Comfort Air

I have been using Comfort Aire for years and there is no other person I would say you can trust to do a great and reliable job. Al is the best and he has helped me out of more than one pickle in the past. DO NOT hesitate to use his services! Al, your the best.

The AC couldn't maintain temperature during the day, with inside temperature rising to 81-83 degrees. Al checked all the freon levels which were all good. He said if there was a small leak like Service America said the unit would be complete drained of freon as its a high pressure system. He then came inside and checked the air flow and temperature coming out of the vents, which was at least 10 degrees warmer than it should be. He then checked the air handler in the attic and immediately found the tape holding the return box to the handler had come detached and hot attic air was being sucked in. When I asked him how much to fix it he said it's something he would contract out to do, however if I'm handy (which I am) I could pick up the tape and mastic at Home Depot for less than $20 and I can fix it myself. He took me to his truck and showed me exactly what to get which I did. I taped the intake back to the unit, applied the mastic to seal it all up, and the unit has been working perfectly again ever since. All Al charged me was $65 for a service call - the best $65 I've spent in years. Al is dependable, honest, someone I'll definitely use again and someone I highly recommend. You don't easily find guys like Al around these days.
