duh) and an all around better idea. He walked with me to show me why he felt the way he did. He told me both ideas would work, did an estimate for both and in the end left the decision up to me. They gave me a start and finish date and started a day early. The finish date was a few days late but it was due to the weather conditions and a supplier. Since they started a day early it was really ok. Although very early and really late, they scrambled the next days to get the job completed. They did ask me ahead of time about the neighborhood ordinance so I didn't mind. My parents told me that was still a really good estimate of time because they'd had an experience with months and months of delay. Everything turned out great and they were able to negotiate good deals on the needed supplies. They asked if I would like to write in the concrete. I though that was so sweet. I'm very pleased with the service I received. The crew was very down to earth and seemed to like their job. Their a locally owned family business of hard working guys and I'm glad I chose them. They were quite funny to listen to on days that I was home. I was a tad concerned with them messing up my yard but they left everything in the best condition possible considering the weather. I would hire them again in a heart beat and I highly recommend them. My parents were able to observe them working and was also very pleased. They are thinking of getting a new driveway and patio for game day parties too so I have already given them the number to Pour Guys. I've hosted game day on my new patio and entertainment room I love the new side entrance and all my guests love our personalized walkway. I wouldn't let one oddly bad review turn you off. I would just call them and talk to them to find out for yourself. Even McDonalds gets bad reviews but just as in my case, I feel they would do their best to make things right.

Pour Guys Concrete Inc. I don't think they are equipped to handle a big job and I think it was possibly underbid. They did quite a bit of the work but the last $6500 that they got out of me I felt like they the driveway and then they wanted me to hire them to do the steps and the sidewalk. retaining walls, sidewalk and pouring a patio. When they did the driveway I was fairly pleased with it, but it needed to be fixed in several places which they were going to include that since I was going to hire them to the rest of the work including the patio and everything. They formed everything up and wanted the last bit, I owned them another $3000 and they wanted the last $3000 to pour the concrete and when I stopped and said no, I'm not paying any more until everything is poured because by this time it's May 22 and I said I'm not okay anymore until it's poured and satisfied. It kept going from the weather this guy turned one of my blocks backwards on the retaining wall, he had to come back and fix it and then they put the retaining wall in it was crooked, the guy had to come back and fix the retaining wall five different times, it was eating up time, to the point where I was like look if you guys aren't going to come out and pour today I'm going to get someone else. They kept on and on. That little bit of money that I owed them I think wasn't worth the effort to come and finish the job. It was a pretty big job and for them to come and finish the job it was just too much for them or they couldn't afford to, if he had to pre-pay for the concrete he said he couldn't get it credited, so that to me had a red flag if he can't get concrete on credit. I felt like like a little shady, I also had been hearing now that I've looked for other concrete people that I'm not the only one that this has happened to, I have been hearing a lot more about them, bad reviews. Little jobs like if you want a 10 x 12 concrete pad poured they will be there in a day and they will pour it, get your money and they will go, no problems, no questions asked. But if it's anything more, a big job and needs a lot of detail, they kind of drag them out or they don't do them to the highest expectations and someone has to come back behind them and fix it. They did do work, it's not like I gave them the money and the didn't do anything. I've got someone else coming in to finish pouring the job and it's costing me more time and money . They were really nice, really felt like too nice now that I look back on things, it's like I'd been conned in a way. One of his workers came to the house asking for money saying that he didn't receive money from Eric and was asking for it from me and of course is not going to happen. Things like that started happening, that's when I decided that I was going to terminate my relationship with him and his company. For something small I think they would come out, pour it, they were very nice guys, they really know how to con you if you want something more than that. I would just advise people not to give a big job to these guys, it will not get finished, but a small job you will see all have "A's" the big job I felt like I was taken advantage of. He had his son pitch me a landscaping big, he kept pushing things on me, I felt like he was just trying to get more money out of me. I'm glad I didn't do more with him. He will not be recommended to any of my clients, I have a very large clientele. I just terminated my relationship with him. My advise would be to not over-promise someone. If you are going to do something you give a quote, do what you are going to do. If you underbid something, have the balls to say hey I think I underbid this job, if I run the figures it's going to be this much more and just flat out say it instead of working trying to drag it out, keep feeding money and then when I stop that's when his work stops. It almost felt like everything I was giving him was getting spent somewhere, I don't know if his company is in trouble or what. I didn't realize that the jobs that were on Angie's list were small jobs, easy jobs and what I was pitching at him was a very complicated and I expected to spend at least $20,000 on this job. He took it upon himself thinking that he could do it and finish it and he didn't. If you can't do the job just say this job is too big for me, you might want to get someone else that has more experience. He kept saying no, no we can do that. I'll take care of that. Everything that was coming to me was making be believe and it broke my heart because I felt like I had a relationship with him because he was such a nice guy. He was like I'll be with you until the end. I'm going to go through all this with you, I'm going to be there when you open your doors. All this promising, promising, promising just made it worse because now I'm hurt.

Lowest quote received out of three. Cracked driveway was removed and both areas were framed up / poured and completed in 2h 45m. All waste material was hauled off property. Very happy so far for the workmanship. Very friendly. Advised it would take 3 days for the concrete to cure. Quote and services were performed in one afternoon.

They worked late (past 8pm) to complete the job which was greatly appreciated (cannot park in garage or drive on new driveway for 3 days after new concrete poured). Price was competetive, but the best part was how quickly they got here and completed the job.
