After waiting 4 months (not the 7 weeks originally promised), my cabinets were installed incorrectly so that they scrape and bang into the walls. I had Tony threaten to withhold my countertops, leaving me with an unusable kitchen, unless I made an extra/early payment. I did not know it at the time, but this threat came after they had cracked one of my countertops. They were also not prepared with the edge I ordered. I was promised discounts that were not provided. I got my final invoice with no discounts with 30 days to pay. On day 25, Tony sued me for non-payment. It seems to be a common way for him to handle problems. Go to [*** Link removed ***] and search on MASTER GRANITE, BELLA CABINETS, TONY BIANCO and A BIANCO. If you can look through page after page of his court cases and still want to do business with this man, I wish you the best.

This is a shady operation. The owner told us that they would be happy to connect the faucet to the plumbing, then decided they wouldn't (with no explanation). The installation was a disaster. They don't use their own people and contract with a couple of guys who do their installing. The two guys--who didn't speak English--arrived four hours late and they had broken the sink on the drive over. When they returned with a new sink, it was the wrong color. When I attempted to figure out the mysterious flip-flop on the plumbing situation, I had a hard time getting Master Granite to call me back. There was a lot of "Let me check with my boss and get right back to you," followed by crickets. These guys don't really seem to know what they are doing. I'd go to a more reputable and skilled outfit, thus saving yourself many headaches.

When we got the original contract, we were told that it would take two slabs of granite to install our counters because they wouldn't quite fit on one. This was fine, but since we were told that they didn't "buy back" partially used slabs, we asked if we could get back to them with some additional counters and get a quote for the cost to use some more of the already paid for second slab. The salesperson said no problem. After sending them a drawing with additional counters (bathrooms, etc.), we received a quote that was higher than we'd hoped for. We told them we couldn't afford that much and wanted to just install the kitchen counters specified in the original contract and told them we'd save the slab remainder for later use. We were at this point told that the salesperson had erred in the cost (and was no longer employed there) and that they couldn't do it for the quoted contact price. My wife was trying to deal with the owner, Tony, at this point while I was out of town, and he told her that it would cost an additional $500 to do the kitchen. She "declined the opportunity" and he said she could pick up the deposit. I was hoping to complete the original deal and contacted him on my return. After talking on the phone, he had apparently not understood what was included in the original contract (his accent can make clear communications difficult) and said he thought he could do what had been originally discussed for the original price. He asked me to come in to go over the details so we were sure we were on the same page, as there were a number of things about the original contract and the discussion that surrounded it about which he was unaware. That get together seemed like a good idea. I received a call 30 min before the appointment telling me he had a "warehouse emergency" and could I reschedule for two hours later. No problem. When I arrived at the new time, I was greeted with, "Oh sorry, he just left. He had to meet with a client." ?? What am I? We'd already given him $2,000, seems like we warranted some "client time" as well. During the month this whole thing took place, it seemed like every call and contact showed disorganization. I expect this upon occasion, sometimes things just don't work well, but it seemed like everytime we tried to do something we met with problems. Phone calls to the store often went answered, and messages left on their answering machine when this happened often did not result in a returned call. "Sorry, we've been really busy". It is my impression that they know what they are doing with the mechanics of creating granite counters, but their management is poor. We decided that the continuous problems probably meant that the potential for a good outcome was poor, so I asked for--and received--our deposit back. We will look for a different contractor.
Description of Work: We selected granite for installation of kitchen counters, received a contract and paid 50% of the contract price as a down payment. The quoted price seemed reasonable and they subsequently sent someone to take measurements.

Their service was good. There is one place on the granite that is cloudy looking, they did not resolve that for me.

From the time we first stopped by the Master Granite store to view the huge selection of granite and marble slabs on display, until the finishing touches on the expert installation of our counter and vanity tops, we have been impressed with the excellent performance of this company. Not only does Master Granite have the widest local selection of exotic and beautiful natural stone slabs, the staff of well-trained, experienced craftsmen turned our granite and tile choices into gleaming jewels - completely transforming our kitchen and bathrooms. All of the staff were highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic about our project, courteous, and professional. The whole team worked together seamlessly providing their various skills. The fabrication was completed locally at the Master Granite warehouse, and we were able to work with the fabricator to custom tailor the placement of the various counter top pieces. The turnaround time for installation was very fast. The installation team displayed great care and precise attention to detail in placing the counter tops. They made every effort to minimize the mess, and cleaned up after their work. When Tony, the manager, says, and quot;We want you to be happy, and quot; you can believe it - he insured that it happened that way for us.
