 + -1 moreTerrible! Walked through with owner to determine what was to be done. When actual work was in progress, he continually denied agreeing to some of the work. I had to continually walk through and point out plants that he did not remove. Then when he was specifically suppose to take out certain plants in an area, he just cut them down to the ground to make it look like they were taken out. Three days later when the plants started to grow again, I checked further, he never even attempted to remove the plants at all. When I confronted him, he said they did take them out. I have pictures showing they weren't. Very untrustworthy!!!!
Description of Work: Remove shrubs and plants and to clean up large yard to prepare for new landscaping incorporating stones into the plan.

Description of Work: He was too busy to do the small job we wanted and he referred us to another person. The other person talked with us but never came over to give us an estimate. It was too bad, because back then we had funds to do the work, but now, after Christmas, not so much.

 + 0 moreEd has exceptional workers!! I would watch through the window at times & look at how deep in thought they would be as to exactly how to layout the design. To us, his team should have their faces put on money they're so good.😀. The job turned out so incredibly good, much better than I anticipated. Absolutely recommend his team.

 + -1 moreIt took a number of days to finish the job and everything went perfectly. We plan to add another planted area at some point in the near future and there is no other company that I would call.
Description of Work: We purchased our home new and did not want any of the landscape package that was provided in the price of the home. We did have to take the sod as that was county code. Earthscapes was the second company I called. I also went to their nursery to speak with them. I have my certification as a Master Gardner in Florida and I am very picky! I pretty much told them what I wanted and with the help of their landscape designer, Rhett, al plan (an architectural drawing) was finalized. We had extensive plantings put in around the entire house plus a few trees that were well established size-wise. In addition, their crew moved the existing sprinkler system for the new coverage that was needed. The finished product was even better than I visualized in my mind. The crew worked hard and truly did a remarkable job. In addition they all were as nice as nice could be and kept asking if everything was okay, every step of the way.

 + -1 moreOnly problems were that their estimates for when they could start or return to finish were estimates only. Start was 3 days late (Friday start vs. Tuesday estimate) which caused a weekend to intervene. Finished everything on a Tuesday AM. Work mainly done by two hard fast workers with boss bringing plants, mulch, tools etc. and boss hauling away old and dead waste.
Description of Work: Presented landscaping plan and advice. Cleared old or diseased bushes and plants. Provided new plants, sod and mulch for all areas as per plan. Planted new plants. Repaired or readjusted sprinkler system heads. Guaranteed live plants for 6 mos.

They did not show up for two days without calling - after I called them, they told me they were waiting for more rocks to come in as they did not have enough at the supplier for our job. Once they did get the supplies, they came and finished very promptly. Ed Smith, the owner, is great to work with. Very easygoing and friendly - really knows a ton about plants and the design part he did was great, too. I have not seen any in our neighborhood that look as nice as ours and the fact that they made it a little different than what everyone else has was great.
Description of Work: Landscape consultation, drawings, tore out old landscaping, added new plants, palms, color, rocks & beautiful brick & concrete block design. Changed irrigation system & buried gutters. Also, made a grill patio on back of the yard.

Description of Work: Did a good job of layout of landscaping, had some shrubs die and they were replaced. Only complaint was we agreed to some trees, but were not warned of the mess they make in the seedlings coming up everywhere in the yard year after year.

 + 0 moreEd and his crew were very responsive during the installation process. He listened to all our suggestions. We have recommended him to several of our friends. My only complaint is with his follow up. We have set several meetings with him to discuss maintenance of our property and he missed several appointments. That is my only complaint about his follow-up service.
Description of Work: Creative Landscape Design completely landscaped our new home. We stated our desires as to what type of effect we wanted with our landscaping and Ed created an impressive landscape design including a walkway and paver patio.

 + -1 moreCreative Landscape came to my house on the exact date they told me they would be there. The owner created a design on paper for my approval, then executed the design to perfection. I am totally satisfied with the amazing job that they did.

 + -1 moreNot too well. Company showed up on time for scheduled estimate of work to be done. Seemed very professional, friendly. Provided good ideas. We mentioned that we had a time frame that had to be met. He stated that he'd have the estimate returned to us within 4-5 days. It took 10 days minimum. Due to this delay we were concerned about getting the work completed on time so we hired another contractor. The delay may have been a result of our home being located 30-40 minutes from his usual marketing area.
