Description of Work: They transformed our large screen porch into a Florida Room, adding energy efficient Windows, a half glass outside door, outside light, electrical outlet, and hooked into our existing heating/ AC system. Bennie was a pleasure to work with, always on time, and ensured everything was done correctly. Never said "no" or "it will be an extra charge" whenever I asked him to do something else. We have gotten nothing but compliments whenever someone comes over and sees the new room. I referred LH I to my sister in law for a bathroom renovation and she was thrilled with the finished product. Great Family Business. They are my Go To home improvement professionals.

+ -1 moreThis is a WONDERFUL family owned business and the leader is Mr. Ben Licciardello (father) who is so personable and informative, Ben explained the entire process from start to finish and pointed out some savings tips as well. I felt so comfortable and educated when he left. Licciardello's quote was the lowest of the three I received from other contractors, and the most important factor he indicated the price WOULD NOT go up, if they discover more intensive wood damage. His son's came out the next day and again explained all the process and immediately started the job, It took them two days, and seeing all the wood they had to replace, I felt it was fast and Excellent workmanship! I love the finished product, I posted pictures of before and after. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs ANY type of work in their home! I am so glad I found this company and hope to have a lasting business relationship with "Licciardello Home Improvements." PS: They are starting another job for me (June-2013) inside my home, (new flooring/ceiling scraping/garage ceiling repairs) be sure to look for upcoming review and more pictures.

The estimator left his cell-phone number for us to call him back, which we did and after playing phone tag for a few days we managed to schedule an appointment – but he failed to show up and did not call to reschedule.
Description of Work: Remove and replace 1,800 sf. of screening for patio and birdcage walls and 8 X 12 ft. birdcage roof and 3ft. screen door.

+ 1 moreI called several handymen in my area and left messages. None responded. When I called Lucciardello Home Improvements,the owner answered. It is a family business with her sons doing the work. I explained the work that needed to be done and stated that no one wanted to do such a small gutter repair job. She had her son call me the next day and he came out and gave me a very low estimate to do the repair job. Within three days, he called, came out and replaced the dented gutter. He was polite, on time and very professional. Later in the day the owner called to see if the job was satisfactory. I will definitely use this company again.

+ -1 moreWe have upgraded our house by having LHI paint the trim while the rest of the crew added insulation behind vinyl siding. They also expanded the windows and doors by framing them and covering the framing with aluminum wrapping. Everything is caulked and sealed around the windows and the base of the house. Their detailed workmanship has solved our complaints from the original construction of our house. Our home has been rejuvenated and it no longer feels like 1985! The crew showed up on time every day. They cleaned up the yard before they left. We watched them install the siding and they were very careful to get everything done right. Everyone was helpful and respectful of our home and their workmanship.
Description of Work: We have finally found a company we like and It's even more rewarding to know the owner, Ben, has his own family perform the work. From the first day we moved in we wanted to fix our house so that we could take advantage of new products on the market and have a practically maintenance free home. I invited countless home improvement contractors to give us estimates for vinyl siding but we weren’t close to being satisfied with their proposals until we met Ben of Licciardello Home Improvements. It’s so stressful to find a contractor you can trust and we hope our thoughts might help you decide to call LHI for an estimate for any improvements you might be considering for your own home.

During the initial meeting the contractor (Ben) explained the benefits of the product as well as some potential cons, which allowed the consumer to make an educated decsision.The total price was very affordable for the amount of work that this company performed in order to restore the beauty of the house. This company truly understand qualitiy and ensured that all products were installed correctly. I'm definetly, going to use this company in the Future for all my rennovations. I recommend this company in the strongest term if anyone is seeking to employ an excellent contractor.
Description of Work: Removed skirting, siding, light fixtures, dryer vent, soffits and utility door. Added an extra layer of insulation by using plywood and foam before installing the new siding. Also, before applying the skirting added metal bars every 7 inches to ensure that the skirting would not bend. Installed new utility door and new light fixtures, and dryer vent . Around each window and door a frame was installed by using 2 x4 and sheet metal. Installed new soffits with vents.

+ -1 moreThe feedback that was on Angie's List was accurate. He came out for the estimate, he brought a double hung window and we liked the product. He talked about the different areas. We then researched it and decided we wanted sliders instead of the double hung, which is what we originally wanted anyway. He gave us four estimates and we chose the middle one and we asked him to bring a sample of that window. He came back out with the double hung even though we didn't want that and we read on Angie's List that he likes to push that product. I think he had a good product but he didn't listen as well as he could have. The estimate was in the ball park of what we were going to spend, but he didn't seem to want to sell us a product that we wanted to buy. He might be perfectly fine for someone else, but not for us.

+ 0 moreI found Mr. Liacadello to be professional, outgoing, easy to talk to and more than willing to answer questions and explain what he was doing and what will be needed in the near future.
Description of Work: There was a huge thunderstorm with high sideways wind on a recent Thursday. As a result, my bedroom window leaked and the wall beneath it started to bulge. When a similar storm hit last year, I was told by a handyman I trust that someone with expertise in siding should be called. I turned to Angies List because none of my neighbors know anyone to recommend. I found Liacardello Home Improvement and called them on Friday. I spoke with Mrs.Liacardello and explained my problems. She obtained information about the type and age of the house and set up an appointment the following week when her husband, Ben, would be in the area. On the appointed day, Ben called me from the road to say he would be a litle late. He arrived just 15 minutes past the original time and immediately began inspecting the exterior of the house. He quickly identified the problem and started working to make a temporary repair. he then moved to the interior to examine the wall that had been bulging after the rain. Ben described the type of work that would be needed, explaining that nothing could occur until the wall had dried completely. We left the return trip to complete everything until similar weather occurs. When it does, he or someone from his crew will return for a permanent fix.

He came over to measure the window discussed type of window cost and gave me an estimate for the services. decided to add the storm door. He explained the window has to be ordered will call to set appt date when the window and door comes in. Took 2 weeks for the window and door to arrive. They we're so nice when i had to change appt date because of my schedule. When they arrived to put the window and door in they we're very mindful about moving things out of the way and being clean about there work. When they left they cleaned everything up and put everything back.
