Your referrals were all poorly chosen ! None had the skills needed to even start on this porch! I am totally at a loss to refer your company to anyone of my associates. I was however able to secure two proposals from local contractors I found and gave the project to the lower bidder. I am quite satisfied with the completion.

We called several other contractors to get quotes--none returned our phone calls. Amber called us back promptly and Seth was on time to make the repairs. Handy Helpers may charge a bit more than other contractors we've used in the past, but it's worth it to us for prompt, reliable, quality service.

We called three handymen in Tallahassee, FL. We did not get a response from two of them and many days passed before one finally called us. He came to do an estimate of the work we needed. The estimate was a bit high, but we agreed and waited for him to send us an estimate by e-mail. When it arrived, it was even higher and too much for us, so we did not use him. We have not gone to Angie's list again. We never did hear from the other two numbers we called.

We were very pleased. We had wood rot on front porch and adjacent fascia, and on trim around back door. We called and left messages with several places. I was concerned that it might take time for providers to respond and do the job, given the busy season. Handy Helpers returned our call in 2-3 days (no one else returned our calls) and scheduled work within a week or so. Very accommodating in terms of scheduling. Work was done as we expected. We would use them again for similar work.

Left message to get work done and they never responded in any way, shape, or form! Extremely disappointed!! I don't appreciate being ignored!

I was pleased with the work on both occasions. I did not get a call the night before for the second job. That would have helped since I could have explained what the problem wasn't.

He did all the tasks well, especially repairing shutters. They looked new. Although the cost was higher than I expected when getting an estimate, the fact that it's a franchise may have be part of reason. I was happy he did so much quickly and well. I would hire him again if I could afford his price.

We have used this company three or four times. They are wonderful people and are extremely hard working, honest, trustworthy and prompt. Their work is beautiful and we would highly recommend this company.

My call was returned within 1 day. In the meantime (because this was an immediate need) I'd found someone else to do the work. However, based on my conversation, I will keep them in mind for future work.

He did a beautiful job. We're proud of our new porch. He worked so very hard and it was so very not and humid, what a wonderful company Handy Helpers is, we will use them for all our small home improvement jobs and would recommend them highly!

I paid with a groupon, but I feel like I always get my money worth.i've used them 3 times so far. They r very professional and curteous.

Seth was very professional. He kept me updated with every possible aspect of the daily job process. I was very pleased with Seth and his service.

They are great and I think this is a fairly new business. The owner was good and it is a family business; they are the sweetest young couple. This company is reliable, trustworthy, clean and neat. They are very skillful, honest and punctual but maybe a little expensive. I will use them again in the future.
