Josh and his team were OUTSTANDING, from start to finish. They are extremely knowledgeable, prompt, honest, and professional. Josh takes customer satisfaction very seriously. He explained every step of the process to us, he was always available to answer questions, and he was very conscious of avoiding unnecessary costs. If you have a leak or a mold issue, THIS IS THE COMPANY TO USE!

Josh's personnel were courteous, industrious and professional. They removed all affected trash and cleaned the area after they were done. Josh himself made sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. The house passed inspection after their work. I would definitely recommend his firm again for this kind of work.

Very suddenly I found out a previous owner installed the master shower improperly leading to a mold situation. Josh and crew quickly took care of the issue without making the situation any more stressful. To start, unlike a competitor I interviewed, Discreet provided a detailed quote and explained the entire process. Each day they would call ahead to let me know they were inbound and showed up on time. They proactively took precautions when they were working not to spread dirt throughout the house when bringing equipment in and out. At the end of every day they would clean up any tools and drop cloths and would vacuum any dirt that may have incidentally been tracked in. Day 1 (Friday) they sealed off the area and installed an air scrubber so they could begin the demolition and removal without spreading mold spores. By the end of the day they had removed the bulk items. Josh explained that for the next step the area had to be dry so the containment was left up over the weekend with air scrubber and a dehumidifier was added. Day 2 (Monday) they returned to clean and seal the remaining surfaces. Day 3 (Tuesday) they removed the containment area and fogged a disinfectant over the area. Josh was always available in person or on the phone to answer any questions I had and his crew was very professional. Definitely give them a call if you find yourself in an unfortunate mold situation.

I recently purchased a new home and a washing machine malfunction caused water to flood a certain area of my house. Josh and his team did an outstanding job of assessing the situation, immediately putting procedures in place to mitigate the damage and keeping me current on their progress. The overall service period lasted a few days and Josh really went above and beyond to make sure I understand the damage caused and how best to remedy the situation. His prices were very reasonable considering the situation and I would definitely use his services again should the need arise.

The work included setting up the appropriate containment areas, installation of air scrubbers (for negative air pressure), organizing AC coil and duct work cleaning, and performing the actual mold remediation cleanup. The Discreet team pulled all of our lower kitchen cabinets out from underneath a granite countertop (without moving or breaking the granite!). They removed all affected drywall, cleaned all wall studs, cleaned all affected concrete, and sealed the entire area. They also cleaned the upper kitchen cabinets to ensure they were free of any airborne mold spores. During the remediation process, Josh wanted to be sure that there were no other issues in the kitchen. He tested my kitchen window (which was outside of the original containment area) and found a high moisture reading. We pulled the window sill and we found that the kitchen window was not installed properly and there was mold growing around the window dry wall. Josh advised remediation steps and gave a very fair estimate. We had him extend the existing containment area and remediate the window area as well. Josh also let us keep an air scrubber running for an additional day at no additional cost. Before starting the remediation, Josh worked with the company we were using for the kitchen rebuild to ensure they knew what they were going to have to fix, had exact measurements of our existing cabinets, and coordinate granite support placement. The subcontractors that Josh used for the AC coil cleaning, and duct work cleaning were great as well and I will review them separately. Josh and his team (Bill and Mike) exhibited the highest level of integrity, honesty, and thoroughness. They were all very courteous and established a great deal of trust with us. We also want to thank them for taking extra time to answer our endless questions, taking extra pictures, finding the window issue, and providing additional documentation for insurance purposes. I would have given them an A+ review if there was such an option.

Josh was awesome. I had mild green mold growing in a kitchen cabinet and called Josh he was great even wore shoe covers not to dirty up my floor. He inspected the cabinet and he couldn't find anything so he crawled into my very creepy my crawl space to make sure nothing was coming from below but he didn't find anything. Josh took tons of pictures and gave me recommendations if I wanted to think of insulating. His visit was free and I even felt guilty not paying him. I would totally recommend Josh.

He did an excellent job and the price was reasonable. He was a young guy and I was highly impressed with his professionalism; this kid was really on the ball. He was very responsive but did refer me to a friend of his for other work I needed who I was not 100-percent thrilled with; but that was not his fault and he did nothing wrong. He was very honest and I was very impressed.

Josh was extremely helpful and professional. His estimate was right there with the rest of them. However, it was still more money than I had, so he was willing to work with me and told me what to do when I had to do the work myself to to lack of funds. He even visited me several times when I called him to ask him questions. I would highly recommend him for his helpfulness and honesty.

In general it went well, except that they kept finding areas with more mold that had to be taken care. We are very happy with Josh Winton's service, always available and responsible including at the end he helped solved another issue that was not directly related to the work that his company performed, unfortunately I can not say the same about Merit Insurance Reconstruction, company that Josh recommended for the mold damage reconstruction.

He was very good and very efficient. I didn't have any additional work done though because I found it to be a little expensive. Other than that, I had a great experience. He was very nice.

Josh is a friendly, honest and hard working professional and all around stand-up guy. Despite my not requiring the type of services he provides he still helped me solve the problem (which turned out to be a leak). I would recommend him to anyone seeking mold remediation services as he is a genuine professional.

Josh and his team are exceptional and did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. We had a few different vendors come and give estimates. Josh seemed to be the straightest shooter and our experience proved that initial impression accurate. Josh gave us all of our options, explained everything in good detail, and let us make the decisions. He then told us what he would do and then did everything he committed to doing.

I called Discreet becuase I had a tenant complaining of mold issues. Josh called right back and stopped by to check things out within a day. He told me the issue had to do with improper use of the AC units. There was no mold, but some moisture in the wall where a window had been left open in the rain. He explained what I could do to alleviate the problem. No charge. He even took the time to write it all up for the tenant indicating the tenant could call him with any questions. No charge. Josh is really a true professional. He gave me peace of mind and I would not hesitate to contact him again, or recommend him to anyone. He is punctual, professional and HONEST!!

Josh was right on top of it from day 1, waiting the AIRMD report, and then visiting site. He wrote his recommendation and sent it though email along with calling me and explaining the report in layman's terms. Again, he has contacted a person for some drywall work we will be needing in the future. He has explained things we can do ourselves to help bring down the cost since all this remediation will come out of our pocket due to no insurance. He will go to site and begin the mold remediation.

Josh is awesome. He is an young and energetic professional who has taken the "old" out of mold. His processes are streamlined and up to date with technology which creates an efficient engagement. Josh was always available and incredibly flexible as I needed the job completed quickly. He was kind enough to fit it in his busy schedule. In addition, he was not going to leave or take the final payment until he knew I was completely satisfied. In fact, we still had traces of a bad type of mold and his team was on it until it registered zero. Since Josh does not provide testing, I did decide to do that separately at my own cost as I wanted to make sure there was a clean bill of health. Thanks to you Josh and your team. Oh, BTW, the price was very reasonable compared to the other yahoo's I received quotes from. :-)

Josh Winton, the owner of the company and my contact, was extremely professional, giving me feedback and offerring advice at every step of the project. Although we never met, since the work was done at our Florida condo and we live in New York, it was very reassuring to know that we were in good hands. Our full-time tenant was also very impressed by Josh's professionalism, punctuality, and general concern for her well-being throughout a stressful situation (she had to move out of the condo for several weeks). Although I hope that we never have to use their services again, if we ever do have a mold problem in the future, I would definitely use Discreet Restoration.
