Paul and Frankie did a wonderful job. They identify the problem areas and did a well organized and meticulous series of steps to prep and finish the job. Without causing wear or problems anywhere. Another problem was two corners that had huge planters. I wanted them gone and he suggested Long Concrete & Bloc, who also did a great job filling in those first, so the rest could start. The patio has definition and the pool is the highlight as it should be. We are extremely pleased.

This company did a fantastic job at reasonable price. Paul, the owner of the company, was great to work with. He was punctual, honest and knowledgeable. My husband was very impressed. We would highly ecommend Cat Resurfacing to anyone in need of concrete work.

Paul and Frankie completed the work agreed to per a written scope of work and then some without any additional charges; move pool furniture and grill from the deck; paint decking around the perimeter of the screened cage. The pool deck looks great and I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to anyone looking to get their pool deck resurfaced. It's too soon to tell how the surface it going to wear with time but if it should require anything, I feel confident that Paul will come out, assess the situation and suggest the best way to take care of it. There are no warranties on cracks, crack repair, wear surfaces or water ponding but that's standard with most contractors. All of the existing cracks were fixed however and even planter areas that had been filled with concrete 12 years prior were prepped and covered with the new finish in the best possible way. If you are looking for an honest contractor that works with integrity and does what he says he is going to do, you should call Paul. Also, the owner and his assistant do the work; they don't subcontract the work out. The owner shows up, works the job and is always available to answer questions.

Paul was a professional and very honest and hardworking. The work was completed to our agreement and we are pleased with the results. Paul was less expensive than having the pool company do the work and I was pleased to have someone with his amount of experience do the job. He was a pleasure to work with from the initial quote to the completed work.

Paul and his crew arrived on time as scheduled, ready to work. Everything went as planned and they did an excellent job! On the first day, they pressured washed the pool deck, then filled in a multitude of cracks in the concrete. On the second and final day, they returned as promised and re-painted (stained) the deck per our color choice. They even painted the outside edges of the deck that are outside the pool cage, which the original pool installer did NOT do. The pool deck now looks much better than it did when it was new. We are very pleased with the work that was done and would recommend Cat Resurfacing to all of our friends.

Rain hindered their progress but not their attitudes. They were on site early, everyday. Used extra care to protect the surrounding areas (screen enclosure, pool, house, doors.. etc). Very professional, they did an excellent job from start to finish. When the job was done they cleaned up completely. I'm very satisfied and would recommend Cat Resurfacing to my family and friends. He provided a previous job for me to look and and talk to the homeowner before I hired him. Paul was easy to work with and the work was done when scheduled and completed on date arranged. Paul and his crew were very professional. The porch floor and pool deck look amazing. Small problem with area where finish peeled but Paul came back as soon as I called without hesitation and fixed. His price was excellent and the workmanship very good.

The deck looks amazing and he gave me full instructions on how to care for it. Left me with over half a gallon of stain for touchups. Couldn't be happier!

Our pool deck was falling apart. We were referred to Cat Resurfacing by our pool company. Called and made an appointment. Paul arrived on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about concrete refinishing. In addition to refinishing our existing pool deck we had enlarged the deck to include an additional 10 x 4 section. Paul assured us refinishing both would be no problem and would look as if it had always been there. He was right! He and his employee did a fantastic job. He was very patient while I selected a color and even provided some samples for me. They refinished the texture so well it's impossible to tell where the deck was disintegrating! I would definitely use Cat Resurfacing again and would recommend him to anyone.

They were recommended highly on Angie’s and then when they came out for the estimate I liked it and then my wife had called them another time and they came out and talked to my wife although she wasn’t pleased with the conversation. Pricing seems about right.

Cat Re-Surfacing had to apply a thin concrete surface around my entire pool and patio to fix several drainage issues created by a previous contractor. He also fixed my French drains and opened up a few new drainage holes to ensure all water would flow away from the porch. Once that was done, he applied a cool deck finish, paint, and a skid-resistant top coat. And it is beautiful! Paul is wonderful and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

I was given a detailed quote for concrete work; provided unexpected solutions to a few problems I didnt't think of, plus took the extra step to put me in touch with other contractors who could potentially perform addtional work installing pavers and a screen room. He took the time to research my property and understood where all the easements were located.

Our pool deck was deteriorating. The cool deck surface had lifted in many areas and burst open revealing an old epoxy and pebble base that had disintegrated. We called several companies to give us an estimate. Paul could have recommended a huge re-do job. Instead, he said the most cost-effective way would be for us to do the prep work ourselves and he would come back to do the final coating and finishing. He then gave us detailed instructions in how take up the damaged areas and patch them. Which we did. He came back when we were done with a helper, finished the repairs, and the pool deck looks great. He's not only talented and profoundly honest, but a very nice guy. The total bill for both for both of his visits including a full mornings' work with a helper was less than $300. Not only that he gave us some supplies.

We had a fantastic experience with Cat Resurfacing from start to finish! We have an older pool home. When the pool deck was originally poured, it was done incorrectly; and as a consequence, never drained properly...causing a nasty continuing mold problem and drains that permanently clogged up. Paul came out and explained what needed to be done structurally and cosmetically to make our deck functioning & beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised by the quote...very reasonable for the amount of detailed work that needed to be done! Paul and Danny worked meticulously over a 4-5 day period to do the following: Pressure clean deck, Crack and crevice filling, Expander strips installed to prevent future cracking, New pvc drainage system installed, New concrete overlay to build up sloped areas, Drainage testing between concrete applications, New deck surface with color of choice laid down and sealed. Our new deck is BEAUTIFUL!!! Paul and Danny are professional, precise and an absolute pleasure to work with!! Plus they do beautiful work! You don't need to look any further than Cat resurfacing for you're concrete needs...and you'll know as soon as you speak to Paul on the phone....He's a gem!

Excellent. Paul provided a detailed estimate very quickly , and was selected for the job because he really has the experience , is very professional, and knows his business. Was able to complete the job is a very timely manor , and did an excellent job. And his cost was very reasonable. He was very helpful with color selection , and was willing to put on multiple color test areas for us to decide which color went best with the pool tile. The contractor who did the last refinish job and built the waterfall , did a very poor job with material selection and used no bonding material between the waterfall assembly ( plastic box ) and the concrete on the top. Paul rebuilt it and used the correct bonding materials so the concrete bonds with the waterfall assembly and massive cracks don't come back SO BE VERY CAREFUL IN THE MELBOURNE FLORIDA AREA CHOOSING YOUR CONCRETE RE FINISHER !! Paul is an excellent choice and has many years of experience , he knows his stuff !!

Looked good when finished! Couple of minor dings in ceiling above covered part of deck from handles on rollers hitting ceiling.

Wonderful! I shopped around and have no regrets with my selection. I only wish I had more resurfacing or other work to do around our property as this is one contractor you will not have to stay on top of. A breath of fresh air. They took the time to make the pool deck look perfect including cutting out the old drain system and installing a new cap over the entire run. Clean up after the job was satisfactory as well.

Paul was awesome. He answered the phone when we called for an estimate and showed up a couple of days later at the arranged time. He was really friendly and wrote out a detailed estimate on the spot. His estimate was in the lower range of the estimates we received, within 5% of the lowest bidder. We contacted him to do the work and he said he would come out and do it at his next availability, which was about 10 days later. A couple of days before he was scheduled to do the work he called and asked if he could come out a day earlier as they had finished a job sooner than planned. We said sure, come on out. He said he would be there at 7:30am, and he was there at 7:30 am on the dot. His associate Joe joined him and they went right to work. They were there even earlier the next morning and the job was complete by the time we got home on the second day. There was no waiting, no hassling, no mess, and the results are great. We would definitely recommend Paul at Cat Resurfacing and his associate Joe from Downing Construction, and we are considering have them do some more work on our home.
