First of all we had been there several times before because the lawn mower would not start. Previous to the last visit they cleaned the carb, replaced fuel filter, spark plugs, and some tubing and wires. This second visit or third visit they replaced the carb, and fuel pump. When I took the mower in I looked at the hours on the door m-f 8-5. I got there friday about 4:40 and the doors were locked. No one there. I called Mon to find out why they were closed. That the door said they were open to 5PM on Fridays. They said on the internet it says 4:30 pm - I said well I don't always have access to the internet so I looked on the door. They said oh well. Then I went the next available day - the mower did not start so they had to keep it and do some more stuff. When I finally picked it up I asked about a warranty - they said there are no warranties because it may not be the same problem. Well less than a month later we could not start the lawn mower again. It is apparent they do not know how to fix a mower that won't start. I paid about $300 for repairs and it still won't start. They are too expensive, do not warranty or guarantee their work and don't know what they are doing. They said they would try a different carb to see if that fixed the problem - it did not. So they kept the orig carb that had nothing wrong with it, billed us for a replacement carb, and did not give us the old one back. After we said we wanted the old one back us they gave us an old cracked carb which was not the original one they took off. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

The responsiveness to my need for pick-up was quick and professional. The repair was done quickly and my mower returned back to me quickly. The quality of the repair was excellent, the price was excellent, and the professionalism was appreciated. This is the repair service I will use for future needs and very nice people to work with. A first class act!

Overall. ok. A little more expensive than I thought it would be. Took a little longer than I expected. But the repair worked and has stayed repaired since.

My lawn mower quit on me halfway through my job, I looked up lawn mower repair shops in Tallahassee and found Band T Small Engine Repair, called them and they said drop it off. "What's your turnaround time?" I asked and was told "A couple of days." I dropped it off and got it back 4-hrs later! The price was cheap and they even cleaned up my mower, sharpened the blade and changed the oil all for a very low price. Tim was the guy who took my order, he was very efficient and polite.
