Excellent team of cleaners! Loved the fact that the team was bonded and work was guaranteed. But I could no longer afford the rate that was charged. I have had to go back to a single non-bonded housekeeper to help me with the household chores I am no longer able to do myself even since surgery.

The ladies who cleaned our house were always very nice and professional, but invariably missed something. We would call and explain what was missed and they would offer to send the person out to fix the problem, but it wasn't worth having them fix the thing. Then they would either miss the same thing the next time or a new thing. We had the service for a year and had about four different cleaning ladies over that period. They all did a good job, but would miss different things. One lady never vacuumed the stairs or emptied the laundry room garbage. One lady never emptied the bathroom trash. One lady always left random cleaning supplies lying around the house. Our comments went unheeded from cleaning to cleaning.

Let me first say that most of the women who have come to clean my home have been professional and considerate. They've worked hard and usually done a pretty good job. When I have had an issue (something not getting cleaned, bleach stains on rugs or clothing, etc.), I'd been able to call and get it taken care of with fairly minimal fuss. There was one woman who was with us for several years, which was a blessing because she got to know us and our home and did a lovely job. Some time ago (maybe a year or two), the management changed at Merry Maids in Tallahassee. And then, about six months ago, the woman who had been our regular finished up her degree and headed off into another field. The combination of these two events meant that we were suddenly getting a new person nearly every time someone came out. The timing was all disrupted too - they'd come sometime between 9am and 5pm, even though they had said they would be out during a specific window. I would have to specifically confirm the time/window every single time they called with the reminder (or call them, when the reminders didn't come or went to voicemail), and even then the maid would often arrive hours outside of the window. This last time, the woman (new to us, again) arrived at 5pm, about twenty minutes before I got home from work and needed to unpack groceries, cook dinner, pick up my son, etc. She did a great job, but had cleaned several houses before mine that day, and was here until nearly 8pm. I would have been significantly happier if the office had called to say they had some sort of issue and asked if I would prefer her to come so late or to reschedule for the following day. But they did not. I had asked for a regular cleaner again several times, both because it gives me more peace of mind knowing who is in my home while I'm at work, and because my dog tends to be terrified of new people if I'm not home to calm her down a bit. From what various women have told me when I have been able to be home for the puppy introduction, it seems that something has happened that makes their take-home pay lower than it had been previously (or at least, not as high as their competitors). While I don't know if that's true, I can say that Merry Maids had not raised their prices in more than five years while I was a customer. That's great, but not if it means the women who are doing all the cleaning aren't getting paid what they're worth. I finally had enough with the last session, but it was the cumulative effect of months of issues. When I called and canceled my service forever, the interim manager just said she'd mail my key back. She didn't ask why I'd decided to cancel, inquire about any service issues, ask if I was moving out of the area, or even say she was sorry to lose my business. After more than five years, I expected...something. But I think this is just one more sign of the issues that the company now has here in Tally.

My son used Janet, and I asked for her, she will not leave until all is spotless. Merry Maids is the best!!!

Our Merry Maid is great. She does a thorough job, she focuses on something extra each visit AND because we agreed to a year of service, the first visit was $110 instead of probably $300 or so... If we cancel, we only have to pay the difference for the first visit. The owner of the franchise was great to deal with up front, and we're incredibly happy with them--each visit is with the same Merry Maid, which is nice. We had two other companies come by to talk to us before we made our decision, and they both offered higher estimates. We definitely made the right choice.

I have used Merry Maids on and off for several years. Initially, the quality was good, with MM sending two people to clean. However, gradually the quality went down with them sending only one person who spent less and less time cleaning, missed entire areas altogether, and generally did a very cursory job. I finally decided to stop using them when they broke an antique statue that had been in my family for many years and didn't even tell me but propped it up in a corner of my dresser so I wouldn't notice for several days.

The price was a little higher than I anticipated but I was satisfied with their work. I will use them again in the future.

I just completed my contract with them. They were thorough in their cleaning. They were professional when it came to any complaints I had. The price was reasonable.

I signed up for a year's service and they come weekly. They are very professional as far as the cleaning goes. They have to do better with their timing. They are supposed to be here at 2 pm on Thursdays. Sometimes they show up at 2:30 or 3. I like to have the cleaning done before my husband gets home so if they are late, that sets my whole household schedule late. I compared prices and their price is good. I will continue to use them.

They were very good and dependable. They were a little expensive in comparison to the other, but, their job was good. Every other week they, charged $100 for a 4 bedroom house. They were prompt and knew how to tackle my dogs. I recommend their services and will use the same in future
