 + -1 moreI have been doing business with Kyle for 6+ years now and I have always had great experiences with doing business with him. He always diagnoses my computers for free of course. I've never had to take my computer back to him after a repair that he did for me. I got two refurbished computers from him and they have always worked great, and he will work with you even after the warranty expires if needed. He's always been very nice, very patient, very respectful and honest to me since I have been doing business with him no matter how busy he was at the moment, and he always remained consistently nice, patient, respectful, and nice no matter how many times I called him during the day! And he does work on all Apple products and sells refurbished computers and some Apple computers. Just call him to find out what he has in stock before you go in! If he doesn't have it, he can always special order it for you for new products only of course!! I would definitely very highly recommend him to anyone!!

Description of Work: My laptop froze and would not open. I dropped it off and they told me they would do a free diagnostic and let me know the cost. Received a call the next day with all info I needed to decide it would be worth having a new hard drive installed. I was able to pick it up the next day and it's running just fine. I purchased an additional protection program as the one I had was outdated. Happily they were able to retrieve almost all of my documents etc. I now backup my computer to my external hard drive several times per week. Highly recommend Panhandle PC. My husband had used them last year and was very pleased with the service they provide. I am as well.

Their diagnostics are free, and once they determined that my hard drive was dead, Kyle gave suggestions on what I should look for in a new computer, as well as suggesting an amazon-like computer website to check. After my new computer arrived, he quickly was able to retrieve all my files and programs from the dead hard drive and replicate on the new computer, overnight! YAY!! Thanks Again!

Description of Work: Erased hard drive and reinstalled operating system and some software. Had to make USPS EK749318875US, Delivered, Frt Dsk/Rcption 03/09/2015 11:41am BLAIRSVILLE GA 30512 Reply HELP 4 help-STOP to cancelrepeated visits (40 miles roundtrip) because the computer was always updating With a promise to come back in an hour". Phone calls were always "it's updating but will be ready in 45 min, an hour, etc." When we got home and turned it on it went immediately into "upgrading" mode. The owner did not offer any explanations or apologies for the situation. WE had to go to another store who ex planned what should have been done and how we could do it ourselves. NO CHARGE. Panhandle might be able to handle simple thing but not something as technical as what was needed.

Description of Work: Basically, they cleaned up the computer, especially the fan. It was overheating. It took too long as there was somebody who was out sick. I think a professional organization should have enough backup to where an absent person wouldn't delay things so much.

 + -1 moreGreat. Dropped off computer on one day and the next it was finished. He even asked me how I wanted it configured and did it. These guys are quite knowledgable and competent. Matt does the computer repairs and we've also had him build a desktop computer for us. He let me order the parts, CPU, motherboard, video card etc. that I wanted, with a little help from Matt to select components that he knew would work together and then in several days, went the parts were received, he built it. My buying the parts saved me quite a bit of money. It's been a couple of years and the computer still works as well as the day he built the system.

 + -1 moreWe had a great experience. Matt was professional and polite. He gave us an estimate of the charge for virus removal and said we could bring the PC in immediately and he would begin work on it. The service only took a couple of days. We would definitely recommend Panhandle PC.

Description of Work: I needed help transferring digital images from my memory card to my laptop. The staff at Panhandle PC were extremely helpful and professional. I called first to ask if this was something that they could help me with, drove to their store within about 15 minutes, and was assisted right away. The technician that helped me gave me step-by-step instructions on how to download the images, and even offered advice on archiving, as well as an inexpensive device that I could purchase for less than $15 which would make downloading images even easier in the future. There was no charge for this service. I would highly recommend Panhandle PC for their promptness, friendliness, and professionalism.

Description of Work: I spoke with an employee at Panhandle PC today, but I had done business with them back in August. At that time I had a free diagnostic check done. My laptop was irrepairable, there was no charge. In fact, they bought it from me for $20.00! The hard drive was demolished because I had dropped the laptop. Today, I called to get advice about anti-virus software. The gentleman helped me choose, did not pressure me into buying from his store, and encouraged me to call back if I needed. I highly recommend Panhandle PC because they are sincerely courteous, helpful, patient, and reliable.
