Great work, nice guy - will call again

One of Howie's service people came out and surveyed my problem. He said, "I think we can be of service to you". He assured me it could take up to a month to get the permits. He also assured me they would call me when they had them. I waited a month and never got any phone call. I then call Howie's back and spoke to a woman. I asked her if they had gotten the needed permit/s since it had been a month. She contacted another person in the office and she said, "We can't help you. You can call this other guy who's done this kind of work before." I feel I wasted an entire month during another rainy summer month.

He had to go back to the shop to get what he needed but on his return replaced the split pipe with in minutes

It was after hours and they had someone come out within the hour. The men were nice and professional and completed the work timely.

Fine. Plumber had to leave house 2x to go to Home Depot for parts. We were charged for the parts needed, but was not given any itemized cost sheet for what was purchased and charged for, just charged a flat $100 for parts.

About as good as it gets, always timely, priced fair, professional. So fortunate to have a go-to plumber in what is often an unreliable industry!

I would have to say that in all of my experiences in hiring a plumber, this is the first time that I ever had a great experience.. They showed up within 30 minutes of my service call, was super friendly, very professional, and quoted me a very reasonable price for the work that needed to be completed. I would highly recommend them to everyone, and will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you so much. A++++!

Everything went great! They actually called to see if they could come early which was nice. Very Professional and got the job done fast. I would use them again without hesitation.

I called this morning to have my toilet repaired and was told someone would be here around 1 pm. At 4 pm I called and left a message to find out where the repairman was. The girl in the office called to say that at 3:30 pm the repairman called my number and a man told him no repair was needed. I told her that no one called my number and there wasn't a man here to answer the phone. She argued with me that the repairman wouldn't lie. Apparently she believed that it was more plausible that I would wait around all day for the repairman, then when he called, pretend I was a man and tell him not to fix my toilet so that I could spend the entire evening without plumbing in my bathroom. Really? How dumb do you have to be to argue with a customer and accuse them of lying? Apparently, the girl who called me a liar double-checked the number called back with a message that she gave the repairman the wrong number. Perhaps this would have been something to do BEFORE telling me that I was mistaken about a man answering my phone and canceling the service call.

They did a good job. They were dependable and on time.

The lady that answered the phone was friendly and informative, the plumber Kevin was great, he worked with me and ended up making 2 trips. The owner drove out and introduced himself to me. Everyone involved was friendly, professional and easy to work with.

It went very well, no issues. In fact, Howie's actually bailed me out of a tight spot. I had ordered the shower valve and shower trim kit from Lowes on August 11th. Lowes said it would arrive by August 20th, which would've been fine since the plumber was scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th, but my trim kit and valve never arrived. I called Lowes and they said it was on back order until September 24th and they should have called me, but they did not. They then ordered me a trim kit and a different valve and promised it'd arrive by Monday, August 25th, and you guessed it - it didn't arrive. I acquired the valve I needed via Amazon and Howie's got me the trim kit. Felix was a pleasure to deal with and all of the work was done neatly. Thanks, Felix, you are a good guy.

hadn't arrived by 8:30am I called the office to make sure that he was still coming. That's when I found out the new girl should have said that the plumber will arrive between 8am and 11am. The plumber (Felix) arrived at 10:45am and got right to work. Felix is a very friendly man who is also a very good plumber. Felix kept right on working while giving us information on the area. (We had just moved here from out of state 7 days ago). Bottom line is, Yes I would use Howie's Plumbing again.

.Service was prompt, professional and reasonable. Both office and field people were knowledgeable. I got exactly what I needed.

Dewey did a great job for us as he has in the past. He is low key, works quickly and cleans up when he is done. I have been very pleased with this company both times they have worked in my home. If I have any plumbing issues in the future Dewey at Howie's Plumbing will be the first call I make.

Two gentlemen were always on time and very nice.

Randy and the gang were tops ! This was a large job that required a General Contractor. They recommended one in the area who caused havoc for us and SS plumbing by not pulling permits and not hiring qualified workers. The job was a MESS and our bathroom was inoperable. Besides ourselves, Randy and his gang stepped up not only to fix the problems but to go to bat for us with the county in getting this Contractor reported. He also recommended Qualified electricians, etc to help finish the job. Don't know what we would have done without them, even though the cost was more than we budgeted for.

The service was outstanding. They came in and gave me a very fair bid to do the work. All of the pipes were very high quality and seemed to be installed properly. They had to go in through the walls to do a lot of the work, and they even brought a drywall guy in for repairs. I can't even tell where they did the repair work on the wall. The plumbing is working flawlessly. They did everything they said they were going to do, and they were very quick and efficient. I think they were already repairing the drywall on the 2nd day. After I signed the initial contract there were a few additional things that I wanted installed. They did not complain and did a lot of extra work at no extra charge. I have dealt with a lot of contractors in the past, and these guys seem to be the best. In my opinion, they are a cut above in the plumbing field.
