The crew arrived and set up promptly and worked steadily. Initially I was told it might take about 5-6 hours to complete the job, but it was done in only 3 hours (2 coats). I was very pleased with the results along with their work ethic & professionalism. I am already planning on booking them for more work in the coming months. Highly recommended.

We used Investment Painting Contractors to paint our waiting room and some accent walls in our office area. From first contact through finish, this company was great all the way. When I first left a message to schedule an estimate, Chris returned my call very promptly and he and his wife came out to give me a quote. They were thorough and friendly. The painters were awesome! They were punctual, polite and down-to-earth! They did the job very beautifully, professionally and safely. Our waiting room had very high ceilings and they had to set up scaffolding. I had even changed my mind on an accent wall paint color that day, which made him have to go and buy more paint of one color. He didn't complain or even blink an eye! He said it was no problem, went to get the paint, and finished the job without skipping a beat. This company did a very quality job and cleaned up after themselves so nicely. You couldn't even tell they had been there, except for the freshly painted walls!

It went well. The house was unfurnished during their work but there was carpet in 3 of the rooms. The house was only 8 years old but a few walls had been painted in dark colors requiring a cover coat and then more final coats. Their price was enough less than another bid we got to be a deciding factor but not so much as to raise concerns about quality. He was knowledgeable and explained what they would do. The wallpaper was a problem in that they could not assess how hard it would be to get it off. He explained in the estimate that the price was for the worse case and the price could be less but would not be more. There were some difficulties getting all the wallpaper off and some areas were mudded and smoothed to allow painting over the paper without the paper showing. It was undetectable when finished. The existing ceiling paint, which we hoped to keep, turned out to be several slightly different colors and glosses. The painters were using a stock white color they carry to do the touch up the ceiling at the wall. In one large room this just didn't work out because of the off color existing paint so they repainted the whole ceiling. They removed most fixtures and cover plates for the painting and replaced them when done. The job took 2 days and everything was clean and neat when they left. They showed up on time and there were no delays once the job started. There was no extra charge even though they painted a ceiling that wasn't in the original estimate. I suspect that the wallpaper removal went easier than they feared in the worst case so they did the ceiling for nothing. We were very happy with the work and would use this company again.

Chris came to the house to inspect and give us an estimate of the cost and time that it would take to do the job (multiple color schemes for each area). After we had decided the basic color schemes we asked Chris to come back to the house to get our color schemes and help us make a final decision with some of the details. The work was excellent and all finished within 2 days.

The 4 painters arrived on time. Moved all the furniture and cornices and painted the two rooms in 2 hours. They left the room clean and in tact.

Wow! What can I say...... they did EXACTLY what they promised they would do. A team of 5 painters showed up at 8:00am and went right to work. They painted my entire house between 8:00am and 5:00pm. And the job was done perfectly. They were very careful to protect my floors and cabinets and not a drop of paint went anywhere it wasn't supposed to. They were all professional and friendly and didn't waste a minute of time. At the end of the day, I expected to have to clean my floors and carpets after they left. Not so..... they cleaned them! They returned all furniture to its former place. All I had to do was sit down and admire my newly transformed home. I would recommend this company to anyone. They do a great job!

A crew of four completed the work in an afternoon and the following morning. That including removing all the cabinet doors and drawers for sanding before priming and painting. They were well managed and professional in every aspect of the job. Upon complettion they cleaned up to extent that other than a new kitchen you would have never known they were there.

Chris was was responsive and professional in regards to painting my new home from all white to the colors we chose. This process was done remotely as we chose desired colors from a local Sherwin Wiliams store and communicated via telecon. Chris worked with my Sales Rep.to gain access to my property to assess and complete job. The price was fair and the job was outstanding. Even the builder commented on the nice job Chris and team did. The place was spotless when I first walked in. I would highly recommend Investment Painting Contractors. I've had experience with other painters (Northeast) with outcomes that were less than desirable. Chis and team did not disappoint.

I saw a designer before hiring IPC. From estimate, friendly, to the actual work, it was totally stress free. No damage, on time, very pleasant workers. They did all the heavy lifting of my furniture and wall decor without complaints. Recommend them anytime.

The job went smoothly. It was a crew of 5 men. the arrived on time and got right to work. They did a beautiful job. I recently purchased this house and every interior door was black, they are now white and look new. I also had taken down mirrors in both bathrooms and the walls needed some repair which they did before painting. I had friends over the next day that saw the before and were very impressed. I am finally feeling like this is my home. They are a great company, The owner calls you back shortly after you leave a message, and if he is running late when he is coming to give the estimate he calls. It is refreshing to deal with people who are courteous. I know now why he has such a successful business. I will have them back for my kitchen in the very near future.

DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER...This company is stupendous! Five (5) men arrived at 8:00 AM and went right to work. My husband and I had removed all pictures off the walls, taken the dishes out of the hutch and removed most of the items in the areas to be painted to make it easier for the painters. When they moved the refrigerator, washer, dryer, sofa, etc., they swept and wiped down the baseboards before they painted. Another plus for them. They knew just what they were doing. Each man had his own job to do and it was carried out efficiently and with care. At 10:00 AM they took a short break. At 11:00 AM, my husband and I asked them what time they break for lunch, which was between 12 Noon and 1:00 PM. We asked them if they would like pizza and, of course, they said they would so we ordered 3 pizzas and ate with them. By 3:30 PM the job was finished and it was PERFECT! They cleaned up everything. They swept the floors, they wiped down the countertops, the stove, put everything back in its place that they had to move . These painters were outstanding...pleasant , efficient, careful, courteous, friendly, really great sense of humor because my husband and I like to joke around and they did too, so it was fun having them. I hope they enjoyed being with us as much as we enjoyed having them. Oh, by the way ... when we bought the house, the living room and dining room were originally a pale yellow and the kitchen was painted a soft green. The colors blended well together; however, my husband and I always loved white or off-white walls, but because of time constraints and the fact that the house had been painted only a year prior to our purchasing it, plus the fact that the colors did blend well, we decided to keep those colors. However, after 4 years, we wanted to go white. Prior to hiring this company, we did get one other estimate, which was a little less money, however, that company wanted 50% before starting and the rest upon completion and really did not look at everything we wanted done. We were very impressed with Chris when he came to give us his estimate. He immediately gave us a copy of his insurance and he walked around the house with us to see what we wanted done. I asked him if he wanted 50% down and, actually, he never gave me an answer nor did he ask for any money prior to starting the job. The reviews for this company helped us decide on Chris and I hope our review helps other people to decide. We would hire Chris and his crew back again, if we ever need painting done again. You want to know how the house looks now? Well, it looks like we have a brand new home. My husband and I are like 2 kids in a candy store! We keep walking around the house going "Ooooo, ahhhhh, WOW!" They made special provisions to come earlier than planned and did a very professional and neat job. The walls looked great. They cleaned up afterward. Great job! I would definitey recommend their services and plan to use them again.

Greatest painting experience - ever! The team was professional, punctual, courteous and hard working. They painted the four rooms in 3 hours. When finished, the rooms looked immaculate. No spots on anything. It was almost as if they had never been here. Each person knew his assignment and completed it with the same precision as the others. And the price beat the other quotes by almost 40% (which did make me skeptical during the quote process) - but it was the best decision in selecting professional help. If I need painting in the future - I know who to call.

We got bids from three different contractors. We chose Investment Painting Contractors because of the glowing reviews on Angie's List as well as good local references in our neighborhood. The bid from Chris Gibbs was the best deal, and they were able to work us into their schedule right away -- probably because it was a small job. The painting crew arrived precisely on time, went right to work doing the prep work, and carefully moving the furniture that had to be moved. They worked quickly, but carefully, with meticulous attention to detail. They completed the job in less than four hours, cleaned up and removed their equipment and trash, and put all the furniture that had been moved back where it belonged. The entire crew was friendly but professional throughout the job. We were completely satisfied with the job they did and will use them again should we need additional painting done.

I just can't believe how easy and efficient Chris Gibbs at investment painting is. He sent his crew to paint my home inside and I was out of town when he did it. I don't even know how Chris looks like, but I do know that he did a good job in my home just by phone contact. He is very reasonable and did a great job in my 3 bedroom villa. I came home after the job was done and everything was put back in place like no one was there. If it was not the color change of my walls I would have not known his crew was there.
