First Class Fence & Stump Removal

Wonderful to work with, easy sale. They listened to my need for the gate to keep my morkie from running through the slats, it turned out beautiful. I've gotten many compliments! The installer was a gentleman and professional. The apt. was scheduled for 8:00 am, he was earlier and I was able to make it to work on time! I would definitely recommend First Class Fence.

From start to finish they were superb. Everything from the estimate to the updates on permitting and the scheduling and execution was excellent. I would highly recommend First Class Fence. They are professionals.

Very knowledgeable of product, installation and permitting. More expensive than other bids, but you get a stronger product and more professional installation. Other installers used a post hole digger and cut off length rather than digging through the hard South Florida rock to put posts in to a proper depth. First Class had the proper tools to do the job correctly. Everything was thoroughly explained up front and the execution was exactly as described. Follow up with the city and my HOA was flawless. I was updated regularly through the process and I never waited for a response to any question or concern. I had no doubt the job would be completed perfectly. Installer even arrived early to make sure he got the information he needed from me and I got to work on time. This was totally stress free for me. Very rarely do you have no regrets after having work done...I am regret free and thrilled with the results.

First Class was First Class! A local husband and wife team that walked us through every step of the way from estimate to final inspection. Rebecca is very detail oriented and very responsive. She explains everything about the process and what they are doing and what else is needed. She handled all the paperwork with my city, which is notorious for being a permitting hassle. Alan and his partner did all of the work themselves...no sub-contractors. I knew who I would see in my backyard every day, instead of being surprised by random workers that changed daily like in some other projects. Alan explained the reasoning of why he does certain things a particular way...even though it may be a more difficult process for him, it's the RIGHT way to do it without cutting corners like many companies do. In the end, everything came out awesome. My fence is the envy of my neighbors. I got quotes from multiple vendors for this fence. Although they weren't the cheapest of the bunch, First Class was priced very reasonably compared to other vendors. I think you get what you pay for with these type of projects, and it shows in Alan's quality workmanship. I would absolutely hire them again for fencing needs.

Fabulous...Great...Incrediable. I HIGHLY recommend First Class Fence. They are very professional yet friendly from first contact to very last step. I cannot think of anything negative. They met or exceeded ALL our expectations. Answered all questions. Were able to start the project before anticipated and completed the entire project in 2/3rds the estimated time. If you need a new fence and want it done RIGHT give these folks a call.

The entire process was flawless due to the stellar professionalism by First Class Fence. Communication was ongoing with updates and punctual performance. All questions were addressed. The process does take time, so patience is key. The installation was done by a true craftsman. Every detail precise! Absolutely thrilled with the end result!

TOTAL PROFESSIONALISM AND PERFECTION FROM BEGINNING TO END-and I am not easy to please!!!!

Let me be clear from the beginning. There is no other fencing company in South Florida I will ever call. I would only recommend First Class Fencing to anyone who asks. All problems concerning my installation were directly caused by hurricane Irma. But First Class Fencing was there to guide me through the gauntlet of delays and raw material shortages to eventual completion. My only complaint is strictly esthetic and on the backside of the fence. I do not like that the fence posts were trimmed with a chain saw and no guide line leaving the tops uneven, a little crooked and shorter than I am used to seeing. I'm not losing any sleep over this detail and in a few weeks I won't notice it anymore. You will find it difficult to see in the pictures. Most importantly, my fence looks great, is ready to weather the next hurricane and the gates are much more secure than before.

Everything was installed as planned without any delays or complications. The fence looks great.

I loved working with Rebecca and Alan, they always kept their commitments and even though they have a ton of work, always kept me in the loop on the status of permits and paperwork. It only took them two days to remove my old broken fence and replace it with new PVC and aluminum fencing. They were always very professional and did high quality work. I highly recommend them.

Rebecca was amazing with walking me through the permitting process and providing updates of our installation (we had to wait a bit for materials, due to shortage after Hurricane Irma). She never left me hanging or wondering what was going on. Allan and his installation team completed the job early (planned initially to take 3 days, but only took 2), and he even went above and beyond to assist with final landscaping needs which were not within the scope of the original proposal or final contract. My new white PVC, 6" privacy fence looks BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE IT! I felt so confident in this company, that I immediately hired them for a separate welding repair job of rusted patio columns (job complete and came out GREAT too!). Excellent - My request for a quote was promptly responded to explaining that they were still in high demand which is understandable and they would work me in as soon as possible. A few days later they called to say they could come the next day with arrival between 8 and 9 am. They were here at 8:10 am, gave me a quote which we agreed to, and work began. He did an awesome job being very careful to work around a phone line and the house foundation. The yard was raked and everything left clean. I highly recommend this company as they are prompt, show up when they say, and do quality work.

Had delays due to permit problems (city to blame) but the team was very patient helping me through it. Job was top notch.

Amazing - once all the paperwork was in order, the entire job took less than five days. We love our new fence and the dogs really enjoy their back yard. The quality of the materials and workmanship shows. Professional, courteous and true to their word - this company is first class.

MY RECOMMENDATION: USE FIRST CLASS FENCE!! PROFESSIONAL AND QUALITY WORK!! I had a somewhat complex job involving a 20 year old ficus hedge (dying due to white flies) that was planted too close to a chain link fence that over the years grew up and imbedded the chain link fence and posts in the ficus hedge row. I needed a company that had the equipment and expertise to tear out the ficus/chain link and also install a permitted fence. Hands down I strongly recommend them if you want professional service and a quality product. PROS: - Professional: A very professional and courteous team that performed the work! - Estimate: From the first visit to give me an estimate and proposal of the work, they were very professional and took the time to explain every step on how they were going to get all the ficus trees and chain link fence out and install the new fence. And how they were going to walk the permit through. The estimate was spot on, no changes or cost over runs! Plus they were very flexible with me when I decided the day of install I wanted to remove one very large coconut palm, they gave me a quote on the spot and added it to the work order. No fuss or difficulty! - Punctuality: On time every day! - Attention to detail: Every step of the process they spent the time to make sure it was done right. In addition,they took extra care to clean up the work site daily. I was NOT left with any messes or debris. - Duration of job: They originally estimated 5 days for the job to account for any adverse weather. They completed early and only took 3.5 days to complete the job. Throughout the process they kept me updatedand informed. - Equipment: They have the equipment to do the job! Many of the bids I received just wanted to throw manpower at the project and during their bid I was left wondering how they were going to remove my ficus trees and embedded chain link fence. First Class Fence when they visited my property and gave me the proposal told me how they were going to remove everything and the equipment/process they were going to use. They have racked hydraulic equipment to remove the stumps and posts in addition to a seperate stump grinder. - Permitting: Walked through the permit and contacted me when the permit was approved. - Communication: No issues reaching them! I never felt "in the dark" from the proposal to job completion. They are very good about communication via email and phone. Other (I don't really have any CONs, just some observations): - Slightly higher cost than other bids: The cost was slightly higher than the many other estimates I received, but two factors made me chose the higher bid with First Class Fence. (1) They actually had the equipment to do the job properly (hydraulic sled to lift stumps and a stump grinder) and (2) the other posts on Angie's List that spoke to the quality of their work. For me I wanted the job done RIGHT and a QUALITY fence install. I got them both, and it was worth it when I chose them and now after the job. You get wat you paid for! - Scheduling. Summer months in Florida brings a lot of rain and impacts the scheduling. It's their peak season and it took about 4 weeks from my deposit to them starting the work. This isn't a negative, just a reality of the high demand on their services and impact adverse weather may have on their schedules. I really can't write a stronger recommendation. If you want a professional and quality service, give Rebecca a call and use First Class Fence, you won't be disappointed.

First Class was amazing. While they do use an answering service for phone calls, they were extremely prompt and professional from the first contact through the closing of the permit. In fact, I preferred the email contact due to my job. They did everything they said they would do WHEN they would and at the same PRICE they quoted. The final product was fantastic and far sturdier than I expected. They didn't charge for obtaining the permit, and STILL came in $600 less than Lowe's. Since we bought our first home we've hired many great contractors and vendors via Angie's List, and these folks are by far the best.

First Class Fence did an excellent job all around. They were very communicative with both email and phone calls and did all the management and navigation of the permitting process. We thought our install would be delayed because of the deluge of rain we had been getting for several days, but lo and behold, on our scheduled day, Alan arrived bright in early in the morning drizzle and completed our fence that afternoon. (Honestly, we stood in the kitchen and watched in amazement as Alan did the the install. He is one of the hardest working men we have ever seen.) We had gone with their recommendation of a 4 foot black coated fence with a tension wire, and we couldn't be happier! Our dogs are free to roam, and I think I hear our neighbors breathe a sigh of relief. Highly highly, so highly recommend!!

Just great! The planning and permitting was flawless. He arrived on schedule, worked hard and did a "first class" job. The fence looks wonderful and is incredibly well constructed.
