Mr. Stump was very responsive to my need to get a crepe myrtle removed from near my home sewer line and stump ground just before Christmas. Also very reasonable rates.

I got a call almost as soon as I put the request into Angie's List, I couldn't believe all quick it happened. Mike said that Jordan could come by and give me an estimate. He showed up within 90 minutes, gave me a quote, I authorized the work and he was finished within 4o minutes. Jordan did an excellent job and left my place looking great. I'm VERY satisfied with the work performed for the price quoted. I would hire Mr. Stump again in a minute. I highly recommend this company. And thanks Angie for recommending this small business!

All went very well. Spencer did everything he said he would do, in a timely manner, and for a reasonable amount. He is a very pleasant young man, easy to work with and I would hire him again, no question about it.

When I called, Spencer had room in his afternoon schedule and came on up. He'd given me a ballpark figure over the phone based on my job description, which his on-site survey confirmed. Without further ado, he rolled the Stumpmobile off Its trailer and made short work of the stump of a 40' maple and that of a 10-12" diameter dogwood, was after which he cleaned up and went on his way. Spenser was focused and professional, adept at operating his machine, pretty impressive in its own right. He was also very personable and well mannered, an interesting and pleasant young man who seems of solid character.

Spencer was a very personable and professional young man. We walked the property looking at the assortment of stumps needed grinding. He gave me his price and I fully expected he'd say we'll put you on the schedule. I said Ok let's do it. He said "I can do it right now"!!!! He proceeded to get his rig off the trailer and fire it up. In about an hour and a half he had traversed my property and ground away all of the stumps we discussed. It's a monster diesel machine. I was fascinated watching it. Once he'd finished grinding, to my surprise, he went back to each stump area and leveled the mulch. I'd hire Mr.Stump again in a heartbeat! Great to work with!

This was the third service I called. The phone was answered -professionally- on the second ring, they took my information and agreed to call the next day 30 minutes before arrival, and before noon. Exactly as promised, they called at 8am, and the gentleman (Spencer) who showed up to do the estimate was courteous... and also brought his equipment. The price quoted was very fair and I was pleasantly surprised that they completed the work right then. The work was done as promised, the job site was cleaned up, and I couldn't be happier.

This is the best tree service in town! We've hired them at least three times -- and they are amazing. Our yard went from a neglected, over-shaded mess to a sunny oasis thanks to Jason and Mike at Mr. Stump. They are prompt, reasonable, hard-working and get the job done -- fast! We highly recommend them.

I probably would use them again just because their pricing was much more reasonable. They did not do a good cleanup. They could have cleaned up a little better.

The owner came out and looked over an area I had cleared, gave me an estimate with which I agreed and he began work immediately. It took awhile but he cleared the area so that I could get my lawnmower in there to keep the unwanted tree and weed growth down without tearing up my lawnmower. The area is much easier to get in and out of now and I think he did a great job.

He is great. Job is done quickly and efficiently. We have tried renting a grinder and doing it ourselves, he is worth the money.

I called Mr. Stump at 10:15 today. I explained that I had a stump with strong roots that needed to be removed next to my swimming pool. He quoted me $75.00 over the phone and sent someone out within the hour. My stump with the surrounding roots was removed by 12:00 today. He was very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

I called Mr. Stump based on a previous recommendation and because one of the highly rated tree servicing companies on Angie's List also said that they sub-contract with Mr. Stump for stump removal services. He gave me an estimate over the phone based on what I described. His estimate was a bit lower than another estimate I received, and the fact that an A-rated company also recommended him was enough for me. As luck would have it, he was available the very same day. He arrived on time, and we confirmed what he needed to do and how much it would cost. He removed a panel from our fence ($25 to take it down and $25 more to put it back) because one of the stumps was right up against it. He then used his machine to chew up the three stumps and a lot of roots popping up everywhere in the yard. When he was done, he put the fence back up, collected his money, and went on his way. He was both friendly and professional. We got exactly what we paid for, and there were never any doubts about what things would cost or what he would do. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

I had a dead pine tree on my property and 3 other trees which required removal. Mike Nissley (owner) was scheduled to come at a later date but due to a storm warning her came earlier to take down the tree and potentially avoid a disaster. He and his crew worked quickly and cleaned up all the debris. Highly recommend this company.
