 + 4 moreTravis consulting faced quite a challenge as I live in Europe and we had only 3 encounters in total. I wanted the job to be finished by the end of January, but as the cabinet maker was late in delivering most of the work was finished by the end of February. There are still 2 minor items to completely finish the job, but this is not because of Travis contracting, but a faulty delivery from the kitchen appliance people (frame around exhaust), and I forgot to choose handles for the new cabinet and I rather wait for that till I am back in the USA. All in all, Joe Travis is a responsible professional who is pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: Extensive master bathroom remodel, whole house painting and repairs, re-do kitchen cabinets with new finish, remove jacuzzi, repair deck, repair concrete slab by front door.

After having just a horrible experience with another contractor who really screwed up our house, Joe took great care in correcting all mistakes, overseeing any sub-contractors that he hired, and pricing all of his work more than fairly! Travis Contracting Service is the GOLD STANDARD of what you expect a contractor to be. Honest, Quality Work, and Stands Behind EVERY Project he does!
Description of Work: Oversaw the rebuilding of two large bay windows, replaced garage side door, hung drywall and plastered, repainted rooms.

 + 2 moreThey do everything. He and his dad came out and gave me estimates. The price was fair and the workers they used were polite and trustworthy. I'm really glad I found them. They're still doing some work for me. He was A+++. I have never been so thrilled in my life.
Description of Work: I am using Travis Contracting Services. He removed the popcorn on the ceiling, he removed wallpaper and the carpet, and he took down the kitchen cabinets. They took down about 1,500 square feet of wallpaper and they textured and painted the walls. He also cut out a wall in the kitchen and he painted the ceiling.

 + 0 moreI can't say enough good about Joe and his crew.We had a major flood in our house and EVERY wall was effected.They put up drywall and mudded each wall, sanded each down and painted them, to perfection.They also took down all of our popcorn ceilings and replaced them with "knock-down" ceilings.They are punctual, hardworking, and got the job done right the first time! I can't recommend them highly enough!

 + 5 moreWhen Joe was here to look over the popcorn removal he asked what else we were doing, and it just so happens that Joe does remodeling. What a savior! He not only was honest with his assessments but he told us the truth. He did what he said he would do, He fixed and all concerns that we had, he even helped us pickup and return large merchandise at home depot. Now I ask you; what contractor would ever do that? See Joe does things the old fashion way. He does all his work as if it is his home and the quality is what he would want in his own house. I thought people like this were lost in a bygone era of yesterday. Not Joe Travis. He is the hardest most contentious, honest, ethical, dedicated, contractor I have ever worked with. Please don't hesitate and call him. He can make your remodeling dreams come true!
Description of Work: Here is the bottom line: Joe Travis is the most honest, trustworthy, respectful, hardworking contractor you will ever meet. Call him and you will be forever grateful that you called him. We did what most do when wanting to remodel and paint your new house. We searched online, we asked our friends and then we found Angie's list. We Contacted Joe Travis, a Family owned business to initially contract for popcorn removal and to put knockdown on the ceilings. They not only showed up on time and treated us with respect and honesty they explained everything. Most popcorn removal companies say it will take two days and Joe's company said if you want it done right it will take four. THEY WERE RIGHT! Awesome job! Other companies I have used in the past rushed the job, over sprayed and charged allot extra just to seal and paint the ceiling. Not this company. Hands down the best company t I have ever used!

 + 0 moreOur newly bought home's ceilings were completely covered in popcorn! Yuck! We did an internet search and found "Travis Painting", whose services included popcorn removal. Then we looked him up on Angie's List. We really liked Joe Travis. He gave us a competitive quote and began the job promptly. We had approximately 1200 sq. ft. of popcorn to be removed. The removal took one day and included fixing imperfections in our ceiling. The second day Joe's crew blew knock-down texture to the ceilings. The painting the and touch up to our wall paint happened on the last day. When I noticed the crew didn't get every wall corner painted, Joe came out and painted it himself! We would highly recommend Travis Painting to anyone looking to get rid of their out-dated popcorn ceilings and /or for any drywall repair.
