Licciardello Sanitation Service

After contacting about 5 other companies and being told our area was not serviceable, LSS assured us that they would, in fact, service our dirt road. I had heard bad things about them in the past, but went with them out of necessity. On our first scheduled pick up, our trash was not picked up. I called and spoke with Emily, who is very nice and professional, and she explained that since we were a new customer, the driver probably didn't know where we were located and just weren't yet familiar with his "new route." She assured me someone would come and pick up before the end of the day. When I came home from work, the garbage was picked up. The next week, which would have been our 2nd pick up, we forgot to put our trash out. Our third week, the trash was not picked up again. I called and spoke with Emily and, again, she was very nice, but gave me the same story as before. She assured me someone would come and pick up before the end of the day. When we came home after dark, the garbage was still there. I called Emily the next day and she, again, assured me that someone would pick up by the end of the day. She even stated that she would call the route manager and make sure that he went by with the driver to make sure the driver knew exactly where to go. She said that she would call me back to verify. Around 5:30pm, I received a call from Aaron, the owner of the company, who stated that they would be by in the morning to pick up, but that they will not pick up any more because we were too far down the dirt road. He suggested that we call some of the other companies in the area; I explained that I already had, and that was why I decided to go with their company. Our conversation ended with the understanding that they would be by in the morning, but not again after that. The next morning, our trash was not picked up. My husband finally had to call a friend to do it and we now have to purchase a pick-up truck to be able to haul it ourselves.
