Description of Work: I have used Pool Tech for pool upgrades, repairs and service. We also used them for pool service when we are out of town. We have found Wally to be very knowledgeable, dependable and trustworthy.

Description of Work: Pool clearing and other pool services

Description of Work: Our pool pump was not working when I attempted to get the pool clean and running for the season. It turned out to be a bad timer. We also found out that the wiring between the timer and pump was done incorrectly when it was originally installed. We had a booster pump for a Polaris that we no longer used, so we wanted that removed from the system, too.

Description of Work: Weekly pool cleaning.

Description of Work: We had a serious water leak in our pool. I called on 6/2 in the morning and Wally Womble, owner of Pool Tech, came out himself, that afternoon. He checked the pool for leaks and fixed them. Wally took the time to answer some other questions I had regarding the liner and spa, giving suggestions and solutions that were inexpensive and innovative and never once pressured me into anything. Several weeks later, we had a baby water moccasin enjoying a swim in our pool. I called Pool Tech, left a message and within 15 minutes, Wally called me from his vacation (he was out of town). Always up for a challenge, I wanted to try and get it out myself. Wally gave me a few suggestions, but said he would send out one of his tech's. I was adamant about doing it myself, but his suggestions were helpful and I succeeded!

Description of Work: Wow! Not a peep from the company in response to multiple emails asking if they could do some work. Not even the courtesy of a reply saying, "Sorry, we don't do that type of work." Cannot evaluate their workmanship because they never responded at all to multiple emails asking if they did pool painting and if they repaired spa leaks. Nada. Nothing. UPDATE: Finally got a return call after three email requests. Caller just said, "I've been busy" as his reason for not responding. I was then told if I painted my in ground pool, it would wash off "within 6 months." That's not true. I've painted it before and it's lasted 3 or more years. This company is clearly not interested in minor repairs for older pools. He was interested in a complete re-marcite job, but that costs thousands, not a few hundred that repainting costs. He also said they did not repair spa leaks. That makes them 2 for 2 in being unresponsive to my pool and spa needs. Makes me wonder why they list themselves as a "pool and spa" repair service. I won't be calling them again for any estimates. Period.

Description of Work: After being overcharged for a couple of years by a pool and spa service that rhymes with "rain", we called around and found Wally Womble's company, Pool Tech. They charge a flat fee with no add-ons, and even have done minor repairs (like replacing a broken handle on a diverter) at no charge.The pool always looks good, and a plus is they blow off the deck after they are done. The spa at first had gritty residues when they were done, but after we complained they seemed to find the right combination of chemistry and it's been fine.
